15 - g092sa: How do as I start my installation of windows 7?

Hello

My 15-g092sa came with the victory of atrocious 8.1. I need to get a job done, so I try to install my Windows 7 Pro 64. That the DVD was used for several times whenever I had replaced the material. It starts well on any other equipment.

However, it will not start on this machine. I found the BIOS settings and put the drive hard drive (windows Startup Manager) in the background. Everything else is above it and should start before it. The DVD does not start, an ISO bootable USB does not work...

When you try to install from a win8.1 running, the installer won't let me handle my partitions, a crucial reason for me to want to manage installation myself.

How to start something else than the bloatware of this PC?

Hello:

In order to start from a DVD and install and run Windows 7, you need to change 2 BIOS settings.

See the info on the link below for which parameters need to be changed.

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03736054

You must leave these changed settings, because Windows 7 is not compatible with secure boot and vice versa.

You have a service for the instance of XE, is it not? his name must be OracleServiceXE: set as manual, and you can launch it whenever you want.

    Hello PirateBarnabas,

My first tip would be to backup or another move all data that you had in the second install in the first or the machine off.

Once this has been done, there should be no attachment to what anyone in this facility.

It can be deleted and edited in the boot.ini file.

  • I need instructions to start the installer of Windows 7 from my drive.

Of course, I bought what I call the "manufacturer" of Windows 7 version, but cannot get it from the DVD in the computer. The Microsoft Store said "and then run Setup.exe from the folder root disk", but all I see are the 'boot' records, which start anything when I click on them, but no folder root. Please notify

  • Vista system does not start after installation of windows update 10thFeb2010. Only start in safe mode. Windows Update does not open

Updates to auto (windows Update) using.  Downloaded automatically update yesterday (10thFeb10) and when I shut my computer down it started to install them - as usuall.  However start my computer than this 11thFeb10 am and he began to run through regestry files when starting up.  Then it is impossible to load windows.  Just went to a blank screen.  Rebooted several times and were able to start it in safe mode.  Tried system restore but the same thing happens.  Obviously there was something to this update that 'changed' my computer and I'm not happy about it!  Also thought that there could be new updates (perhaps to fix the last update) but I can not even Windows Update to open it.  Tried online and he tells me that I have never downloaded updates and that none are available.

I use Windows Ultimate x 86.  I hope someone can help me!

Got a response from Ms.  Good all who have this problem - you have an ATI Radeon graphics card?  Driver is causing the conflict.  Uninstall all the stuff ATI goes on ATI web site and install the download of 'single driver '.  Reboot and then you can download and install other fancy programs that come with your graphics card.

    Hello

Installation of HP discs are validated by reading a "tattoo" on the bios, so the media since another laptop will not be installed.

The easiest option would be to order a set of recovery discs using the link below - replacement cost vary depending where in the world you live, but they are generally inexpensive...

    Order HP recovery disks.

If you have a problem with this link, order them directly from HP.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

If you just want to keep the current installation, you must really check in Device Manager to see if anything is missing or has an error icon you can see that all the necessary drivers are already installed.

  • How can I connect the new installation of Windows 7 for the user profiles on a separate drive har?

Original title: connect Windows 7 to the output of user profiles?

    I want to reinstall Windows

My user profiles are on a separate HARD disk
Is it possible to connect the new install of Win 7 to these existing profiles
Or I'll create all new profiles and just move all the files manually?

You can change the registry so that it points to your old profile folder. However, I suspect that this would cause problems because the SID and many registry keys would be incorrect for the current installation. I would like to move the folders manually.
