  • HP Pavilion Notebook e016dx 17: recovery driver webcam HP Pavilion 17

After a restoration of the system to my laptop and an upgrade to windows 10 that my webcam stopped working so I had checked the driver for updates the Device Manager said there were not and or Skype or youcam could recognize the built-in webcam, although he says that he has no problem I tried to disable and the reactivation of the webcam but also to restart the pc and nothing had worked and eventually I ended up accidentally uninstall the integrated webcam driver altogether and I really want to restore my phone again if it can be avoided. So is it possible to re - install the driver for the webcam which is integrated with the HP Pavilion 17 Notebook?, I have already tried the site looking for the driver and did not find the drives for my laptop it simply suggests that I have updated windows (which I already have and the problem was not resolved).

    Hi oOXeonOo,

    Thank you for your answer!

Webcam downloads only I find on software and Driver Downloads, is the software to use it. Cyberlink Youcam software.

So in this case, I recommend you to try the full system factory restore, remember to back up your files first.

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

  • Need USB 3 Windows 7 drivers for HP Pavilion 17-e016dx

Anyone know the correct drivers to install Windows 7 drivers for usb 3.0?

I don't miss the old days, when you can just download the drivers from the seller... no wonder that HP losing market share

    Hello:

Install the AMD chipset driver and restart.  USB 3.0 drivers are probably not automatically install in your model.

    http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-64

Read this thread below on how to obtain these drivers installed on your model. Try my method first and if that does not work, try method posted by NAP_CHL_IT.

In addition, you may have to restart the laptop again and repeat the manual procedures listed, I learn.

  • 17-e016dx WLAN HP update

I read that various portable computers HP could have BIOS white list that affect hardware upgrades.  I can not get detailed information to confirm or deny however.

My problem is that my built in "802.11n" adapter is only 1 x 1 and I can never connect to the more then 65 Mbps or 72 Mbit/s according to the used router.  I am planning buy AT & T GigaPower and need much better 802.11n speeds or even better 802.11ac speeds.

Are there updates to HP or third party updates which should work on my laptop?

I just realized that I had an old laptop laying around and pulled her wlan card.  FWIW sound ' an Atheros 802.11n (also 1 x 1).  It has been detected by Windows 8.1 smoothly.

I'm guessing that these theories whitelist are little in the past... now to go looking for a beautiful 802.11ac module to give up here.

  • HP Pavilion 17-e016dx

I bought this phone 2 days ago and I can't find the drivers for windows 7 (x 64).  I spent hours and hours and I could find the LAN driver by going to the manaufacture (realtek) and do it from there.

I was hoping that after I do the wndows update I'll get the rest of the drivers:

    • Network wireless controller
    • PCI device
    • SM bus controller
    • USB controller
    • unknown device

HP support said that they do not have any software for this laptop yet published. How can you sell a laptop without the drivers of the public for him.

    You are welcome.

You should not need a driver for the webcam.

    You must just this software.

I don't understand why this Driveguard 6 driver is not installed. This is certainly the driver you need for the device 6007.

Please see this thread. You can try this driver too if you want.

If you still cannot get it, try to manually install the driver through the device in Device Manager. Update driver, select Browse for driver software method, go to the C:\SWSetup\sp### (number of the download folder), make sure that the box next to include subfolders is selected.

  • Why no dual NIC card?

    I have a laptop of 15 t - n200 old HP Pavilion of 4 week which is 8.1 Windows Pro 64-bit.

I also have (and am downgrading) a HP Pavilion DV8 - 1000 CTO.

I was shocked to discover that my old laptop has a dual band NETWORK card and my other does not work!  I was even more shocked to see that HP does not sell the current line of the pavilions with a dual band NETWORK card (I thought I bought one online).

I have 2.4 G and 5G in my house (I need 5G to run the products as my Apple TV with movies stored on an external hard drive).

I tried to get an answer from HP, nothing done, at this point.  I even opened an executive complaint (case No.: 300369376) with a nice boy named Jeff who knows little about the technical aspects of the Wi - Fi.

Can I replace my current map of the NETWORK (from my DV8-1000) interface card in my new TouchSmart 15 t-200?  It's going to be a problem of white list?  Can I install the Intel dual ac 7260HMW card?  Or, I'll buy the NETWORK card that is appropriate, but I need 5G connectivity or else I lost $748.00 on a Clipboard of HP.

I'm practically LIVID that I have could not buy a NIC dual band with my new Pavilion, but was able to do this with my old DV8t of 5 years.  And more that HP did not have that clear during my online purchase.

    Please advise, thank you!

    Hello:

All I can say is try your dv8 card if it's the same form factor half mini card.

HP didn't / don't have the BIOS whitelists certainly to your dv8, but I read a few posts from our forum members who have installed different dual-band cards (I also think that includes the new Board of Directors of Intel cards) in their series notebooks Pavilion 15/17 with no problems at all. I refer to such a post below.

The referenced model is a display model 17 inches of the 15 series and what blew my mind was this material even has the 7260 Intel and AMD worked!

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware/HP-17-e016dx-WLAN-upgrade/m-p/3383443#M116640

This leads me to believe that HP may have abandoned this practice.

This is the best I have, or someone else can do to help you with your question.

Please let us know if another wireless card works.

  • RALink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter will not connect to 802.11 g, windows 8.1

    Hello

I'm not familiar with the forum. Hoping I can get any help

Last week I boght a HP ENVY 15-j040el
S/N [deleted serial number for personal protection to prevent others from using SN for filing fraudulent claims guarantee]
    Product number: E4N80EA

Since the beginning, I noticed without wire did not detect signal of 5G of my router, but I was so anxious to perform the installation to the end

Unfortunately, nothing has changed. I tried:

    -upgrade to 8.1 Windows

-upgrade to 5.0.37.0 (25.11.13) RT3290 wireless network card driver

I wonder if I should configure the parameters of the advance of the RT3290 driver

    Thanks in advance

You are the very welcome, Sergio.

I am a consumer like you and do not work for HP, if unfortunately, I do not know what model wireless cards HP installs in their notebooks.

I agree with you, however, that 5.0 GHz has been around for centuries now, and it is high time that HP installs a better dual band $10 card.

I'm sure that people would be happy to pay the extra price.

My understanding is that HP may have removed the white list of BIOS to immobilize the wireless cards are not not in manual work, so you can experiment and see if you can install a dual band card in your notebook.

No guarantee that it will work, but a year ago, I would have told you that it was impossible.

    See this thread.
