22 min mp3 file cut to 9 min

Hello!

When you open the file with adobe Audition 3.0 up to 9 min instead he cut the original 22 min.

There is a limit to the free trial or a bad config?

Best regards

Gustavo

No new ideas, but just to remove one of your thoughts, the trial version of the AA is fully embodied, just the time limited.  It should open up whatever it is the full version can.

The idea of protection or corruption may be the solution... the file plays every 22 minutes in another player?

  • How to exchange a mp3 file with another without losing metadata?

I like to follow my iTunes library usage statistics, and I have a file of the song I want to replace it with a newer version. (The latest version is a more long/extended cut of the file that I currently have). I don't want to lose the metadata of the file. Is there a way I can exchange the old by the new and that iTunes file to associate the metadata of the old with the new file?

If metadata, you mean the game number, no problem.  Leave the track in your library.  Right click, view in the Finder to find its corresponding file.  Delete the current MP3 file and replace it with the new file.

  • For MP3 file size limit?

I have the Sansa Fuze 8 GB with 16 GB Sandisk microSD, firmware version v02.01.17A card.
Internal memory has 48.1 MB free external card has 4.72 GB free.
    3419 mp3 files, 281 records

I record internet radio directly to MP3 (mp3directcut) for my weekend road trip and usually have a file size of 700 MB (8-10 hours of audio). I had a problem with VBR in that the "rocket" wouldn't report the length correctly, nor fast towards the before or rewind properly.

The files themselves are playing very well, but try to fast forward the commercials would never work properly. Sometimes she would fast 30 seconds, then I would press fast forward but it would in fact 5 minutes earlier. I know it's a problem with VBR then I was recording with CBR. Are all my songs mp3 VBR however and they work very well in all respects.

Recording to the CBR presented a new problem, the player will just lock up and stay insensitive. This occurred after 90 minutes of reading, but as soon as 10 minutes. The "rocket" can cut or just hang. In both cases, it won't power back upward. I finally found a way to place it again by connecting to the PC (the player has no connect or lights in itself), press for 30 seconds, release taken, then lights up normally.

Is there a size limit to the actual file on the "rocket" or anyone has any ideas on how to play these big mp3 files? Did anyone tried larger files with Ogg or WMA?

You must have 90 free MB on memory on your rocket to make it work properly!  Having said that here will tell you to leave 200 MB free on the internal memory precisely for this reason...  George

  • with audition, is it possible to open, edit, and save an mp3 file without having to re - compress it?

I have a few audio files recorded only in the form of mp3 and need to make a few small internal changes. Is there a way to open files, make some basic changes, and then save them back in the form of mp3 without having to re - compress them and loss of quality? Could I, say, open a mp3 file, make cuts and pasta, then save the file as, example.wav and then simply say rename example.mp3? I use Adobe Audition 3.

Short answer: No. hearing (and virtually every audio editor) running in native mode as a .wav file, so you have to convert your MP3 then recompress to work on it.

Longer answer: MP3 as a format is a by-product of the evolution of the MPEG video compression.  For this reason, your records do not exist as a series of individual samples, MP3 comes from "managers" as it would be as well as photos.  This makes it impossible to do anything, but the simpler native editing MP3 format.  There are specialist pieces of software that can do things like adjust levels and cut coarsely to points in the MP3 format, but they are quite limited in what they can do for the reason that I mention.

Personally, I'll wave format as long as I can and never convert to MP3 at the end, for distribution, or by e-mail or other.

  • Why my hearing of Adobe CS3 record mp3 files in the form of fichiers.9 that is unrecognizable by my system?

I'm working out of CS3. Yesterday, I was cutting for a mixtape titles and I'm half done when I noticed that the songs were not save as mp3 files. Even if I select mp3 in the drop-down list type of file it saves it as an extension.9. No clue as to why this is happening? I even uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does the same thing.

It's actually something a little silly than BONE; Fortunately, there's an easy solution. The next time you go to save a file in MP3 format, not simply select the type, but type in the entire extension - so you could type {myfile} .mp3

Next time you perform a backup, everything should be back to normal, and you should not have to type in the extension of the set.

  • "Clipping" mp3 files

    Hello!

Maybe I'll ask a silly question, but I had tried various methods and cannot do. This is my first time using Adobe Audition.

I have a .mp3 file with almost it's vague is at-6 dB. But some "spikes" (or cutting I think) (5 or 6 in all the song) is to-1 dB.

Is it possible to cut ONLY the tips and not all files?  Say that any part of the file exceeds-2 or - 1 dB, but if it's under not to make changes. Effects - Clip restoration using and adjust an exodus-2 dB, it reduces all THE file in dB - 2 and I want to reduce ONLY the summits or newspaper clippings, not the entire file. Is there a way of "automatic" or I have to go to each peak and reduce one by one?

    Hope you understand me.

    Thanks in adavnce. Best regards.

    Gustavo

The effect of fixed limitation will knock down of these few pics without affecting the rest of the file. If you want, however, you can add a little additional gain to bring up the level of the rest of the audio at the same time.

  • 41 of Firefox on Windows is unable to read the first second of MP3 files

Although Chrome and Internet Explorer playback of MP3 files all normally, 41 Firefox doesn't playback the first second of any MP3 file.

    Example:

    http://www.sakisgouzonis.com/publicfiles/Sakis_Gouzonis_-_In_Unity_There_Is_True_Strength.MP3

I started Firefox in Mode safe, but the problem is still there. I also removed completely all my modules, but the problem remains.

Thanks in advance for your help on this issue.

The new update (Firefox 42) solved the problem. Thank you very much.

  • How can I force Firefox to download mp3 files and NOT play?

    Hi guys,.

I couldn't change the settings of Firefox in this way, that it does not play mp3 files at all (in any kind of player), but allows to decide what with them for example to download the file.

    What I actually did:

    - changed at settings, that I want a dialog or download any file type and NOT use any other option (yes, all of them - not any kind of effect was seen there...)
    - changed especially all mp3-related options to download
    - deactivated ALL plugins and addons
    - about:config -> media.windows-media-foundation.enabled -> false
    - uninstalled ALL types of mediaplayers (Winamp, VLC etc.), but not WMP because it would be very complicated and would cause several bugs

Many updates before (I think it's up to 20 FF or if) you could simply tell FF, I tried to download the file via the settings and now it isn't.

Is it possible to left I can force Firefox to NOT READ mp3 files in any player and offer my the possibility to download?

Please do NOT give answers like:

    - right click on the file and save it as ... I allready know that and do not want to use that solution. A few years before it was possible, so it should also be possible to directly click at the file and decide what to do with it. On all the sites I want to use it the possibilities are given and not blocked by the sites or implementations itself.

I thank very you much for your help in advance. I'm desperately trying to find an answer to this question for months...

Hello TurZ, please set media.windows - media - foundation.enabled back to its default value and turn media.play - stand alone false instead.

  • I can't import a mp3 file in iTunes 12.4.1.6

I downloaded an mp3 file in a web page, on the desktop. I want to import into iTunes.

I tried to use the file > add to the order of the library with no result. I also tried drag / drop on the window of iTunes music. The file obtained a plus sign and the border of the window went blue, but once again no mp3 in the music list.

So I hope that someone can suggest a fix for this.

    Thank you

    Geoff

Is it possible that the file is corrupted? You can download it again and try? ITunes is able to play?

  • Stop playback of mp3 files in a new tab

I want to open mp3 files in my player of choice. Firefox opens a new tab and play instead.
Made things "always ask" and it does not work as explained in other threads.
Tried to change the 'media.windows' etc. in the subject: config to false.
    Did not help at all!
I know I can "Save as".
I prefer to use firefox the way I have for the past years.
A button on a Web site that is labeled 'Download' should allow me to open the file in my player of choice.
On the contrary, it opens in a new tab and begins to play (if I wanted that I would have clicked on the 'play' button).
A given up hope and installed Chrome - and I have the same problem!
Stick with firefox if I can solve this minor problem (it IS a PITA!)
    Please help me!

Yes, this preference doesn't work anymore.

Media.DirectShow.enabled set to false to disable the built in support for MP3 files. It could be other things, but I don't know what. MP4 (H.264) files always works with this preference set to false.

Thanks for the links. This issue up before, but I could never find MP3 links without Content-Disposition: attachment, so I won't be able to reproduce the problem.

  • Firefox will not play SermonConnect mp3 files that have been uploaded to Amazon S3 server using S3 Organizer after 2014 7. Already downloaded the files OK.

Files uploaded to the Amazon S3 server are accessible via our Web site at littlecountrychurch.org. All multimedia files downloaded before January 7, 2014, be played properly on our media page. Files uploaded after January 7 refuses to play on the Firefox browser. To add to the confusion, other browsers Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer on Windows and Mac-play these files correctly. In addition, an older version of Firefox on an XP laptop plays files correctly. We even ran a test by downloading a working of the S3 server, re-uploaded the file file and Firefox would not read the freshly downloaded file, but he continued to play the same file previously downloaded without problem.

The problem is the content-type header sent to S3. The old MP3s are designated "audio/mpeg", which is perfect. Newcomers are designated "application/download", which does not work in Firefox native HTML5 audio player. (The inset on the screenshots is pasted from a screenshot of the Fiddler proxy).

On a normal web server, all .mp3 files usually served in the same folder have the same content type. Something seems different about Amazon storage, perhaps based on a difference in their environment "backstage."
