No icons user in cats

Today, I'm on Skype on my Windows laptop, 10 and saw that in group conversations are only user names and not their profile icons. This had happened before I switched to the compact mode in settings that showed them once again, but now there is nothing to make me to retrieve the icons for users. Is it possible to do this?

Icon user's Guide

Not sure if this is the right place to post.

Just install my new officejet 6700 on my 64-bit windows 7 Pro computer.

I would like to add an icon on the desktop for easy access to the HP Officejet User Guide.

I can load it by following a series of paths in Windows Explorer, but it's a real pain whenever I want to access.

Is there a way to create a shortcut on the desktop icon to load it directly?

Vista (Home Premium) won't let me change my password user (Administrator group)

I give the old password (this is the same password as my login information) and 2 times the new password.
When I click the button change password, Vista let me now that this isn't the right password!

If you want to change the password in Windows Vista, follow these steps:

-Click on Start and go to control panel.
-Click user accounts and family safety.
This link is not available using the classic view of the control panel.
If you use the classic view just do a double-click on the icon user accounts.
-Click the link for user accounts.
-In the area called to make changes to your user account, click on the change your password link.
-In the first text box, enter your current password.
-In the other two text boxes to enter the password you want to use.
-Finally click on the button of past change and to confirm the changes.
-Close the window user accounts.
-Now your Windows Vista logon password has been changed

By the way; you need ADMIN rights to change this.

Thanks for the reply. A friend told me to stop the BB, remove the battery and then turn it back on. The BB took a few mintues to come back but it worked and everything was restored. He explained that the BB goes through a process of battery conservation and stop all programs in order to save energy. He thinks that the current BB software is apparently not restored these programs stop you. Maybe the upgrade of the software you suggested will do just that (?). In any case, thanks for the effort.

How to set a password to connect instead of the fingerprint?

With age some women lose their fingerprints. How can I set up a password for my username so I don't have to rely on fingerprints? I put the password "under tension" but that was of no help. Thanks in advance.

Control Panel > display icon > user accounts > change your password

Add / change your password
- Use a decent password
- NOT your date of birth, not your dog, cat, bird and not your social security number or your license number...
- NOT your child's birthday or name...
- Write it down.
- Do NOT place it in your freezer in a vase, in the medicine cabinet or piano stool. Do not paste it under the desk, it sticks inside a drawer or write on the bottom of the laptop.

Portege R830 - use of fingerprinting as part of Windows 8

I have big problems with two drivers Toshiba on my Portege R830 computer in Win 8 Pro 64 bit upgrade.

I did a clean update on a reformatted hard drive, then went to install display drivers and that totally crashed my machine out.

When I put in my IDs of the machine would do a reboot of the force.
Finally, I am in safe mode (with SHIFT-restart the login screen) and was able to fix it and remove the driver.

Then I installed the utility of fingerprinting, this week still downloaded from Toshiba for my machine.
He even marked as "new".
That actually worked, in a way, but it caused my login icons user on-screen connection prior to appear as duplicates.

Took me forever to understand it is the utility of fingerprinting and when I removed the user icons are returned to normal.

So now the fingerprint reader is useless for me.

Caller ID info displays when I call a Skype mobile, it is not what is in my profile

When I call a cell phone from my Skype account, it ID me by information and photo that are not in my Skype profile. I quadruple-checked all information in my Skype account and cannot understand why he did this and how to get it to just show my Skype profile picture & name no matter what camera I'm calling you.

Palivion HP dv2000 can not connect main account

Dear Sir / Madam,.

I created two accounts. One is the main account and the other is Standard user for my grandson. But now when I click on the icon of the main account, the screen as below.

The user profile Service service has no logon.

User profile cannot be loaded.

I can't connect my account main user. I can only connect to my son's account. I think I might need to reinstall this laptop but I don't want to lose a lot of photographs which recorded a growth of the child and I did not burn disks.

HP Deskjet 3050 a J611n: scan of the computer is no longer available since windows 10 download

After downloading windows 10 to my laptop last week surprise, I can't scan from this upgrade and get the message that the scan to the computer is no longer available. I tried different routes to make it work again in settings, but I can't get the article that will allow me to choose scan of the computer. Now a friend in need of a very old HP PC Lions not having completely fortunately I managed to copy his files before he was insane - I offered this newer PC it after that I have "set up" for him.

I put a new account in place on this new PC "Ken" has been added. Then, after the deletion of accounts Judi & Fiona, I cleaned the machine with MalwareBytes, CCleaner & defrag. All is well now with only Ken appearing on the screen logon (with an image of the appropriate icon), that I used several times in the implementation of his e-mail account and move its acrossetc files. His password is empty.

Being the only user now Ken, I thought that it strange would its user (only) one click each time to the 'Log in', so I searched and found a box that said something to the effect «... do not show a picture of connection...» » . That started my problem! Removing his login "icon" brings ONLY the following - FIONA!

Of course repair and recovery repair 'R' does nothing on the removal of Fiona

You should be able to just select (click on) "Fiona", press the delete key, and then type any desired account name. It doesn't work?

Choose method 1 or method 2. I'm familiar with Hiren (method 2), but not with the program described in method 1 (even though it seems simple). Any ISO file you choose, I suggest to download and use ImgBurn (free) to create your CD bootable from the downloaded ISO file.

The registry key to change is in the same place as "userinit" (which is the example used in the article), so to follow 1-5 step method or method 2 for step 7.

In the right pane of the registry editor, you will see a large list of items. Scroll down the page until you see LogonType and double-click it.

In the "Value data" box, type 1, and click OK (1 is the same either hexadecimal or decimal).

Close the registry editor, take the CD from the drive and reboot. You should see the Welcome screen when Windows restarts.

I forgot my password, login and can't get into my XP computer

I forgot my log in password and I finally tyoed in the right pair, but now I don't remember what it was once again. When I got I went into Control Panel and changed the option will appear no user at Startup icons so that I can't remmeber a password. Then I rebooted my system. Opps, now it asks me to choose a user to continue but has not shown. So I have no user icons located and even if I find a way to see them again I can't remember my password. Help, please.

I posted about it, as some have some with choosing an avatar & only foreigners is available, even if there are other showing options to choose.

I took a glance at the code on the page & find the mistakes that make other avatars not available for selection

Yes, it's copy/paste & is a long but this is the reason only foreigners can be selected, at least that's my opinion.

I have tried different browsers and the same result, please correct the code.
