• Satellite X 200-251 lights after cleaning the speakers

  Basically, my laptop is suffering from overheating problem because the fan should be cleaned. I decided to give it a go myself and unscrewed all the screws below etc, released the album cd and battery and removed the plastic Panel that covers the speaker who has the power button and other buttons on it.

  So I decided to check the Internet for a guide on how to get to the fan. Ultimately he appeared more complicated then I thought and I dropped but I thought I might as well give the speakers clean up a bit because they were pretty dusty.

  So I'm on a rag and a cotton swab with one end covered with Wd40 and began dusting off a cleaning. Then I put the Panel in place, put all the screws underneath of the laptop and returned battery and plugged the power cable. But... When I pressed the power button would not turn on!

  The small lights that indicate to the laptop is plugged in and the battery is in are turned on, but nothing happens when I try and turn it on. Also I can't get the cd player to stay, it keeps slipping out! I would really apreciate to help here!

  I need a newer driver that a few apps that I need the latest version of CUDA to run correctly. One of my office machines running version 197,75 since May 2010, who does what it takes. Did someone tried this driver? Is there a new Toshiba recommended driver as that is more than a year (179,48)?

  The most recent driver is always placed on the Toshiba driver download page. This means that if you have already installed these drivers, your notebook computer is up to date and there are no updates available at this time.

  Theoretically, you can install the latest driver from nVidia directly but this driver is not pretested and it s on your own risk!

  Hello! I'm new here, but this seems to be the best way to solve my problem.

  I have Toshiba Satellite X 200-251. Awesome machine! NVidia SLI, fingerprint scanner, big screen... card and speakers harman/kardon 2.1.

  I have a strange problem with these. Whenever I use to listen to music there is a good chance that the laptop will 'freeze '. This is a specific kind of freezing - the HARD drive lights and windows freezes. What is the most annoying this topic - not only I can't love listening to the music of these speakers great but also once it freezes they continue to play about 100 ms of the song over and over again. For example, if I listen to Drum and Bass song she translates a loopback 'RRRRRRRRRRRR"from the speakers.

  BUT!

  When I use headphones, this NEVER happens.

  What could be the problem?

  It has 3 partitions, but the 3rd (at the end of the hard drive) is not visible in my computer.

  Probably not.

  Need an external hard drive as large or larger than the drive you want to back up.

  You have not said what backup software you are using.

  I use Carbon Copy Cloner by https://bombich.com/ $40.00 there. You can also use Super Duper.

  These two products will make a bootable backup complete or a clone of you existing hard drive, including your recovery partition.

  Once you made the backup, if your hard drive has never been to fail, you could simply start on the external backup drive.

  If you back up because you're upgrading the hard drive for an SSD, you can put the SSD in an external enclosure and clone your drive in the SSD, test it, and then replace the HD when you are confident that it works well.
