3330el dv6 with Windows 8

Hello, my name is Davide and I'm an Italian user.
I have this pc:
HP Pavilion dv6 3330el and I installed windows 8.
This laptop has two graphics card: intel integrated and ati radeon hd 6550
Unfortunately the ATI radeon driver is not correctly installed.
I tried to install the drivers provided by the official website of hp (exists only for windows 7).
I tried to install the drivers provided by the tool for automatic detection of driver AMD and AMD website (the link to download driver for windows 8 sent me a link to download the driver for windows 7).
But none of them works.
Only the Intel graphics driver works correctly.

Is possibile an update of the driver for Ati radeon hd 6550 for windows graphics card 8 on dv6 3330?
Thanks to you all.

Have a look here and see if that helps:

    Hello scriptripper,

Anti Virus programs are usually the first thing to look at when it comes down to not install software or things don't not communication between the computer and other network plug.

It's a piece of both sides. A risk on the one hand, it's great that it is made it is work and no risk of blocking, but fails when it comes down to it block do you your own work.

I have used AVG for years and it works very well and is free, after making the switch to MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials), about a year and a half before, have no feel the need to turn it back on.

  • HP Pavilion dv6 with Windows 7 - HP BIOS update

    Good afternoon

When I run the HP Support Assistant, under the button "updated and of the developed"; the tab "actions".  He tells me to update my BIOS.

I select and menu drop down it states the following:

    • SoftPaq = SP61028
    • Version = F.29

I select the download button and it does the new window and follow the download process.  When complete I chose to "restart" as requested.  Go through the necessary process.  Back on the desktop.

If I open the HP Support Assistant and look under the same as in the first sentence.  He told me that I should update the BIOS and is the the same thing again.

I tried 3 times to update my BIOS.  Is there a problem with the download?

Seems to me having 'weird' things going on with my laptop the past few weeks.  Hard to explain but I post something earlier on the Interactive Services detection window popping up.  Also my Mozilla Firefox keep gel (not answer) as well as a few other software.   I ran tune-up and make sure that I defragment on a weekly basis; seems to help.  I use ESET NOD32 Antivirus and it to update as it supposed to.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello again LuvGSPointers.

It turns out that SP61028 is the latest BIOS for your laptop.  However, you go ahead and try to download it directly from HP support site and install it.  Here is a direct link.

I also suggest that you uninstall and reinstall HP Support Assistant.  Here is a link to the latest version of HP Support Assistant.

Nice day.  I'll keep an eye out for your next reply.

  • HP Pavilion dv6 with Windows 7 - Interactive Services detection

    Hello

I get the following window poping up on my laptop...

    Detection of Interactive Services:

A program that is running on this computer tries to display a message.

The program might know form, you or your permission to perform a task.
(with the following options of your choice)

    • Display the message
    • Ask me later

If I see it, it goes to a white screen with two windows.  One is a runtime error (program:C:\windows\system32\spoolsv.exe) and other States something about the return to the previous screen.  Choose this option and it goes immediately to my office.  If I choose to ask me later, he returned to my office.  Anyway the window keep poping up.

I don't understand what it is or what to do about it.  But when the window appears the icon that appears in my toolbar has a picture of a camera and printer in it.  This connected to my printer?  Even if my connection to my wireless printer seems to be running.

  • Laptop freezes with Windows 7 upgrades

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 with Windows 7 64 bit, CORE i5.  This weekend the system windows automatically update itself when the computer is turned off.  When I tried to use the computer the next day he opened and allowed me to enter my password, but it froze after that - there is only a blank screen.  I was patient and waited and even timed - after that 10 minutes she was still a Virgin.  I used the system restore to return the computer to its settings before the upgrade.  Once more when stop you it Windows updated itself and I had the same problem.  I used the restoration of the system again then I could use the computer and send the message.  How do I address upgrades of windows if it is not my computer freeze?  Is there something special I need to do to make sure that the system is upgraded without causing my computer to fail?

Recently, I had to completely restore my computer and do not want to do it again.  I think that now it has completely failed due to this automatic update of Windows.  All the solutions or should I just get another computer?

I installed last and it froze again.  I tried again but this time I've scanned my computer for virsus' (requested on other updates have been installed) and I've been very patient with the installation. In other words, I did not have my computer in hibernation / sleep then that it has been updated because it takes a long time. I was finally able to get the update installed.  I have even shut down my computer again to make sure that it does not freeze again.  Not sure why it worked this time.

I assume you actually mean that you have a printer HP Photosmart 8250?

This printer is essentially - not * really * supported by HP to the title of the edition of Windows that you are using.  That's about what I believe it means when you choose the operating system on the Web of HPs site for your printer and you get the, "installation of the product with the USB cable and using the driver located in the Windows operating system _»<-- they="" gave="" some="" generic="" universal="" driver="" to="" microsoft="" for="" distribution="" and="" you="" might="" get="" it="" working,="" but="" it="" may="" not="" have="" all="" the="" features="" you="" used="" to="" have="" in="" an="" other="">

One thing probably listed in these forums is to replace the printer inherited by a support by the manufacturer of equipment under an operating system, that you have chosen to run... That failed?  * smile *.

Honestly - reviews and other for this printer back in 2004 I can say - it means that this printer is old enough (although more recent you).  I'm shocked they kept alive that long, really.  Looking at the Vista drivers and others, later are of March 2007, over 5 years.

I think you you would save a lot of time and invest in a newer printer that is designed to work with modern operating systems, :-) grief

    Hey @rjlx ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv6-3280 ca and problems with compatibility with Windows 10.

If your computer is experiencing problems find and install updates of the operating system, try to use the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the problem.

If this is not enough, you need to restore the laptop to a previous version of Windows.

  • HP pavilion dv6-1030us with windows vista 64 bit have now upgraded to windows7 32 bit.

HP pavilion dv6-1030us originally with windows vista 64 bit have now upgraded to windows7 32 bit. MIC is unable to send sound in Skype after upgradation.

    Hello

    Try the following.

First, uninstall Skype and when it is finished, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and reinstall the Chipset driver here.

Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

Let windows load completely, then download the installer of IDT Audio on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp45001-45500/sp45044.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.

Let Windows load fully, then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

Reinstall Skype and see if the MIC now works Ok.

    Kind regards

  • Pavilion dv6 i3 with Window 7 64-bit. To start the HP logo appears, then I get a black screen

I have a Pavilion dv6 i3 with Window 7 64-bit. To start the HP logo appears, then I get a black screen with a blinking cursor. I ran all the tests start and everything this past. I tried all F8, F9, F10, F11, recovery options with no luck. I tried to start with the ERD Window 7 64 bit I created when I install the laptop. Nothing... I did it with all the disconnected device. No luck. I'm looking for all the options until I re - install windows. I started with the Windows 7 recovery DVD and it reads, but I cancelled the process because it will reformat the hard drive and I expect to work around all the hassels of having settings to reinstall the software, etc.. Any ideas would be welcome.

Thanks for the reply. I already tried these steps. I created a bootable floppy that I can get the data on the hard drive and am trying to restore windows to the recpvery of the DVD system that I ordered with the computer. Thank you

Your computer supports only Windows 7. It is the operating system that is supported.

In fact, Windows 7 is a good choice considering this support of Win 7 Pro/Ultimate/Enterprise virtual XP, called XP Mode. Learn more about it here:
