50.0 Firefox (Ubuntu LTS 16.04) bad redirects me to mobile link from my Bank (Chase) slipped detect my PC as a mobile device. How to fix?

After connect with my username / password for my online banking credentials, the browser redirects me as a mobile device to my PC. I called chase customer and assured me that it is a browser problem because I was able to access the office chase Web site to connect. Also, I could so successfully access the Web site of the complete Office only a few hours ago. I don't know what has changed since then. Help, please!

I note repeated mention of mobile in your chart. However, I don't see the changes to preferences that may be involved in this. I use Ubuntu 16.04, but very probably part of this problem is hardware related.

A most obvious potential solution is to clear the cache and Cookies for the site.

  • Ubuntu LTS 14.04 VMW 11 - network only works correctly if used DHCP on bridged network mode

    I am pretty new to Linux things, so I installed an Ubuntu LTS 14.04 as a LAMP on VMW 11 server.

    The networksettings VM are bridged, so I should be able to access the virtual machine as a normal member of my network:

    Here are the settings when I activated the DHCP and as you can see, the server has no problem to connect to internet. The name is resolved properly and all is well.

    Everything here is the opposite, static ip and no connection. But with the exception of la.130 who changed a.201 everything is identical, but nothing works. Even the host no longer be resolved...

    How did you check for malware? It certainly seems malware-ish. Here's my method to track down and clean the bad Add - ons and other hijackers. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

    Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    (3) check an optional parameters file called user.js in your profile (personal settings folder) folder. Firefox uses the settings in this file at startup to override your preferences since the previous session. Unless you have created this file, it may contains settings of an add-on or external software.     If you find a file named user but not user.js, Windows can hide the extensions of file on your part. To work with files as accurately as possible, I suggest showing all file extensions.     (4) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware.
