  • Fixed problem reading video Firefox

Since at least Firefox version 9, I found that my AOL-Netscape Web page wouldn't play videos. On Google and IE9, I had no problem.

I decided to start Firefox (latest Version) on safe mode and disabled the extensions that I felt would affect video playback. The extension of Ghostery found the cause. I removed the extension and now video reads like a charm. I don't know if other people have had this problem but it fixed mine.

So read your details to do this, it seems that uninstalling Ghostery https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ghostery/ fixed your problem? You can try this reporting to the developer of the add-on, search and maybe out a fix.

Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

Page Web of BBC loads without problems, but when you click on the link to play the video, the screen remains black. For all the videos they post on their news site. Have no problems with playing videos on other sites, commercial or news.

Thank you fancylive and dumdidadida. Problem solved. Flash 11 seems to be the solution. I went through the update of Mozilla plug-ins page and Add ons, and I've updated everything that wasn't. Some versions of Java 32 and 64-bit (not sure if they are related or not) that seem to have popped all my automatic downloads.

  • Reading of FireFox away 'Add-ons' to designed CHROME browser?

Read an article that Firefox is abandonment of modules at the end of the year, and I like CHROME Design... I don't have CHROME... used FF for many years AS... Tell me now if it's where it's position so I can find another browser, please...
    Very sad to hear...

Swirl of rumors, and yet, where are the references to a credible source?

I'm not aware of any changes planned in the near future, except that the end of the year, extensions that are not subject to Mozilla for verification and signature will be no longer allowed to run. However, Firefox will not be locked down for the use of the official website of modules. Publishers will always be able to accommodate extensions signed on their own sites and install them through their own installers.

I wouldn't worry Adobe Reader. If the help > check updates inside your said XI player you are current, as far as I'm concerned, that's fine. Plugin Checker shoot always allows you to get the latest version, but Adobe still provides security for Reader 11 updates, and since the radically different interface of the CD player, certainly, won't that everyone's favorite, I think that will continue for some time.

  • Can I use the new Cat video firefox as a plugin in a website?

I am building an online language learning platform. Part of our feature will be to have a direct communication between teachers and students with the least amount of trouble.
This video of Firefox is great, because teachers and students can share a link within our chat system and start their courses right away, and it will remove an amazing amount of coding hours to have something similar.

Can we sort of personalize this service? Maybe we can work together somehow and support each other? Oh, I can't chat in the video system functionality, I think that this will be a great addition if you can have it in place.

    Thank you.

If you're talking about the featured Hi - don't. Currently, it is a user to another user.

I'm sure that several features will be added in the future.

Could not find a way to search for text in a PDF document, when it is displayed by the PDF reader integrated into Firefox.

  • How to open the files .dll automatically with Adobe Reader via Firefox?

    Hello

When I print labels eBay via Firefox, a .dll file is downloaded. This used to automatically open in Adobe Reader, but now it opens as a text document in TextEdit, so I have to manually open Adobe Reader, change the options to display "all files", then find the .dll file and open it.

When I try to change the default application in the preferences of Firefox, I can't find anything with the content type "dll".

Is there a way to have Firefox automatically opens files .dll with Adobe Reader?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  • Can I paste a sessionstore.js from Firefox 27.0.1 (XP) in 28 Firefox (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

I saved my wife since Firefox 27.0.1 tabs (XP) and installed Ubuntu 12.04 and 28 of Firefox. Now my life depends on my being able to restore its tabs. I am new to Ubuntu and I can't seem to find where sessionstore.js. I turned on the hidden files, nothing helps. I seem to be missing something.

Sytem sessiorestore of note Firefox tends to be a bit fragile. Try to don't rely on it any more. At least make sure that all important pages are my favorites.

Firefox sync can help, but it is also pretty bad subject. Firefox sync can improve Firefox 29 with new accounts of Firefox, but personally I would not depend on either. Firefox sync can also scramble Favorites, so make sure that you not only favorite, but also make a manually backup your bookmarks.

The lifeline, the simplest method is to open the profile of the option in a running Firefox troubleshooting information page. Close Firefox and find the files to be copied.

Note that Windows does not always display the names of file .js extension that you may need to check that the Windows options are set to display the dot file name extensions.
