  As you don't declare that you tried, I am unable to say where you went wrong. Here is a method to promote the accounts without going through the various GUI screens:
  1 restart in SafeMode with network.
  2. log on as an administrator.
  3. click on start.
  4. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
  5. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
  6. click on "run as Administrator".
  7. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
  NET user
  (This will show you all existing accounts)
  net localgroup administrators 'xxxx '.
  (This will encourage user xxxx to Administrator status. Replace xxxx with the correct name account).

  You updated Lightroom to version 6.5? This is the version you need. What is the exact wording of the message you receive?

  This camera required Camera raw 9.2 or higher (see supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices )

  You need to convert raw files to DNG, then you could treat in Bridge/Photoshop.Refer using Photoshop | Digital negative converter Adobe 9.x

  For the problem of camera raw, every new device has its own raw format, and ACR must be updated to include the latter. Happened yet for the d5500 has been added, so you'll just have to use the Nikon software until Adobe gets the info and releases an updated version of ACR. It is not uncommon to be in your situation, if you buy a camera model that was only a month. You just wait a bit.

  Please follow the steps below:

  1 - restart your machine and kindly reset your Host file. See, Advanced solutions to errors in connection with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications

  2. Please check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to Mcafee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)

  3 disable the firewall on your machine.

  Hope I have write in the good forum.  My question is about ACR, LR and Psalm

  I upgraded from LightRoom 4.1 4.2 with cab 7.2.  I also use PhotoShop 5 with cab 6.7.

  My workflow includes the processing of raw files in LR.  If I suspect that an image can benefit from Photoshop, I'll do a quick "Ctrl E" (edit in Photoshop) without first made, just to see if it is possible to improve. Sometimes, there is nothing to gain from the PS tour, in which case I simply close the PS and continue work in LR.  If the image is intended only to print, I can postpone indefinitely convert raw to tiff or jpg format, because I feel of LR.

  Now, with various components Camera RAW in LR 4.2 (CR 7.2) and 5 PS (CR 6.7), 'Ctrl E' opens a dialogue that includes the options for "Rendered using Lightroom" and "open anyway."  I would rather not make before going in the PS because I don't want to follow and eventually remove these conversions that are unnecessary...

  I tried "Open Anyway" on a couple of images and my eyes look accurate images - even in LR and Psalm I used older cameras - Canon 5 d 2, G11 - that are available in the two versions of ACR.

  Can I get trouble by opening a LR 4.2 edited raw in PS 5 If both versions of ACR supports my cameras?

  ACR 6.7 (used by Photoshop CS5) can not read all the changes by using Lightroom 4.2. This is why you are given the option to render using Lightroom. That record will create a TIFF or PSD file that contains changes made in Lightroom. It's the only way you will be able to get all your settings from Lightroom in Photoshop CS5. This has been a standard procedure with all versions of Lightroom and Photoshop when Lightroom is more recent. In my opinion, your best option is to go forward and rendered using Lightroom and if you don't like the result when you return to Lightroom just delete the new file.
