  Well, you do not upgrade to CS6. It is a few years old. But suppose you have tutorial that shows a CS6 interface and you want to run CS6 to be on the same page.  Your CC membership allows you to install and use the CS6.

  Here's how get you it. In earlier Versions, choose CS6 in the menu the installation menu and you'll get it. I keep a copy for CS6 related issues.

  Yes, it seems that your activation is not is defined as Ps Extended CS6, that is why all the 3D features are not present.

  You can try to go to help > deactivate... and then clicking "deactivate permanently". Now quit Ps and revival; You should get the page of the contract of mandate. Re-enter serial number when it asks you if you want to license, and then make sure the 3D menu is displayed. (I have abbrieviated steps)

  Athlon XP?  Who can't stand actually in the minimum characteristics, because it lacks several sets of instructions (and is really, really old).

  Photoshop shouldn't crash if.  We had a problem like this before and had trouble finding even machines to test it on because the processor is so old.
