Previously he was not even a full 10 seconds to close.

  My laptop is not obstructed by installed apps. Apps only I use is Eclipse, Android, Google Chrome, web browser emulator, VirtualBox to run a copy of Ubuntu and FlashGet to download from the internet.

It feels sharp and fast while using it all the time. But the problem is whenever I try to turn it off.
