  As you probably know that Toshiba will not support all models of laptop computers and all the Win8 support info you can find on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/generic/windows8-message
  Exact list of models supported, that you can find, if you open the Toshiba compatibility matrix.

  You can install the version of Win8 own to see how it works and also try to use some specific Toshiba tools available for new models of portable computers. Right now on this forum we don t have much feedback about Win8 on older models of laptops.

  I installed a new copy of XP on a Satellite Pro A300. I'm looking for all the XP drivers for this machine. I found some drivers on the Toshiba site (LAN, audio), but Device Manager has the following list of devices without drivers

  But unfortunately; the XP drivers are not availbel for this good old classic;

  However, you should look for in the area of the ARCHIVE.

  Check the driver page and choose:
  Archive-> Satellite Pro-> 43xx Pro Satellite-> Satellite Pro 4340

  It seems that the sound card chip is Yamaha...
  Google for maybe audio driver Yamaha that you will find something.

  All that seems page driver Toshiba does not provide drivers W2k for this new notebook but don t give up DUDE ;)

  I was visiting my friend in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, it has a Toshiba Satellite U500 - 1F4 Laptop, the subtemplate is PSU9ME-OOCOOXAR

  On eBay you can find so many keyboards. Just find one for U500 and it will fit for sure.

  You use the preinstalled version of Vista or did you do your own installation? The key on the lower side belongs to the pre-installed Windows version and t can be used with other versions.

  If you are using the factory settings, this message shouldn't t appear. Did you install additional software or tools?
  You should try a system restore to an earlier point in this case. Maybe it helps

  I have a Toshiba Satellite C855-1KP, part PSKCAE-04600QG5 number, and I can't find the driver wireless on the web.
  I scanned my laptop TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic toll-free and appear to the network:

  Network Realtek RTL8723AE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC = version = MAC address

  All my drivers I downloaded from www.Toshiba.com, all worked, except the wireless driver.

  I tried already some wireless drivers from Intel (Intel PRoSet/Wireless Software and the Intel PRoSet/Wireless WiMAX software), but they give me an error that I couldn't solve (the WiMAX adapter was missing, and the error code was 0 x 302).

  I don't know what else to do. Please help me if you can.
