970 GTX unsupported? After effects error: drawn in the 3D Department: Initial shader compilation failed (5070: 2)

I am disappointed that my MSI GTX 970 is not supported for 3D ray-traced in Adobe after effects CC 2014.
My configuration:
Intel Core i7 4790 k 4.4 GHz
8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM (fix 16 GB soon)

I don't have the option "Enable CPU untested, not taken in charge for acceleration or traced to the 3D renderer Ray CUDA" but when I have him allow, I get an error saying:
"After effects error: drawn in the 3D Department: Initial shader compilation failed." (5070:: 2) ".

then

"After Effects Error: drawn in the 3D Department: unable to create the context for Raytracer (5070: 2)" "

then another

"After Effects Error: drawn in the 3D Department: paged memory mapped to a Raytracer." Your project may exceed the limits of the GPU. Close other applications. Try to update the CUDA driver. (5070:: 2) '

I have the latest Nvidia driver. Anyway to fix this? Or I have to wait for Adobe support my GPU?

I'd suggest ditching forced the C4D and ray traced rendering engine instead of use: Details of CINEMA 4 d with After Effects integration

I mean, it's more powerful and it's free!

If you absolutely need to use ray-traced rendering engine, what are you trying to use it on? Try it with only a layer of simple form you need to do 3d just to eliminate the problems of others, possibly complications, a project. What CC 2014 version are you running? 13.1? 13.2?

Don't forget, Adobe is never going to add to the list supported for rendering engine raytraced as they develop is more this feature.

  • Cannot return: after effects error: failure of the internal audit. What can I do?

I need to render a model (defaults to h.264) and the process is terminated with the following error: "after effects error: failure of internal audit, sorry! {could not find itemframe earlier, we checked in} ».

What can I do? I tried to restart Ae several times. The rendering stops at random points, when started again. The model is very simple: a background of movie mp4, PNG images fixed one after the other with opacity and editing texts and write-on 1 mask at their side, explaining the images. Thanks in advance for any help.

Use Adobe Media Encoder to change the background of the MP4 in a proper production codec (QuickTime with the Photo-JPEG codec would be a good thing.)

Replace with the MOV MP4 and see if it works.

  • Titan GTX in after effects & Premiere CS6

GTX Superclocked Titan now running in OS X 10.8.3 using the latest driver NVIDIA's Web (313.01.01f03) and CUDA Driver Version 5.0.59.

I changed both the file "cuda_supported_cards.txt" for Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.2) and the "raytracer_supported_cards.txt" file for after effects CS 6 (11.0.2) to enter the "GeForce GTX TITAN."

First recognize the card very well and is able to exploit the Titan for it's Mercury Playback Engine Acceleration (CUDA) GPU. However, After Effects reports the following error during startup:

After effects error: drawn in the 3D Department: Initial shader compilation failed (5070: 0)

Mylenium treats the error in detail here:

    http://myleniumerrors.com/2013/01/06/5070-0-3/

Remove the "GeForce GTX TITAN" the file "raytracer_supported_cards.txt" resolves the error message, however, this obviously makes the Titan useless for any acceleration traced to the RADIUS using the Titan.

Any thoughts on why After Effects reports this error (even if the first is likely to enable Cuda with the Titan) and what could be the solution?

One final note, even with the start-up error, After Effects reports successfully Titan GTX under information GPU (see image below)

    GPU_Information.png

The TITAN GTX is added to the list of maps that After Effects will use for accelerating GPU of the raytraced 3D rendering engine in the update for after effects CC (12.1), that comes out.

    Hello

I recently bought a new laptop with i7, 16 GB of RAM and GTX860M 4 GB processor graphics card to be able to launch After Effects smoothly. I wanted to take advantage of the
Feature of the traced the ray but once 3D rendering engine that I pass to it I instantly get three consecutive messages:

    1. after effects error: drawn in the 3D Department: Initial shader compilation failed (5070: 12)

I installed the latest CUDA driver, I even added my card in the raytracer_supported_cards.txt file, but the meassage always pop up. In the Panel of previev my specifications of card shows correctly

(as shown on the picture as an attachment)

That seems to be the problem - I have a decent map with lots of RAM Nvidia so I expect it must support a feature of 3d rendering engine.
For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

  • AFTER EFFECTS ERROR: INTERNAL VERIFICATION FAILURE, SORRY {NO CONTEXT}

Untitled.pngIt appears on my after effects CC 2015.2, 13.7.1.6 product version! Put to day the most recent update, thinking he can fix but nope. Happens far when I use the Plugin BCC9 'LED '. Don't know what to do. Never had this error before today. Other BCC plugins work very well and some just work and then a few seconds later it will say my after effects has crashed, but the plugins worked perfectly fine before and all my other plugins work excellent as well with the exception of "Toon It" of the universe of Red Giant that there is simply nothing.

It's probably a problem with the plugin and that is likely to do with the enormous changes of AE.

As you may (or may not), AE CC 2015 is the first step in a major redesign of the architecture, separating the rendering engine from the user interface for the first time in the history of AE 20 + years. It is a big job (and it's clearly still ongoing). It is a necessary step to improve the performance of After Effects, but it takes awhile (and versions) for them to pass through it.

Some of the plugins had to be rewritten to deal with the new architecture works. So if you don't use the latest version of the plugin, you'll want to download the latest installer, remove your old version and install a new one. If you don't have the latest version, you may need to upgrade.

Alternatively, you can use an older version of AE. HOWEVER, don't go back to CS6. Install CC 2014 and see how the plugin works there (here's how to install older through the CC app versions). During this period of transition as the AE team sets up the elements of the new architecture, it is sometimes easier to use the old version to do a job. Many people bounce between CC 2014 and 2015 CC. (The project files are compatible between the two versions, by the way.) I do it because CC 2015 is not a replacement for multiprocessing yet, so I'll work in 2015 CC (to take advantage of the more lively interaction) and then I'll make in 2014 CC to use multiprocessing.

In any case, if you have the latest installer, and it works always not in 2015 of CC, I'm sure that people of the ICC wants to know your problem (as would the AE team). So, if it does not work after trying the latest version, I would say that you produce with both of them bug reports. Here is the link to the Adobe bug report form.

  • After effects error: the Photoshop file format error (- 1). (45: 35)

After Effects worked PERFECTLY for me earlier today. Now, he won't cooperate.
I only use AE to correct the colors and the rendering/export short sequences to use first or Final Cut...
Im working with DNG that have been converted from MLV files, sequences (I use the video hack gross magic lantern on a 5 dm 3).

Out of nowhere, whenever I try to import any DNG sequences, sequences of CR2, CR2 or DNG files, I get this error...

After effects error: the Photoshop file format error (- 1). (45: 35)

No matter which set of DNGS I open gives me error. Ive tried re-conversion of several files MLV (perhaps there were corrupt officials?) and their import again, but no luck.

Ive tried uninstalling AE and re installation with no luck.
I tried the updated Camera Raw to the latest version with no luck too. (Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh)

Does anyone know why AE would simply stop working with my DNG sequences all of a sudden?
It makes absolutely no sense to me.

(Running on a macbook pro end 2013)

Well, after 4 hours of trying to understand this point, I did.
Including use of that Camera Raw 9.5 it won't work with AE. 9.1 will alone.
Still doesn't explain why it has just stopped working in the first place well...

  • After effects error: error in file Photoshop 3415 (45: 35)

I just installed after effects CC 2015 today and then installed an update to After Effects dealing with Adobe Camera Raw. I am running Windows 7. Now I cannot import .dng filmed on the Blackmagic film camera in After Effects. CAB opens and shows me the first image in the DNG sequence very well but when I close the ADR I get the error message:

After effects error: 3415 Photoshop file format error.

  • Drawn in the 3D Department slow to render After Effects CS6

I use After Effects CS6, but when I try to use drawn in the 3D Department is really slow to make my project. My computer is really fast with more than 12 GB memory and processor xeon. The system is really very fast with other programs. My graphics card is the most up-to-date. Help, please!

Update! updates for Adobe Media Encoder, Premiere Pro, After Effects, prelude, hearing and SpeedGrade You are missing some very important bugfixes for the AE. CS6 should be version 11.0.4 not 11.0.0.x

This page lists all of the GPU that are certified to work with the ray-traced rendering engine in AE: system requirements | After Effects there are a number of Web pages out there that guide you through a 'hack' that helps the AE to use NVIDIA GPUs which are not on this list to make them speed up the ray-traced rendering engine. You might consider to go that route. It is not technically supported by Adobe, but it is unlikely that cause damage to try it. Just make sure you make a backup copy of all the files that you are changing.

Otherwise, you might consider upgrading to version 12 or 13 After effects that come with Cinema 4 d for free! Details of CINEMA 4 d with After Effects integration

Add more RAM would be not bad either (it only would not help for this current problem, but 12 GB on the low end for the work of EI in general).

  • After effects error: Preview RAM needs 2 or more images for playback.

Hey all, I recently had this problem with my Adobe after effects (Version 13.2.0.49) CC. I had this on my previous version and after the update to the latest version of the software, I always get the 'After Effects error: Preview RAM needs 2 or more images for playback' each time I try preview RAM. I also have completely uninstalled and reinstalled AE and attempted to purge the of memory, but I still don't have the same error.

Another question (not sure whether or not it is related to the error of RAM Preview?), is that when I press the play button, the green bar that is usually created at the playhead appears for 1 frame, then goes immediately after the playhead moves to the next frame.

  • After effects error: could not convert Unicode characters. (23::46) CS6

Hello I just created a project in AE CC and wanted to also save a version for CS6.

Everything went well but when I tried to open the project in CS6 I received the following error message:

«After effects error: could not convert Unicode characters.» (23::46) »

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

After effects CC is much, much better handling of the characters that are outside the defined character used by the operating system to its current settings of the language. Thus, the file names and paths (and other channels) which operate very well in after effects CC and later may fail with older versions.

For example, if you run your operating system and applications in English and Chinese characters in your file names, After Effects CS6 and earlier will fail, but after effects CC and earlier will succeed.
