9900 and 9930 simulators

I am having trouble with the size of the screen of the new simulators 9900 and 9930. If I put the body size using:

document.body.style.height = screen.height + "px";
document.body.style.width = screen.width + "px";

The size of the body ends up larger than the screen of simulators. Screen.width and Screen.Height return however the correct sizes. If I take this part of the exit code, and set the width of only 100% the size of the screen is correct. Has anyone experience this problem on the 9900 and 9930 simulators? The OS 5 and OS 6 simulators work very well.

Thank you.

Hello:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Bold 9900 and 9720 cannot find the enterprise activation

    Hi all

I'm trying to set up an Enterprise Activation for one of our users overseas. She has two phones 'BB Bold 9900 and BB 9720'.  It doesn't have the enterprise activation option.  I asked him to download the activation request to company "App World", but after downloading, he said that the software is not supported. Here, I'm puzzled.

Currently I set him up with Exchange Activesync, but it is my understanding that will not synchronize calendars and contacts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated here.

First of all, ActiveSync will not work on a Bold 9900 or 9720. You need BES to use Activation of the company.

Second, service of many plans you need for a BES plan for Enterprise Activation menu. You will need to make sure that his wireless service plan supports BES. Many are personal plans only, and EA is not supported.

    Hope that helps.

  • Dissappearing requests for OS7 all and some simulators OS6 after reboot

    Hello

Applications that I load into some simulators to disappear in the menu after I closed and reopened the Simulator. Files saved as notes vocal files will remain on the filesystem through the Simulator interrupts and refills. Applications and persistent stored data disappear.  The problem seems to occur only on simulators for the current generation of BBs. These are simulators which lose applications:

    9330/6.0.0.436

    9850/7.0.0.144

    9850/7.0.0.261

    9810/7.0.0.261

On simulators and other devices, this problem is not upward. I use both the 6.0 and 7.0 compilers and stock BB d (without hesitation).

I don't mind reload the application but I fear not enter data that must be stored persistently. If the problem persists, I will not consider writing an application that loads the persisted data in the store, but I really want to do. Anyone know a solution to this?

    Thank you

    Scott

What version of Windows are you using?  Is - what the Simulator have access to write to the directory, they are installed in?  Also, check that you have not activated BlackBerry JDE settings that erase/reset memory when simulators start.  To check click on the Edit menu, choose Preferences, select the Simulator tab, choose one of the Simulator is you listed and then click the memory tab.  Check any of the boxes that erases the memory at startup are checked.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9900 UMA smartphones?

    Hi guys,.

Sorry if this has been requested may already, see booster signal UMA on the 9900 specs, I was wondering if this is a feature included as I intend to do next week when my upgrade is due on my contract. Also while I am here I noticed none of the UK suppliers do the 9930, is there a particular reason for this, and much of a difference does make? I noticed that the 9930 is what is considered a 'phone' and is not the 9900, which does not imply that the 9930 will get a carrier signal in more countries than the 9900?

    Thanks in advance,

    Craig

I read that there no UMA and leaking Tmobile U.S. image today advice he could come later.

So, are not currently, at least.

The only difference in the 9900 and 9930 is the 9930 includes bands of CDMA network that make it usable on carriers like Verizon in the United States.

  • How to use blackBerry smartphones blackberry "bold" 3

I m the site request http://mobileinindia.in that "BOLD" of 3 videocalling. .. and this website says Yes... thn administrater I buy it... but I don't know how to operate videocalling... Help, please

I went to this site. The Bold 9900 (and 9930) have video calls, but because they have not been released, again, we cannot tell you how to use it. I hear the liberation is close (I can't wait), but not here yet (to the United States, in any case - I don't know anywhere else, but I have several contacts in various places, and no one spoke it is available, yet.).

  • Questions classic blackBerry Blackberry Classic compared to the features and functions of the Bold 9900

I am extremely satisfied with the functionality of my Blackberry Bold 9900 and yet I am fun the idea of upgrading to a classic Blackberry and had a few questions, some of them functional, but one of them is technical:

    (1) I have granularily configured different contacts to the ring through "silent" while some people may sound through if I'm having a NAP or sleep. The classic allows you granularily configure the option of 'ring through' on a manually configured silent mode?

    (2) can the classic surely go to sleep and wake up one day of week / weekend schedule? My current phone doesn't sleep at midnight and wake up at 06:00 every night of the week and 02:00 to 09:00 on weekends.

    (3) back in the day of Blackberry older had a view "of today" where you could see the incoming email and tasks on the main screen. I couldn't get that with my Bold 9900, but I found this interesting app called BePopup which jumps to the top of my texts and emails on the screen as they come, without touching a button. Can you get automatically posted emails or texts with that with the classic?

    (4) the Blackberry plan I have with my provider uses the platform communications for my Blackberry RIM and so my e-mails are immediate, arriving minutes always quicker than other CC (iPhone and Android users) distribution lists. That being said, is the new classic uses what platform these other phones use for messaging connectivity?

Any feedback regarding these essential functions would be greatly appreciated as it will help me in my decision. I am very happy with my 9900 and have little reason to upgrade... unless all of these options are available.

1.) Yes, you can see: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/67769/alc1334332742901.jsp

2.) I don't think that this feaure is available, I'm not quite sure

(3.) I'm not familiar with the view "today." To develop?

Yes 4). 10 blackBerry smartphones requires more BIS data plan. Given regular or WiFi will work.

  • Frustrated with the bold blackBerry 9900 smartphones and BlackBerry® E-mail

I just bought a Bold 9900 and had my old BB dumped on my new "BOLD". However, I knew that I would have to set up ALL my email all accounts again. But I am a positive type of gal so I started to redo the settings. However my frustration hit the wall when I tried to set up my OLD blackberry e-mail address on the new "BOLD". When I type in my old address the message says: "the username is not valid. A username must begin with a letter or a number. It can contain letters, numbers, underscores, dashes, and period characters. "So it seems that my email address can be ANYTHING that I want that it either, which is just MY OLD BB email address (for reasons of continuity evident with established contracts) andmy old E-mail begins with a LETTER!

My other emails were put in place, but the blackberry e-mail makes me mental. Anyone? Help, please?

Happened to me also (Bell 9900) I called the bell customer service and they reset my e-mail account of bb in about 5 minutes.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9900 Smartphones randomly it recharges

Hello world. A couple of weeks, I swapped my 9630 for a 9900 and love it, but recently the device did random resets soft without apparent reason. First of all, it happened when I was dubugging thereon, now it happens during ordinary usage.

Software V.7.0.0.261 of device is very glitchy. The version of Rogers has caused a number of headaches for me, more particularly complete and random signal loss. I could be next to the tower and the phone would lose the signal.

I had updated firmware update and it's stable now - no more signals drops. Reportedly, it is not so difficult to update firmware, too afraid to do it myself, but it there are instructions on the internet how to upgrade the firmware.

  • BlackBerry Q10 think about upgrading 9900 to Q10 - have 2 accounts Office 365 - all problems

Currently have a 9900 and am evaluating whether to upgrade to a Q10.

Carrier through TMobile, with BBCS in Office 365 e-mail accounts and one account Office 365 by TMobiles BIS.

What I give myself to understand, Q10 works with EAS, how it works with multiple accounts Office365?

Also understand that there are problems with synch EAS causing Exchange to enter the locking of the device for 10 minutes. This problem has been fixed.

How the Q10 will work with a shared calendar Office 365? Eternal problem for mobile devices, are there special apps developed for the Q10 allow access? We do not run Sharepoint.

    Appreciate the answers.

    Thank you. Tom.

Well it does not really a default value in the hub, you will have all your accounts, when you dial, you can bring the account to send from or if you only see one account he chooses the one to send.

Calendar is separated by colors, and when you make a new appointment you just choose which calendar it is posted to.

Even with contacts, even if I found it annoying that when I add or change a contact on the Q10, it removes the category in Outlook and changes my sort of first/last to the last/first.

Battery life is ok, I disable the LTE radio as I did not have that kind of speed to watch just the emails and contacts and allows the battery life much.

    I hope this helps.
