A 64-bit microsoft Office 2010 will run on an os Vista 32 bit?

I bought office 2010 to run on my computer laptop windows 7 and I would add to my Vista PC operating system, but it gives the error cannot run on a 32 bit OS.

You want to know if this program is compatible to run on the Vista operating system.

It will not work on 32-bit. You need 64-bit windows.

Office updates may fail if the update files, look for the original installation files. Sometimes the complete file download remedies this problem or put the installation media in the installation drive can also help. If still no, you may need to do a repair installation.

  • Adobe Presenter in Adobe eLearning Suite 2 and Microsoft Office 2010 installation

I need help to install the Adobe Presenter software. I have E-Learning Suite 2 and Microsoft Office 2010. The rest of the complete Installation of E-Learning has been made, including Adobe Presenter. When I navigate to the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Presenter 7 Installer for eLS 2\7.0\en_US files and try to install the adobe_presenter_patch_v701.exe file it asks for a serial number. I enter the serial number of the E-Learning Suite in the box, but she did not accept the serial number.

I did a google search on it and got the below link:

    l http://blogs.adobe.com/Captivate/2010/09/MS-PowerPoint-2010-support-in-Adobe-Presenter.htm

I downloaded 2 patches of the viz Adobe Presenter 7.0.1 update link and Adobe Presenter 7.07 below updated and tried to run. Which failed.

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=153 & Platform = Windows

Can someone offer you please help in this as to what patches to download and run.

The Microsoft Office installed on my system is a 32-bit.

If you want to use the presenter 7.0.6 (note that it is an Action Script 2 [AS2] application and will not work live Connect, or any other AS3 application), you must follow the steps described here: http://helpx.adobe.com/presenter/kb/install-presenter-7-office-2010.html

If you want to use the presenter 7.0.7 (AS3), it's a stand alone Installer, and previous versions of the presenter must be uninstalled everything first. The steps to install 7.0.7 can be found here: http://helpx.adobe.com/presenter/kb/upgrade-presenter-7-0-6.html

  • Delete "Check for Updates" Microsoft Office 2010 - GPO

I'm working on the packaging of various components of Microsoft Office 2010, such as the shared components, the Office Software Protection Platform Service, Visio (all flavors) and project (Standard and Pro).  I wanted to delete "Check for Updates" in the Help menu.  I installed the Office administrative templates on my machine to capture, added models to gpedit.msc and open administration-> Microsoft Office 2010 templates-> disable UI elements-> "disable the commands on the file tab | Help»  I ran a prescan, then I activated the strategy, checked the box to remove the "Check for Updates" and click OK.

I open Visio and checked that the 'Check for Updates' button is greyed out.  I closed my Visio and performed a scan of post and saved the project.  I looked in all the files in the registry text.  I pulled the text below in the file HKEY_CURRENT_USER.txt, added to the lower part of the same file in my project of exisitng Visio, run build.bat, cleared out the old sandbox, launched Visio, and the button is grayed.

My question: this application will encounter problems with Group Policy objects, or the complete isolation on these entries mode settings will be sufficient to keep the setting?

Here is the text of registry I captured and added (also included in the attached text file):

If specified in your package (in the virtual environment) it will be used. Something virtual will win all the conflicts with local elements (in this case deployed GPO registry keys). If you specify a setting normally applied GPOS in your package there no way to replace it by using Group Policy objects...

  • I downloaded the latest plugin for Microsoft Office 2010. The Plugin Check page still lists it. Why?

The Plugin Check page lists Microsoft Office 2010 with a search button. I clicked and I was redirected to a page where I would like to download the Microsoft 2010 plugin. I thought I did it (with a bunch of unnecessary waste). I went to the Plugin Check page and Microsoft Office 2010 was still there. Why?

Mozilla only stores the details of the latest version of a small number of plugins, these being the most widely used plugins such as Flash and Adobe Acrobat. For these plugins analysis will show if you have the latest version.

For other plugins, including the Microsoft Office plugin, Mozilla does not have details of the latest version and instead it displays a search button, that when clicked will perform a Google search. It displays the search button even if you have the latest version of the plugin.
