  Support for HARD drives and capacities are listed in Chapter 3, page 3-25.

  Personally, I think you could install a SATA II 320 GB to your laptop.  Maybe even a 500 GB.

  You could also probably install a drive of 7 200 rpm for better performance or if the battery life between charges is more important for you, then stick with a disk of 5 400 rpm.

  Active Dell stylus is compatible with the Dell 8 5830 site and should not be a problem.  Here are the instructions to replace the battery:

  

  If the version of your coming 8 Pro was 3945 which uses a capacitive sensor instead of an active digitizer as the 5830 fact there is probably nothing wrong with the stylus, and you can try a capacitive stylus.

  If you have not a 5830 please let me know if replacing the battery did not help, he needs an AAAA battery.

  Jeffry, you can technically use a capacitive stylus to draw, but as you found they will move only the mouse around the screen, just like your finger on a touchscreen computer or a trackpad.

  The pen that you use is better suited for an iOS or Android mobile device. Touch Photoshop and Adobe ideas are well adapted to the drawing with a capacitive stylus.

  If you are serious about drawing on your computer, I would recommend a Wacom tablet, which is the industry standard (I use an average size of the Intuous 5 Touch).

I managed to download the Mac of Wacom drivers, but there is no manual in the form available on the Wacom site .pdf. My experience has been with an Art Pad 2 and 7 of PShop many years ago.

  If herein, others recommend bamboo I'll buy one instead.

  Do not let the Macbook however give the wrong impression. It was a gift of the family Christmas. Cameras and photography are easy for me (the first camera was Brownie Hawkeye in 1946), but not if the end of the computer of things. The stylus on the Art Pad was also easier on my year old arthritic joints. Because then things slowly and progressively worsen. Boy that I ramble on I don't.

  It really depends what you do with it, and a large part of the framework has changes in the operating system for how the application is designed to run in. Your workflow can cause problems when the application works for others or you might be able to use it, but keep in mind has more no support for CS5 Adobe or Apple, so do not expect to solve any problems that you can discover.
