HP 15 f337wm: 15 Hp f337wm memory update

I was wondering if it is possible to update the ram it has 1 4 gb DIMMs can it be upgraded to 8 GB or more? He says he has 2 units.

Yes. It can be upgraded to 8 GB.  For best results, it is highly recommended that you upgrade only in memory single or double configuration of the module (absolutely identical!). The 6 GB configuration described below has been carried out by HP and tested in a laboratory for quality assurance.

    Hello

I have a Satellite Pro R50-B-12u with 4 GB of RAM.
I bought a 4 GB of additional RAM stick but can not see how adapt you it.

My last Satellite Pro had a memory of flap at the back, but everything I see on the back is about 20 screws but no flap!

Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Satellite R50 does not separate memory Bay.
The memory modules and slots are hidden under the hood.

To have access to modules, the cover must be removed.
But I wouldn't recommend doing this because it would negate the warranty!

I guess that your warranty is still valid and in this case only the authorized technician must perform these updates to keep the warranty valid.

  • HP dc 7900 sff memory update

Hello, this week the team here helped me to update my BIOS for my Compaq HP DC 7900 SFF. I have four available memory slots, and the computer's specifications say that it can have a total of 16 GB of memory. I could not find the specifications of the type of memory should I use.

Can anyone here point me in the right direction for a memory upgrade?

    Thank you in advance,

    Peace,

    Mark

Thank you as always, I paid 90 million dollars for the dc 7900 with 4 GB of ram, burner light scribe, two core 8400 processor. 250 GB hard drive, only really bad thing is that each of the modules 4 memory are a different speed, and it comes up as unknown. I think that this computer can only run as fast as the module of memory of slowese. I'll probably get 4 GB memory and keep it for now, it works great and I like it better than my gateway 560 Gr. I am running windows 7 ultra 64-bit. and I'm happy. I think that if I change the memory, it will peform better year and the next update to the hp 8200. They go for about $300 used on e - bay, and hp/compaq has always been my brand.

  • HP Envy Touchsmart Sleekbook 4: HP Envy Touchsmart Sleekbook 4 memory update will see 16 GB of RAM

I purc hased and installed 16 GB of RAM in both slots of memory available. Only 8 GB is visible (updated 4 GB). The HP Envy Sleekbook Maintenance and Service Guide HP Envy TouchSmart c03599931.pdf says on page 2 that the system supports 16 GB of RAM. When I go into the BIOS Setup, I can not change the amount of memory, which only shows 8 GB. How can I see all the 16GB?

BIOS options are not editable, for those who do not help. I did remove the lower cover, reinstall the DIMM modules, and that seems to have solved the problem. Thank you!

  • Dell Optiplex 780 memory update does not

    1. I have purchase Dell Optiplex 780 supplied with memory DDR3 8 GB (4x2Go). I wanted to update so I bought 4 GB RAM (4x1Go) and tried to install it today. The diagnostic lights Dell on 3 and 4, which means that the memory is detected, but at fault. Now, I doubt that this new module of memory are defective. Here's what I did to solve problems:

I took the original strips and installed a new. There are 4 DIMM and I tried to put it in all the 4 connectors DIMM one, but my PC will not start and shows the Dell diagnostic lights lit 3 and 4. then I put my original RAMS but still the same problem has happened that I also tried the two Rams Original one by one in all the slots but same question :(

I also tried without installed memory but still Dell lights lit diagnostic 3 and 4 and no beep heard.

Can someone help me what is the problem real?

    Hi Danish_smartpk,

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum.

If the 3 and 4 diagnostic lights are lit, it is code modules of memory detected, but a memory failure that occurred. You also mentioned that there is not only no beeps no heard when no memory is installed. When no memory is detected by the system, it emits beep codes indicating the same.  If the motherboard is not beep when no memory is installed, it could indicate failure systemboard.

It is generally recommended that the BIOS updated before the new memory being installed. In addition, your computer supports a maximum of 8 GB of RAM DDR3 SDRAM (memory non - ECC only). If it already came with 8 GB of memory, it would not take an additional upgrade.

  • iMac RAM memory update

    Hello!

I have an iMac 27 "(mid 2011) with four memory RAM locations." Two locations are the original memory of 2 GB (4 GB total). Now, I bought two 4 GB memory. Can I put these new memories in the free slots, or do I have to remove first the 'old' and put new ones in place? The 'old' works with the new?

Simply put the new ram in the empty slots. There is no advantage to win by moving the ram of origin.

  • Memory update by Satellite L300-1 has 3

I have a L300-1 to 3 with 4 GB of Ram. Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Edition. I would like to know if I can improve memory in modules of 2 x 4 GB?
    Colin

    Hello

You can use 4 GB RAM max. This means that you can use the memory 2 x 2 GB DDR2 (800 MHz) RAM modules.

    Welcome them

  • After the memory update satellite L20-206 shows only 1 GB

    Hello, could someone tell me:
Ive had 2 modules of 512 RAM (Samsung) & 256 Hynix. After that I decided to install 1024 Mb (Crucial (Micron), Bios, and OS doest see 256 MB module - 1024 MB only.

The same photo that I install 1024 MB + 512 MB. I already flashed with the new Bios - it did not help.
But the utillity CPU - Z in Windows recongnizes modules 2 in both cases?

P.S. Should I install the same module as my Crucial (Micron) or my laptop supports no more than 1 GB?

Now, using a 1024 module, well enough, but maybe in the future, I would like to have more.

Well, it's very strange because the L20-206 could be upgraded to 2 GB max memory!
In this case, you can use the modules of memory 2x1024Mo!

The laptop should recognize two modules installed! But maybe the two modules aren't compatible? In any case, I advise to use the same modules with the same specifications.
I found a few modules recommended by Toshiba. So maybe you want to use these:
    512 MB DDR2-400/533 (PA3412U - 1 M 51)
    1 GB OF DDR2 400/533 (PA3411U-1M1G)

I wonder if I can put the Samsung PC2-5300 DDR2 - 667 MHz memory that I take a laptop another on my Toshiba. His trunk? or not good idea?

I hope someone can give me an abou this ;)

    Thks

Why shouldn´t would be a good idea? I mean if your machine needs DIMM PC2-5300 and you have a few available doesn´t then there is a problem. It is important to doesn´t if you take the memory from another machine.

If the memory of another machine works and you feel familiar to Exchange then do.

    That's all.

  • HP dv6500 memory update

    Hello

I currently have 2 GB (1GBx2) memory in my hp dv6500. I'm looking to upgrade to 4 GB (2GBx2).

According to http://www.memorystock.com/memory/HewlettPackardPavilionDV6500.html, there are two possible options:

    The '2048 MB800 MHz DDR2-800 PC2-6400, SODIMM 200 p, 1.8V"(underlining) and the" "2048 MB667 MHz DDR2-667 PC2-5300, SODIMM 200 p, 1.8V"»

I'm sure that memory, I have now is at 667 MHz and it's what my current processor will support. However, I plan to upgrade my CPU to the T5900, which will help to 800 MHz. My question is, I can use the memory at 800 MHz, or I have to use memory 667 MHz? I could not find information on my motherboard...

    Hello:

I would like to get the memory at 800 MHz, but it doesn't matter, as the mobile Intel 965 chipset in your laptop will only work the memory at 667 MHz regardless the speed of the FSB processors.

A little known fact, but it is what it is.

The desktop version of the chipset Intel 965 runs at 800 MHz memory.

  • HP Mini 210-3000sd: HP Mini 210-3000 memory update

I bought a HP Mini 210-3000sd, or LT963EA #ABH used. It came with 1 GB of memory, which is great for Linux with a small desktop computer, but most certainly is preferable. I think to upgrade the memory, but am a bit confused:

    According to the product page.
http://support.HP.com/nl-NL/product/HP-mini-210-3000-PC-series/5082191/model/5116173/document/c02904... 1 GB is the maximum amount of memory.

After Crucial, they have a module for 2 GB of RAM for this laptop, only they call cell 210-3000CTO and their recommended module has a non standard of 1.35v rather voltage of 1, 5V.

The maintenance manual mentions single-channel 2GB DDR3 - 1333 MHz, no mention of any particular tension, but they list a number of spare parts 621565-001, which I couldn't find in the HP store, and he otherwise would be probably much more expensive than elsewhere.

Can someone give me more specific information, that is, the memory is expandable and if so, should it be 1.35v?

I got the memory today. Replace the memory module was quick and easy. Now the Starter Edition of Windows and Linux see 2 GB, and everything starts much more quickly.
