A custom RMISocketFactory affect Naming.lookup

I have an obligation to fix the server ports and client used by our RMI application.
I understand that the customer port of fixation is a bad option, as it would obviously be the cause of performance problems.

So, I'm working on fixing server-side ports.
So far, I have created a custom RMI SocketFactory that uses a 10 port range(7000-7010) for the work.
Now when I use the application I see the range used on the network.
However, apart from the ports defined in the CustomRMISocketFactory there other ports I still see in network traces.

The correction I made I see that these ports are generated right after the called (< String >) Naming.lookup.
It is obvious that there is a port on the server running the registy. (port 9011)
But I don't understand what is causing the other ports used. (These ports are selected randomly and keep changing).

Please let me know if anyone can guide me in the correct path.

i. is there any published document which covers the fact that fix the client ports is not recommended along with reasons. I do not understand the reasons, but a document reference would help immensely. Perhaps a pointer to where I can get these documents.

Search these forums, so Networking forum and the forum read-only programming Socket so you can find it. I expressed my point of view on this issue on many occasions, and nobody has ever refuted them or even they questioned in 14 years.

The fact is that the Sockets API simply does not provide a way to specify a range of outbound ports when creating a connection and or because of Java, either taking level or on the MRL level. Some firewall provides the ability to create rules for the outgoing port ranges, but is only by symmetry with beaches of incoming ports, i.e. using the same configuration code for both.

So that there is no support for demand for the outgoing port ranges, they do not have to be specified. Period.

However, I would take the other side: let those who are in favour of outgoing port (a) ranges providing concrete reasons as to how this improves the security of networks and (b) indicate how to implement it. Java RMI.

II. If I understand correctly the ports used by the DGC to track customer references have no can be fixed.

    I write an error handler that creates log files for any errors and warnings that are generated in a custom device fault.  One of the pieces of information that I would like to include in the file is the name of the custom device the error handler is incorporated in (because I run multiple devices customized in the same project).  I tried various classes of property and refnums different nodes, but I was not able to find something that works.  Is the closest I got to get the name of the VI incorporated in my error handler.  It is of course very little use because of custom device file naming structure are always the same, (the error handler is still in the RT pilot VI).

    If anyone has a method to get the name of the Custom device of in a Sub VI of the custom device, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I made a custom AS3 component named "CustomListComponent".
    Is a list type component which extends UIComponent.

    When an element is selected (selected) I generate a custom event named, 'selChange '.

    I want the user to be able to use this tag, set a handler on the MXML tag.
    I tried to use metadata as [vent ("selChange")] in the file of AS3 components with no luck.

    Any help / examples to expose a custom event from a custom component AS3 for the MXML tag for the developer/end user would help considerably.

    To send the event in an AS3 component, try the following. The click event is simply to show you the idea. The event generated by the interaction of the user (or programming) could be anything.

  • What makes a custom default skin

    Hi, I wonder if there is a way to make an appearance to the new value by default when you create a project.

    I tried to save my skin customized by default named skin, but that doesn't seem to work as always, new projects are created with the old skin.

    I think that one way you could do would be to set up a model. Then, when you save, use new projects out of the model.

    The only thing on the models, is that we must be absolutely certain that you do not work with an existing project before creating or making a model. So if you have an existing project, click file > save as... and give this puppy a new name first!

  • Extraction of LR - CC JPG LR5 different?

    I have a client who told me transfer photos to their server via their owner web reporting app. Since I started using LR - CC my uploaded photos are degraded, even if I use the same export preset that I used without problem in the LR5, and even if the photos on my hard drive looks good.

    The workflow is that I photograph, change them in Lightroom, extract the jpgs on my hard drive and then download the jpgs on the server from the client using web custom client reporting app.

    In the past (using the LR5) I have implemented a custom export preset named for the customer. Photos have been reserved for the web, so I set the preset for 640 pixels on the long axis, 72 dpi, screen of sharpening. Worked great for many months. Customer was happy, so I was happy.

    When I switched to LR - CC a couple of weeks, I was happy to see that my pre-existing export screening appeared in LR - CC. There are some additional options available for exports in LR - CC, but they are not relevant to the issue of the extraction of individual jpg files for this customer. I even tried opening LR5 and LR - CC at the same time, and by comparing the export preset by line to make sure that nothing is different.

    Jpg files exported in LR5 and LR - CC both look good if I review them on my hard drive using any jpg Viewer. When I download any LR5 JPG via my customer's web application, the photos look great in the customer relationships. When I download any exported JPG of the LR - CC, however, the picture that looked fine on my hard drive looks like very fuzzy, as if I had purposely Pasante my camera. This is true even if the LR - CC photo looks perfect on my hard drive with any photo application.

    I entered the export LR - CC dialog box and tried to change the output resolution (I went all the way up to a 23 MB jpg) and tried to increase the default value of 60 JPG quality. I tried to use another camera. I tried Safari web browsers Firefox to switch. None of this affects the problem. Each jpg exported LR - CC is horrible in the customer relationship. Changing of LR - CC to LR5 makes the problem disappears. Each jpg uploaded from the LR5 looks great, even at small resolutions. The image degradation that happens on every uploaded photo which was extracted from LR - CC, but no photo that was extracted from LR5. The jpgs of LR5 and LR - CC both look good on my computer. From the point of view of the web client report, LR5 works, LR - CC fails. Yet, the pictures look identical on my hard drive before I the download (impossible to distinguish, in fact).

    I don't have details on how web app from the customer downloads the photos and the customer knows nothing about their software and has no tech support department. Their report software asks me to point to the picture and double-click on it, so I assume it is some kind of file transfer protocol to move the JPG from my hard drive to their server.

    My system is Mac OS 10.10.3 (Yosemite). I tried to use Safari 8.0.6 as Firefox 37.0.2 with no difference. Can someone suggest a solution to the problem other than the maintenance of services to a customer help LR5?

    There is no exception or something like that, but it seems that the registerClient () - method is not called on the server when the client boots.     The server system.out.prints will go to the console of the server on the host server.

    Not interlaced wih the customer out of the client on the client host console.

    Dear,

    I installed a policy file according to the joint, I can see the newspapers that the malware was adopted by the transfer of files, if I blocks malware for any type of file, can someone confirm for me by the events of file/malware according to the attachment that the end-user is affected by malware?  I don't see any colour change on the ikon computer of the end user, but in his show me file path available to malicious software, also can someone confirm that policy file I created below are the best enough to block malicious software like those are warning that I think that it is only an information.

    I would say yes, that the end customer is affected and it will be advisable to run a scan for malware on it.

  • Updated the FMS equipment

    We have improved our material found in the Foglight Management Server. We went from 6 G memory to 32 G.  We are looking for recommendations on the allocation of this memory.  Right now it works, and I think that if ain't broke don't fix it, but if we can make the server run better suggestions would be appreciated.

    I've seen performance improvements foglight on customer sites where we have reduced heap space, because the customer had affected a lot of space for the heap of what was a small environment of FMS.  I agree that you can examine the foglight internal diagnostic reports to display usage and heap garbage collection.

    If a column contains a null value, the column does not appear.

    We also tried to use RKM Essbase Module, and the result was the same.

    Is there a problem because Installation of the ODI has been conducted by FDMEE?

    Is there a constraint or it is just a configuration problem?

    The port is not correct, the port must be the RMI port, which by default is 11333

    We have a page of custom profile in portal WebCenter with a workflow that allows users to update some fields like first name, last name, Email, phone, title of the position, company and Department. These are all standard (but renamed in the user interface) so there is no custom field affected by this query. The reasoning (I think, I inherited this design) is to force the user to accept a company policy whenever they change their details, I suppose that we could using the standard profile page update mechanism.

    The way this taskflow updates the fields is by using the IdentityStore class to read and save changes directly on the server of the OID. The question that I've seen it, is that the profile does not reflect changes since he always uses the cached profile. I saw a WCUserProfile class that has a backup method on it, and I wonder if it really is the mechanism that we should use.

    I would appreciate feedback on the current design, and whether or not we should really use the class WCUserProfile. In addition, no one knows if recording method invalidates the profile cache WebCenter.

    I worked on a solution by using the WCUserProfile object which seems to do the trick. I can update the profile and after the user logs off and back in the changes are visible. So, it invalidates the cache profile WebCenter but unfortunately the session object is always placed in cache, so need to logout.

    If the hostname in error should not make sure that your settings are pointing to the correct data sources.

    Maybe you configuratoins point to other drawings.

    If the data sources are correct then

    See the table of the epub_deployment.

    Looks like it is a pending deployment and the deployment cannot continue because the agent is not running.

    So removing the entries in this table and restart the server.

    And check the agents that you have configured in the agents table.

    If this isn't the host names that you have set up, then delete and re-create.

    As a final option:

    If you can't open admin console and then remove the site and agent tables.

    If nothing works then again recreate the patterns and Setup CRS.
