• Windows import video repeatedly stops after a few seconds when you use DV cam to convert and import analog videos

  With the help of a Canon Elura 40 mini DV camera to import my old Video 8 tapes to the .avi format. I followed the instructions from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Import-analog-video-to-your-computer-by-using-a-DV-camera . However, when I click Start import import will work only for a few seconds and then stops. If I keep restarting after that it stops every time (5 to 10 times), I finally get a message under the controls of cam DV that says "commands does not. Then it will keep the import without problem. I discovered this solution accidentally, but not knowing when it will eventually continue to record does get the departure point. If I import directly using a digital camera 8 this is not the case, but the Video 8 does not play well on the Digital 8.

• Publishing plan for middle of the year and annual Urgent

  I need a few entries on the publishing plan options.
  
  In regard to my knowledge is we can only insert a valuation model when publish a plan.
  
  My requirement
  
  Plan period January 1, 2009
  
  Closing date December 31, 2009
  
  The objectives of mid-year start 01-May-2009
  
  End 31-May-2009
  
  Assessment of Midyera June 1, 2009
  June 30, 2009
  
  Objecitive setting annual beginning October 1, 2009
  October 15, 2009
  
  Evaluation annual beginning November 1, 2009
  End November 29, 2009.
  
  To achieve this scenario, we need to publish the plan to reach twice. Whenever we publish a plan, it will allow you to choose only a single model of assessment.
  
  Our customer has 1,000 employees, each has unique goals that will be not shared between the organisation.when what it's a plan that is also not the same for all employees.
  
  We use the hierarchy position to drive the population of Plan. Say we have 25 hierarchies of position must be chosen during the pubslishing plan, must be published for many times.
  
  Y at - it another option available to help out. Anyone have this scenario!

  When you create a new plan, you pouvez_ set several assessments in the plan. You are not limited to a single.

  You must ensure that the dates of the tasks in the plkan are correct and do not overlap each other. For example, make sure the first objective defining the period ended before the start of the first assessment task. Then once completed the first assessment task you must reset the goal define the period. This second period will also need to finsih before the start of the second trial period.

  In order to reset the goal define the period, you must re - publish the plan, but should NOT be re-emter taks assessment because they can be defined in the initial version of the plan.

• A few questions about the workflow with the window Code and Actions Panel

  If I have the window of open Code and want to add a new action to an element (by right-clicking and choosing "open stock...) "), the program is not responding. I have to close the Code window to open the Actions Panel. Then add the Action and then close the control panel and reopen the window code. It's not a way I can see to have Actions open and open at the same time.

  Actions is not yet considered as a 'window' that it cannot be opened in this menu drop-down. It floats also only - you cannot dock anywhere.

  I know that you can click on the small icon to the right of the name of the item in the properties panel for "open stock". But that only works once. Say that I have added a click to an element using this icon event, but then, I also want to add a mouseout/mouseouthandler() event. If I click on this icon, once again the Panel is described in orange but nothing happens.

  It is slow me down having to open and close windows whenever I have add a new action. Am I missing something? Is there a secret character that I'm supposed to use to add an action without having to use the Actions window. I prefer open the Code panel so I can easily hope around the code for different elements. This division between the Action and the Code is intuitive and . ineffective

  If you want to use the window Code, no need to jump on stock {} icon or use ' shares open dethrone ' command, just keep the Code window opens, make a click right then don't use the icon to the right of the symbol or element you want to apply an action to - see + captures. When you click on the + follow the special action string. This way you can add several 'Actions' without having to close the Code window.

  

  Regarding the by clicking on the icon {} when the Code window is already open, like a time thing - good observation. You will need to use the above + process to add successive events.

  According to my previous ramblings, I just go CS5.5 and am very interested in the animation and the side of interactive documents of things.

  I created a document as a test that has a video (mp4) and a slideshow (using the buttons to the previous step and the next step of stacked images).

  I can export it as a swf file, all perfectly, but the first few people I sent there do not have flash player.  I thought that most of the people would be able to open it but apparently not.  Is there a better format for export?

  I tried to export as an interactive pdf, but my slide show button does not work then.  I don't quite see the element of interaction of one interactive pdf other than being able to put in a video (which I have not yet tried).  Im sure someone can enlighten me!

  Any help?  Are swf is intended primarily for Web sites where people can see it this way rather than be sent by electronic mail?

  Animations and slideshow features are available only in a SWF file, which, as you have discovered, requires Flash.

  Workaround: select only the slideshow and the buttons that are associated and export to SWF format using the option on the export dialog box. Then replace the SWF file in InDesign. Use the media panel to create an image of the poster. Can export to PDF.

  I have almost the same machine, so I guess I can enlight you with my experience with this type of machine:

  1. No, unfortunately not, the second disc acts as a second HDD and nothing more. You can do software RAID which approximates longer than the share of your intention, but it s not the same as hardware RAID.
  2. no and Yes. No way to won´t CPU works with a higher frontsidebus but yes the modules work in the machine. I guess that the modules will be be underclockes at 667 Mhz to work with the designated CPU frontsidebus.
  3. If you have a SLI machine, you´re able to disable the second card.
  4 No, only the Celeron and the Core2Duo.
  5. Yes, the plug has 479 pin butwhat do you mean with ball coupling?

• a few questions about vcloud

  I have a few questions about vcloud.  Currently, we use labmanager and are testing vcloud to see how we can apply it to our environment.  The current labmanager serves the following purpose:

  -create dev and QA 'environments' (configurations) that are copies of production servers so that the changes can be tested

  -environments deploy everything from models that are clones of production servers that we update as required

  -We have several models of "database" that freshen production according to the needs in order to provide a current recuree version of the database of production for these environments

  -computers in virtual environments are able to talk to each other using their 'production' IPs, because IP addresses are closed and accessible only internally within the

  -Each VM has an "external IP" that we can use to access the virtual machines from outside the environment.  for example, access a Web site through the front-end server within the environment, or RDP to a windows virtual computer within an environment.

  I am trying to determine how this translates into vcloud configuration, and I think I have a rough idea.  However I have a few questions:

  As I understand it, has no way to RDP to a virtual machine in a paralytic 'environment' unless the virtual machine is directly routed, correct?  In other words, we cannot copy the configuration that we have above, where the virtual machine has an internal IP address that corresponds to the IP address of the server in production and is used to refer to other virtual machines in the same environment of vApp, however there is also one external IP address, we can use to access this virtual machine via RDP or access its site Web etc.?

  I have 2 servers windows 2008, I imported as models, and each time I deploy a virtual using the VAPP model computer, the server seems to restart after 15 minutes be on is, and it seems to go through a windows installation, where it says "preparing your system for a first use" etc.  And when it arrives, the administrator password I put is no longer correct (so I have no idea why / what it changes the administrator password).  At this point, the virtual machine is useless since I can't connect to it.  No idea why this happens each time I have deploy a model VM?

  (1) generally, the POET application and database server is decentralized with application and database EBS? Both BIEE 10g and 11g version can be integrated with EBS R12?
  
  (2) in the POET administration tool, the first step is to create arrays of physics. If the source application is EBS, is it still necessary to create the physical tables?
  
  (3) if the physical creation of tables is needed, how to transfer data from the source of BSE BIEE physical tables tables? What ETL tool is preferred for most of developers? generator for warehouse or Oracle data integration?
  
  (4) during the data transfer phase, there are many many large data to transfer, how to keep the entire? for example, it must transfer 1 million lines of source to physical tables BIEE database, when 50% is completed, users try to open the POET report, they can see the new data of 50% on the reports? is there some transaction in phase control ETL?
  
  could someone give some pointers for me? I am very appreciated if you can also provide any other information.

  You shud look at OBI request here that uses OBIEE as a tool for reporting with pre-built modules. 10g & 11g comes with different versions of the applications of BI that supports sources such as Siebel CRM, EBS, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, etc...

  His independent of any source. It comes to OBIEE modeling to create the RPD with all the layers. If you build from scratch, then you will need to create all layers else if BI Apps is used so you can get pre-built RPD and other pre-designed components.

  BI apps comes with ETL pre-built mapping to use with the tools majorly with Informatica. Only applications BI 7.9.5.2 comes with ODI, but oracle has the intention of having only ODI for any other versions.

  User will see still old data because its good enable Cache and serving it after each load.

  Try changing the VGA cables and check if it helps.

  If the problem persists, then I suggest you to update the firmware.
