  I could create/reply/forward email AOL with FireFox 14 but with FireFox 15.0 service reply/forward only copied the email on the page new message on the first attempt - I got at the end / restart FireFox whenever I wanted to reply/forward. With the 15.0.1 update I lost the ability to create/reply/forward - page new message works except that I can't deliver send it or save commands (thanks for the AutoSave). Go to IE has solved the problem, but my preferance browser is FireFox.

  The problem is that for page email Web AOL - yahoo and gmail work perfectly.

  Yes, send, save, etc. buttons are there but do nothing - in fact, the cursor is an arrow rather than on a hand.

  I solved the problem by going to my mail preferences and change the "always start new email in a new window" to deselect this feature so that the new message/reply/forward will be held in the normal email window.

  The problem seems to be copying the reply/forward in a new window and send/save buttons never get activated.

  The email function works as long as I keep the function contained in a window.

  Recently I can not send or forward emails to myself.  I use Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Mail.  My Windows Mail comes through Verizon ISP.  The emails I send or transmit to myself are in my Inbox from Verizon, but they do not come in my Inbox Windows, even if it shows that I have "new message".  Even when I try to send my Verizon Inbox to myself, the email will not come, but it will tell me that I have new messages.

  Well, babacar, you were lucky that Verizon was trying to help out you.  When I called AT & T, they told me that was a problem of software 3rd party, they could not help me, and I should call Microsoft.  Like you, I am on disability and can't afford to pay the costs of assistance.  So, it is certainly a problem of Microsoft.  Maybe on one of the updates it I screwed up.

• Cannot reply to or forward emails in yahoo

  Since windows updated Nov 15/12 I was not able to reply to or forward emails from yahoo.  What happened on our laptop and our office of albums, both are using Windows 7.  If we turn on our Ipad, we have no problem you reply to or forward the same emails. I've exhausted all the recommendations of Yahoo. I still can, however, create a new e-mail message and send it out.

  Try forward as an attachment. It's in the message menu (Alt + M)

  Some e-mail client make a mess of coding of images, Thunderbird decodes, but does not solve the problems when they are transmitted to the images are not visible. If my assumption is correct as an attachment will show images.

  You can try using System Restore to go back to a point before the problem started. I have included instructions below for the system restore function.

  The System Restore tool

  Other troubleshooting methods, such as using the System File Checker tool, cannot solve the problem. If they do not resolve the problem, and the problem you are experiencing started occurring recently, you can use the System Restore tool. Using this tool, you can restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

  The tool using System Restore may not necessarily help you determine the problem. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem. When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

  To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

  1. click on Start

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue.

  2. in the System Restore dialog box, click choose a different restore point, and then click Next.

  The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

  Thanks for the comments and I can certainly understand the concern of a change in function. During the passage of our mono for color printers they use of engines of various processes, so some of the feature sets are different than you may be used to. We have the functionality available in the mono style printers. The unit which replaced the 1815dn is the 2375dn and it's at least $100 cheaper. So your consumables are much less expensive to replace.

  I recommend you to contact your sales representative or the customer service to see if your eligibility for returns if this is an important feature that you need. As for it be added in a future update I don't plan it added sine forward at the section server option is already in place, but I'll forward your comments to our team of engineers for review.

• Stop forwarding email to gmail

  At the same time as I had all my Windows Live email forwards to a gmail address.  I want to stop this but don't know how to do it.  I'm Canadian, use TELUS as my server.  I checked and re-checked the electronic setting on my TELUS account and the e-mail forwarding feature is disabled.  I don't see anywhere in Windows Live mail where there is a 'switch' for sending electronic mail.

  To confirm, if you send yourself an email just (no CC would, or BCC would) and forward, is inserted automatically into the field to an address, or appears just below the field, on a gray background?

  If it is the latter, what are contacts suggested only - when on, they will be added to the field to.

• I have windows Live to my email. After opening, I lose with the actual message preview pane, shows only as an attachment that appears on the browser can not reply or forward email

  I have two accounts in the Windows Live program, this problem occurs on both.  When I first opened Windows Live, I don't see the list of emails and that highlighted there is the message in the preview pane.  However, once I started to move to other messaging, the preview pane is empty except to show that there is an attachment.  If I click on it to open it does not open by mail, but on the browser and you can not reply to or forward the message.  This happens even if the message is only a text.  The computer works fine in other programs.  I did a complete scan - no virus and I have removed all the temp. files.   I was wondering if I need to uninstall Windows Live and then put back in, but want to know if I will get the same version that I have now or it will be Windows Essentials.  JD

  They should not be there! The cache is just another name that the Windows shell (the interface between you and Windows) use for temporary Internet files. If you moved TIF, shell: cache now brings you to the relatively empty folder. If so, you should have no problem, remove the old bloated TIF folder. You must use SHIFT + DELETE to do; otherwise, Windows will spend ages copy all the content in the Recycle Bin in case you change your mind. It might take some time (even hours or minutes) to remove so much superfluous things, it might be a good idea to do just before going to bed and hope that nothing hinders while you sleep, then take a look in the morning to check that it is all gone.

  Windows Live now works as it should.

  It is indeed the object of the exercise. Good to hear things are working again.

  I think that the best way to do it is through the cox e-mail settings, (there should be an option to transfer mail, take a tour and see, most of the e-mail clients that have) if not, you can try doing it through gmail.  I am familiar with cox, otherwise I'd give more information.  On gmail in settings (on a computer) on accounts and import and the first option is to import messages and contacts.  Go through the steps and it should work.  Better yet, check out this link on the transfer of mail for cox Mail Forwarding
