• Save a PDF file that retains the size when opening.

  I start with my photoshop file. I save as pdf. At the opening of the PDF it opens 2 X the size of my orginal photoshop file. I hit then command 0 to see the size of the original, but it is still much bigger than my photoshop file.

  I would like the best viewing experinece to my PDF and I want it opens exactly the size of my photoshop file. It is annoying when it open wide. How can I do this?

  I just did a quick test. I opened the file in Acrobat. Drive and preview on Mac. They are all showed their initially seen content. When I made a change to a field in the preview and saved the file, the contents of the field are not displayed when subsequently opened in Acrobat/Reader. This is a bug of well know preview. In short, overview corrupts the fields, the content is not visible. This can be partially corrected by exporting form data to a file and re-import, but does not cancel all the damage. It makes data visible, however. You can also run a script to actually do the same thing.

  You need to warn people, it's not not to use the preview to make changes. Instead, use Acrobat. Player can make changes, and then save the modified document if you apply the document with Acrobat usage rights: Advanced > extend features in Adobe Reader...

  I made this way in MS Word.
  1. create the placeholder for the value
  2. put highlight and make a hyperlink
  3. Enter the url in the address bar

  So if you have a complete hyperlink in the URL_LINK xml element you just enter {URL_LINK} in the address line. If you have only a part of the link, IE only a product name, you can enter 'http://www.oracle.com?product= {PRODUCT_NAME} ".

• Our InDesign seems to have lost the ability to open/modify a PDF file. Any idea on why this might have happened or how to fix it?

  We had to install InDesign CS6 recently on a Windows 8 machine and after using the program for a few days/weeks successfully, the user pointed out that it can is no longer open / edit a PDF file. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how can I solve this problem. If I uninstall and reinstall the program I'll be able to use my existing license?

  InDesign has never been able to open or to modify a PDF file. Illustrator can do it, somehow, but unless the PDF file has been created in Illustrator and contain the original Illustrator file information, it is not a good idea.

  PDF has been designed as an end-format and is not really intended for further editing.

  You can use properties of column-> right = Horizontal alignment and Vertical alignment = at the top, but you have multiple queries in your report. The approach is to differentiate the different levels and apply conditional formatting. Try this approach,

  1. click on the request combined so that you can see the option "Add the result column" in the left pane
  2. click on 'Add a result column', in the type of column in your time dimension column (if the column is first has type saw_0)
  3. yet once, click on 'Add column result', enter the column formula: case when (saw_0) LENGTH > 5 then 2 1 other end

  Here LENGTH (saw_0) > 5 will return only the month records (i.e) 200901,200902 etc.

  4. now click on properties on the column to the new column added in step 2, goto-> add a Condition of-> conditional formatting select the column added to step 3->

  -Case when (saw_0) LENGTH > 5 then 2 1 other end = 2 then format-> right = Horizontal alignment and Vertical alignment = Top

  This indentera the month right column. This will work when exporting to pdf format.

  the last few weeks when I open firefox it opens with no search bar, no address bar, no bars at all. all I have is a blank white page with Mozilla Firefox in the upper left corner and on the upper right reduce it, restore them and close buttons. I can try and open many times and the same thing happens. I tried to reinstall the latest version, I tried the F11 key, the ALT key, all other keys. the only way I can use it is if by chance I get firefox to load with bars, and then I click on a link at random to open a tab and use it. It's very frustrating. I have also shut down my computer completely for about a half hour and rebooted, hoping it would help. I can't open anything to verify anything. There is no bar file/edit/view/...tools for me to change anything. There is nothing more than a blank page. I'd appreciate any help.   There are 2 ways to do this:

  1: right click on the file you want to open and point to open with, then click on choose program, click the program you want to open your file and put a checkmark in the box always use the selected program to open this type of file, click OK. Use the browse option to find your program if not who are listed there.

  2: go to: Control Panel, folder, File Types Options, scroll to the bottom for your file type: such as PDF click to highlight and then click on edit and follow the same steps as option # 1

  Here's a possibility... go to... Start ORB / Control Panel.
  Folder options / tab / files and folders / uncheck

  I had this problem with all versions of windows that I can remember since I've been putting the taskbar to the top of the screen.  Why Windows was never designed to properly use this configuration is beyond me.  In fact, it's a way far more productive things with the taskbar at the top.
  Anyway, I fixed this 'error' every time, but I do not remember how it was done before.

  Usually, to fix it I have temporarily move the taskbar, move the window in question down and bring back the taskbar. It is not very productive.  Most programs should remember their position when closed, but apparently are not remembered.  There should be a way to force windows to open on top of the taskbar.  I know I could auto hide the taskbar, but I don't want to do that.

  I use Windows 7.

  There is a custom here solution: http://www.sevenforums.com/customization/44913-disabletaskbarontop-disable-taskbar-always-top-9.html but for all practicial reasons, this is a "by design" feature in Windows 7.

• CC 2014 Dreamweaver rewrites the code when opening model

  Hi all:

  I have a site "bootstrap", that I am building and it works very well if I open it in Dreamweaver CS5, but when I open it in CC2014, he removes some codes and adds another code (specifically, it removes links to js files and adds links to other js files). This is driving me batty and normally I would just finish it in CS5 but others will work on this project as well, and they all use CC 2014.

  Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? Seems to do it with other models "bootstrap", I have as well.

  Looks like it has something to do with the bootstrap dmxzone addon automatically insert his own shit. If I can just find a way to get rid of it, I think that my problems will be completed.

  Someone knows how to do this?
