Save a PDF file that retains the size when opening.

I start with my photoshop file. I save as pdf. At the opening of the PDF it opens 2 X the size of my orginal photoshop file. I hit then command 0 to see the size of the original, but it is still much bigger than my photoshop file.

I would like the best viewing experinece to my PDF and I want it opens exactly the size of my photoshop file. It is annoying when it open wide. How can I do this?

Thank you for your help.

If you have Acrobat, you can open the PDF file and edit the document properties ".» (CMD - D)

On the tab 'Initial view', select the 'magnification' favorite.

Beware that there are limits to the retention of what you perceive as the correct size. Different people have different size poster.

    Hi carls76936091,

    Open Acrobat, go to the Edit-> Preferences-> search & check if there is a limit to 500 set, in case if it is to increase it please.

  • Read a PDF file without knowing the size of stream

    Hello

    while I am able to properly read a PDF file, the only way I can do it (in function
    on what I heard in the master PDF 1.7) is to go the end of the stream and
    start from here (section 7.5.5).

    But this requires the size of the stream to be known. While this is usually not a
    problem (since the flow is usually a simple file), I would like to make my
    a bit more generic and be able to manage any type of flow, as library
    as long as it is placed at the beginning of a PDF document.

    But unless I missed something of the form, when I'm dealing with a
    unknown flow (a person who could not yet be fully charged when I started
    reading, as an outlet), it is not how to do it. I mean, I could do it,
    but I don't would not be able to tell when I arrived at the end of the document. Not
    without some sort of length information (because I do not know where the stream)
    ends). I mean, where to stop? In a trailer? That works only if the
    document have never been updated.

    If, just after the header (%) PDF - he was a kind of meta-information on
    the size of the document (after all the updates, if any) I could move the stream to
    that post (wait for the data arriving, if necessary) and work my way of
    He (and from there, because I would like to know where the document ends). But since my
    understand, there is no way to retrieve such information.

    So, to sum up, in order to properly read a PDF document:
    -I always need to know the size of stream (which I might not be able to)
    -the data flow must end with the PDF data (which could be also not always true)

    Am I wrong?

    Unless the file has been established for "fast web view" (aka linearization - ISO 32000-1, Appendix F) Yes.

    BUT, if a file be linearized so that it can be better managed in flow (at least for some parts of the PDF file).  It is not supported to pure stream - which is not possible - but it will help.

  • JavaScript in a PDF file that checks the value of a specific field and then make the right calculation.

    Hi guys!

    Sorry for my English is not my mother tongue.

    This is my first time writing here, I just discover the great possibilities of Javascript in PDF files and I'm very excited about it!

    I have no experience with Javascript, that's what I would do:

    Basically, I need to calculate how many litres of gas is needed to do a specific job in agriculture.

    I have a table that looks like this:

    Seed: 120 litres/Km

    Weeding: 20 litres/Km

    Fertilize: 140 litres/Km

    I have 3 fields in the pdf file: OPERATION / KM / NECESSARYGASOLINE

    I need something like this:

    Seed = 120;

    Weed = 20;

    Fertilize = 140;

    IF the OPERATION is 'Seeds' then NECESSARYGASOLINE = 120 * KM;

    OTHERWISE, if the OPERATION is 'Weed' then NECESSARYGASOLINE = 20 * KM;

    OTHERWISE, if the OPERATION is "Fertilizer" then NECESSARYGASOLINE = 140 * KM;

    Is it possible to translate it in Javascript?

    Thank you very much for the help! It would be really wonderful!

    Yes, it is possible. Use the following syntax:

    If (organic == 'Yes' & culture == "Wheat")

    Hello

    Is the PDF "protectedPDF" by Vitrium?

    Currently, mobile products Acrobat DC (for iOS and Android) do not support PDFs with DRM (Digital Rights Management) by third parties.

    I'm not aware of any other free mobile applications that support documents "protectedPDF".

    I advise to use the desktop Reader on a Windows or Mac computer version to view PDF documents. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    How can I remove 'save' options in a pdf file that only allows you to complete and print the form?

    Go to tools - JavaScript - the value of the Document Actions and define one will save the action with this code:

    this.resetForm ();

    If you are worried about the safety of private information transfer, however, then email is not a good way to do it. You must use a HTTPS web service for the security.

  • How to save a PDF file in Adobe so it appears correctly in the Firefox default drive?

    I have seen discussions on how to change your own settings of Firefox for poster correctly PDF files (documents to look at a PDF in Firefox 19 +) However, I'm looking for a solution on how to save a PDF file so that they display correctly in the new default Firefox reader. Our files PDF is bad looking and I can not go in the browser of each clients and difficulty settings (http://www.cherrybekaertbenefits.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/ACA_Infographic_072114.pdf). Meet them all parameters within the Acrobat Distiller is going to fix this without the Viewer to enter their own arrangements?

    Hmm, not a subtle difference.

    We did not have many experts PDF or Adobe Illustrator users post advice here; those who might be sprinkled around on other forums, blogs or support sites.

    I noticed when you view the properties of the PDF in Adobe Reader that the PDF has been created with optimization for active fast Web view. This is a feature that allows the progressive rendering of PDF files over a slow connection (http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/optimize-native-pdf-file-sizes.html#...). You can try to re - generate the PDF file with this feature turned off to see if that makes a difference?

  • Save a PDF file cannot be modified, losing the file HAVE changed.

    It's great that illustrator can edit PDF files and it's great that Illustrator can record on a non editable PDF. But why, for the love of sanity, I would like to save a PDF file cannot be modified, but then have the original file, currently open HAVE disappear leaving only this little pointless PDF file? I STILL want the file HAVE to remain the main current job file original. But it doesn't work.

    Or if, for some reason I can't understand, this behavior is necessary, and right, then at least it should show unequivocally that I am to modify a PDF file cannot be modified and strongly suggest to me that I might want to save an editable PDF or HAVE a file, or even do it automatically until I close the file (or Illustrator crashes as it is wont to do).

    I'm working on a file HAVE and I need to save a small file of WIP not editable for the customer display. I go to file - save as-> PDF / smaller file size / uncheck "preserve Illustrator editing capabilities". I send the PDF file to the client and continue to work and save, assuming that I'm working on the original. The file looks and behaves exactly as it did until I taped that, intuitively, I guess that is the file HAVE same, original, with the PDF file in a copy. However, when I come back the next morning, after having closed the file, only the low resolution not editable PDF file remains. The file doesn't help, and I have to redo all the work all the way back to the last time, I saved the file I saved the PDF.

    Much trouble, loss of hair, the time wasted, face Palm trees, etc.

    The thing is, I now /know/ does and I'm going out of my way to avoid it happening, but in the race at the end of the work and send commands to the client and manage multiple versions of files, it still happens. Now clearly this is my fault, but heck, Illustrator could behave much more usefully in this regard!

    Well, I must be missing something, I guess.

    I asked how "save a copy...". "is the way lasts, and you replied that you were referring to not using Save a Copy... So I re - submit that by using Save a Copy is the solution to your original problem.

    • Work in Illustrator; number of objects; several layers, live effects, etc.
    • Want a copy of WIP for the customer as you have described originally...
    • Choose file > save a copy... Format is not question could make no editable PDF, raster format, whatever...
    • Continue to work in Illustrator... under a State record which is absolutely no different than if I had never done the Save a Copy... There is no "silent dump' edit-ability or any such similar event. If I record, I save it HAVE original, or a new if the State was not saved.
  • Unable to save a PDF file to the desktop or the Paticular folder

    Hi all.

    I had problems for the last two days trying to save my PDF invoices, etc. When I download the PDF and select, "save under" another window will open that displays usually my files I have, but now it appears white. No idea why this is happening and how I can fix this problem?

    I want to save my PDF files on certain folders on my desktop and in the Cloud Drive.

    Thanks in advance.

    Try the following: open Acrobat Preferences (Edit > Preferences), then go to the category "General" and disable the two options 'display... online storage '. ». Which solves your problem?
