• Problem with ODI 11 g and width fixed files

  Hi all,

  I have a problem with a flat file with fixed length fields. I have reported all the correctly (it seems) and in the data preview, I see the correct data, unfortunately when I lounch my execution interface I get an error message saying that the size of the last filed is more than the declared.   I am new to ODI. I have a problem with one of the packaging. The package ran fine until yesterday.
  
  Today when I fell it gives below error. I suspect that when ODI validates the XML with XSD file it fails with the error below.

• Problem launching ODI data quality/profiling in Vista

  I have a weird problem with Oracle Data Integrator installation in Vista. Hope someone could help me.
  
  I installed ODI (10.1.3.5.0) as well as the quality of the data and profiling. The installation was successful, however, while trying to launch the quality/Metabase database server, etc., I get an error: "admin.exe is not found" / "discovery.exe not found." In addition, the bin folder of the oracledq folder is empty. I was just wondering need 'something' at least in the bin directory if the installation was error-free!
  
  Could you please let me know if something is wrong with the installation or is it a Vista problem? Do I need to install anything else as a sine qua non?

  I hope that the problem is with the ODI_JAVA_HOME path that lies in your environmental variables. It will look to the top by ODIPARAM at run time.

  Right click on my computer in your desktop-> properties-> Advanced-> Environmental Variables.

  Look for the variable ODI_JAVA_HOME it in the list and change the path of this as directed by your java installation path.

  I need to generate every 10 seconds a digital output which is weak for 3 seconds low and high, the rest of the time. I have attached the VI that works very well with my previous values (500 ms and ms 2000). However, I get a weak State for 1 sec, 2 sec or 3 seconds but not permanently 3 dry when I used it with the values 3 s / 10 s.

  It works if I use the values 3 seconds / 15 seconds (15 seconds or more).

  There must be a problem with my loop, but I don't understant what is the problem, because the outside loop should be expected inside loop to finish before starting a new loop. I don't understand why my time low State is affected by the loop of the outer time...

  It seems too complex. Here's an alternative. I used the delay function since there the error / mistake on connections to enforce data streams. I also changed the type of writing DAQmx since you seem to be writing on one line only.

• Fundamental problem with composition VisualLightBox. Arggh!

  OK so basically I can't slide in light to work independently composition table. I have a portfolio with many miniature images page. You click to open the light table with an enlarged image of the thumb. When I add text or images to the first slide, as it appears on every page! I have the normal jQuery languages but I didn't want the thumbnail to be a scaled-down image version full size in the slide viewer. I created an interesting set of jpg for thumbs and then imported the enlarged image on each page of the composition Viewer. When I add details and brief customer first it slide duplicates on all pages. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. I don't know that I'm missing something simple.
