  See the following message to solve the problem of .exe if necessary once you are sure that the system is clean.

  Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

  I do experience notable in Photoshop slowdowns when working with large files (more than 4000 x 4000 pixels) with many layers.
  I tried different things, like tinkering with performance options in Photoshop, brush settings and global PC settings.
  Nothing seems to help.
  
  When you start with a new file (say 4000 x 4000 pixels), everything seems fine. As I work, I create layers more. When the number of layer approaches 80 ~ 100 I start noticing significant slowdowns. The Brush tool becomes lag (delay adds boring), zooming and paning is smoother and everything becomes overall slower.
  
  When checking in the Manager of tasks, either the graphics card or RAM or processor is fully utilized. Total CPU usage is usually only 20 ~ 25%, 50% of RAM but Photoshop is lagging as hell.

  I think I have a quite decent PC. (at least for this type of workload..)
  My PC current specifications are:
  
  CPU: i7 6700 k @ 4, 0GHz
  RAM: DDR4, 16GB, 3000 Mhz
  GPU: GTX 980 Ti
  2xSSD RAID-0 for the main system partition (Photoshop "scratch disks" can also be programmed to do this).
  Windows 10

  
  So, what could be the problem? Any ideas I could try?

  After more inexperienced, seems to have finally found the culprit that is causing slowdowns.
  Layer blending Options. Especially those that generate their own semi-transparent area.

  I can reproduce this in the layer file 10:
  (1) create a new file with the dimensions of the 6000 x 6000 pixels (or something bigger) with no background
  (2) draw something
  (3) add option 'outer glow' merger with significant RADIUS
  (4) add a few more layers, repeat steps 2 and 3
  (5) create new layer below all other layers and try to get something in the area where overlap the effects of "outer glow".

  So the main takeaway:
  Be careful adding mixture of options to layers and rasterization them where possible.

  I suggest that you install the last em 12.1.0.2 and or 12.1.0.1 with BP1.  Is there a particular reason that you want to install 12.1.0.1 with bp1?

  If you are referring to the workspaces, then yes it is possible but the service will be removed in January 2015

  If you are referring to files.acrobat.com, so if you can create folders and put the files into it, but you cannot assign access to specific people as you could in workspaces.

  Like Ann, I don't remember when the conduct to the predefined portrait/animations have been added to the titration module.

  Although my PrPro has them, I rarely use them, and simply do as Ann suggests - animate my titles with the fixed effect > Motion > Position and animate Position keyframe. This allows much more freedom and control. You can change the speed at any point (s) and can even stop the animation if you wish.

• Clicked on writing in Thunderbird, got a whole new list of contacts with many items I did not here. Why?

  Most of the new entries seems to be people that I have either written or received mail from. My address book is last name first. Many new entries have the same names but first name first. Something is obviously by analyzing my mail file all and added to my contacts list. If I want to add a contact, I'll do it. "Don't want to do to me unless I ask."

  If so, it is called the Contacts Sidebar and TB38, default to 'All address books' and it'll show you a composite, consisting of all your address book address book which one you don't know you have, known as collected addresses.

  If you click on "All address books" in the sidebar of Contacts, you will get a drop down menu where you can choose one of your address books. Personal address book could be the one suitable for you.

  I do not use the sidebar. I just start typing addresses or names and an auto fill feature offers connections to the address book.

  When this topic comes up, I often ask about the thought process behind the work of a list of names. I guess that there are use cases where you send a large number of people, including all the names you couldn't possibly memorize, a list could act as a reminder. (But there are better ways to deal with such a situation; for example dedicated address books, mailing lists, direct mail utility.)

  Another use case may be the kind of person who blindly copy fun (supposedly!) messages to all their knowledge.
