A project to share with images of RED 4 K

I am about to begin a feature with a Director of edition located thousands of miles away.  We will share the project files on Dropbox.  The producer sent me 14TB of 4 sequences of K RED, which is beyond the capacity of my RAID drive.  I know that first can change the RED images natively, but y at - it an easy way to collaborate offline using proxies?  The tree of folders on my system is inevitably different than on the Director system, and we hope to avoid having to redo the link media when each of us opens one project file, the other worked on that.  Most of my experience has been on Avid, and I am a little familiar with how that first manages the media.

Yes, the great thing about the new first proxy workflow is that you can generate the proxy files you want (i.e. you could use REDCINE - X Pro or even FCPX which is paradoxically faster than Adobe Media Encoder - a.k.a WADA - generate ProRes proxies). First, all you have to do is select your original clips, then right click and select "Proxy > join Proxy" pointing where you exist proxies.

Although certainly, you might create a folder in the SOUL, and all your R3D files in there, it is probably just as easy to select all the clips in the first click ' Proxy > create proxies...» ». First everything will add in a queue of the SOUL, then you can just press 'go' of the day, overnight or over the weekend and let it do its thing.

If your manager has no proxies and has only the original media - then as long as he or she is bound to the original media, everything works perfectly. On your system, of course, the original media will be offline - but that's fine, as you will have access to the proxy files. First remember the path for the proxies (which will be on your system) and the path to the files full resolution (which will be on the administration system) - so in that theory, you shouldn't do any re-binder. Once all the proxies are generated, I would just send the Director your creative project, and then everything must be synchronized and up-to-date. From that point on, you can simply share projects and the Director can simply import cuts sequences into their 'main' project to avoid having lots of duplicates.

If you may need to link to the original R3D files on YOUR system, then it's all simply a matter of selection ' Proxy > reconnect full resolution media...» "and selecting everywhere where R3D files. As long as your Director always uses the original project you sent previously, first should be able to re - link automatically things you share cuts sequences via the "media browser.

My last big project was a television series of 6 x 15 min, we were constantly throwing projects between a Mac & PC and despite the fact that both machines have difference media locations, the first was able to keep track of things without too many nightmares re-Binder, who does everything is really good.

  • Motion menu BluRay renders with stutters and Red images

    I did the menus animated before on Bluray discs before, but this time, the video clip is made with stutters and Red images. I tried back during the music video for first and replacing the assets again but still the same. I tried to lower the transmission speed and tried to force again to transcode the video resource, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have the same experience or a glimpse of how I can fix this. My only guess is that it may have to do with the length that it is the longest video resource I've used in a menu at 59 seconds of time.

    "Stuttering" is as it is jumping around in the video clip... as randomly grabbing an image of one or two seconds in front or behind.

    I don't remember the details, but I think that something like this has been a problem known at some point.

    Then I try using Media Encoder to transcode a reminder instead. I will also try to reduce the maximum flow rate from 25 to 15.

    By selecting the option of the SOUL in still affects only the assets of transcoding for chronologies/slideshows when you use the option 'transcode now'. It uses a SOUL when transcoding in the building and uses no SOUL for animated menus.

    The menu is a standard file in Photoshop with a layer of background image and several layer sets for buttons (2 in the main menu, in the menu of Chapter 11). They are just text, no video clips, graphics or thumbnails. The highlight (= 1) layer is of even the text as the text layer, with an added stroke outline.

    To eliminate the need for transcoding of the motion, you would remove the 'text' layer (as in "the same text as the text layer -" a layer in the menu of photoshop that is not a = 1 layer highlight etc.) and put the video of those in the bottom of the query.

    Since it is a XP forum... I'm guessing that you are running Outlook Express?

    The following steps may be worth a try...

    Open Outlook Express and go to...

    Tools / Options / Security tab.

    Clear (clear) the box "block images and other external content in HTML e-mail" / apply / OK

    Also on the reading tab... Make sure that "Read all messages in plain text" is not checked.

    I use Comp for a little while now, very impressed. Incredibly convenient. The only problem we met today, is that I can share my computer with other members of the team. It therefore works as an application mockup only fantastic staff. But I want to use it beyond that. Be able to share between Adobe Id would do the trick for me. And of course being able to send projects from Photoshop comp and vice versa. Please bring the workflow up to its full potential!

    You can share projects model with others in your team with your property with the function send a link on the web. It is somewhat a process right now, but it can certainly be done:

    Log in to https://assets.adobe.com/ with your Adobe ID

    Access the assets/files/Mobile creations/Comp, then select the project to share

    Click on the link share/send, click the button create link Public

    At this point, you can choose to send the link to an email address or copy public link to send later.

    Once the person receiving the public link is also sign - in access to his account of CC, this opening link allows the receiving user save the project in this CC account.

    Give it a try and let me know if that's what you're wanting to do.

  • Problems with images after the subclips

    Today I woke up to see all subelements, I made my most recent project. Just today, footage looked more pixelated and blurry.

    What might of happened? When I stop the image the quality is exactly as it was before. But when played his more pixelated.

    Some of the images was shot at a lower resolution, but when I put the size of the screen to the appropriate resolution quality always looks bad.

    Would this have something to do with the manufacture of the subitems? Even go back and see the clips that came the subclips: the film is even more 'pixely '.

    Please consider these points for this problem:

    1. it looks in any case related to subitems.

    2 as you mentioned after a break the clips, they look very good, but not the same case playing; It could be linked to the resolution Pause and play in the monitor Panel.

    You can get these settings, either by clicking the exit button in the lower right of the monitor Panel or by right clicking on the items in the monitor Panel.

  • Someone at - it a bug with correction of red-eye in LR 5 of experience?

    No matter what I, whenever I try to use the red eye correction tool, I get the message "can't find red eyes.  Even in images where the red eye is huge and well visible.  Has something changed in LR 5 it would cause?  I have red eyes Correction enabled.  Does anyone else know this?

    I am a rather new LR user, so I would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction before filing a bug report.

    Previously when I logged my INGdirect Bank online account, the window connection come showing images and clickable hotspots. Window connection changed recently, to a text only version. Because it seems to be located on this computer, I tried to download the latest version of Firefox, but didn't get any change, connection always comes back to the text-only format.

    Try to clear your browser's cache.

    Tools > clear recent history... - details and of course Cache hit only is selected, and then select all and click the clear now button.

    I recently bought a new laptop Toshiba A100 and have noticed an icon in the system tray is not no matter what description nor can I get rid of him.

    Of course, not as the sorting, the viewer sees is defined by them not by you - given the same USB you can use the finder to display in alphabetical order, last updated order etc. size - files have no command - the viewer defines the order

    You can select Photos and export using a file for sequential access to export name so if the Viewer uses an alpha sort they correspond to your order desired - you can facilitate this, but they must define their queue viewer correctly for them to see it as you wish

    Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

    I would be happy to provide you with some suggestions that may fix the problem.  I see that the printer cancels jobs when you add a photo to you text document.  The first thing I suggest is to remove the printer by resetting the printing system.  After removing the printer add printer and then try printing the document again.

    To reset the printing system:

    1. click on the Apple in the top left of the computer icon

    2. click on System Preferences

    3. click on printers and Scanners

    4 press and hold 'Ctrl' on the keyboard and click with the mouse in the space below the printer

    5. click on reset the drop-down list printing system

    6. we may request for Mac ID and color wheel for a while until the printer is deleted

    To re-add the printer:

    1. click on the Apple in the top left of the computer icon

    2. click on System Preferences

    3. click on printers and Scanners

    4. click on the plus sign (+) icon in the list of printers

    5 Select your printer

    6. choose HP ENVY 7640 series in the drop-down list next to 'use' or 'print using '.

    7. click on add
