A question about a difference between CS3 and CS6 (sorry if this is a mistake addressed)

When placed in InDesign (CS3 and CS6) a transparent tif (CMYK) image, there is a difference between those who are created in Photoshop CS3 (correct) and CS6 (white background). Why?

Ask in the forum ID and provide all the necessary information such as profiles of colors used layer styles, TIFF, saving options and so on.

  • Questions about a relationship between InDesign and S1000D specification

Hi I have a few questions about a relationship between InDesign and S1000D specification. First, InDesign does not meet an S1000D standard? If so, what questions are supported in InDesign as "S1000D issue 4.1'?." In addition, inflicts InDesign interconnected with CSDB through any creative or other module. I'm looking forward to get useful answers and thank you in advance.

I agree with the screen name of Test in this regard. Technical publications represent only a small percentage of the market of InDesign. And it is likely that the authors of these publications InDesign may not have heard of the S1000D specification.

  • Difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images, unguarded percentage

There is something of a difference between CS3 and CS4 when you place images. The images I'm dealing with right now were vector images, but it could apply to all sorts of images.

When you replace an existing image, the behavior of CS4 is to leave the image full frame. In CS3, the percentage was set at 100% as default (% see you when selecting the image, not the container).

Also when you replace an impage in CS4, the 'internal' picture frame is maintained, while in the C3, the percentage was limited.

Y at - it sort of investment preferences / settings leave CS4 same wat like CS3 did, when you place an image?

    -Andreas

If reliinking keeps the scale or dimensions is now a part of preference in CS4, if that helps.

You can play with this setting and do a few manual rebinding to see if something is appropriate. I'm not a script, but I think you can reset this preference as part of a script.

  • A few questions about the difference between the Satellite P70, L70, S70

    Hello, I have a lot of questions about the P70, L70, S70 series that come with a 1920 x 1080 panel.

    (1) what are the differences between the L70 and S70 series? With the exception of the RAM and HARD drive capacity, books seem pretty identical.

    (2) P70, L70, S70 doesn't support a 2nd HARD drive or it's just the P70 series that support?

    (3) all the three (P70, L70, S70 series) come with the same TFT panels?

    (4) of the above series, which supports mSata?

    (5) all the model of each series are delivered with support from mSata? For example, it could be that L70 - a - 13 m supports mSata is not the case of the L70-a-146?

    (6) all the foregoing, are delivered with a S - ATA II or III S - ATA interface?

    (7) who is the best of these series listed? I'm trying to understand what makes the big difference of S70 to P70 except for the envelope for example.

    Thank you in advance.

    > (1) what are the differences between the series L70 and S70? With the exception of the RAM and HARD drive capacity, books seem pretty identical.

What models Sat L70 and S70 do you mean exactly? There are different L70-xxx-xxx and S70 models on the market that supports different hardware specifications.

    (> S70 2) P70, L70, support a 2nd drive HARD or is - it just the series P70 that support?
As you can see in this [Sam P70 HDD replacement document, | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3903II0000R01.htm] the P70 series supports the 2nd drive Bay HARD, BUT even if there is a 2nd HARD drive Bay, this does not mean that you can use the 2nd HARD drive. In the case where the 2nd HARD drive Bay are equipped with HARD drive connector, you can use the 2nd HARD drive

I also found the [Sam L70/S70 HDD replacement | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3703HG0000R01.htm] the document on the Toshiba page and there I see this 2nd HARD drive Bay is not available

(> 3) all three (P70, L70, S70 series) come with the same TFT panels?
See point 1). Different P70, L70, S70 models were equipped with different material parts.

(> 4) of the series above, which takes in charge mSata?
As far as I know that some P70 models are equipped with an mSATA SSD of 256 GB.

(> 5) do all the model of each series are delivered with support mSata? For example, it could be that L70 - a - 13 m supports mSata is not the case of the L70-a-146?
See point 4) not all models supports the same hardware specifications

(> 6) all of the above, come with a S - ATA II or III S - ATA interface?
I don t think that SATA III is supported. I guess it would be SATA II

(> 7) which is the best of these series listed? I'm trying to understand what makes the big difference of S70 to P70 except for the envelope for example.
Not easy to answer because there are too many models released in Europea.
And not all models are available in each country. So I guess you will have to look for the models that have been released in your country.

  • Questions about the synchronization between output and analog input

    Hi all

I now have a simple task which head a signal voltage (from PXI ao0) on a circuit and then your comments a voltage at the terminals of a component, for example, that one of the resistors in the circuit, through ai0 on PXI. So in this case, the synchronization between analog input and analog output must be made to avoid error of phase shift.

I tried to build my VI by learning this example: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-3882

However I have a few questions.

    1. I noticed that there is a merged error fed the "start task" sub VI for the analog output.  What is the point of fusion to mistake?

    2. I enclose my VI (also shown below) for the output voltage. I put my writing of DAQmx Subvi in the while loop so that I can change the voltage while the VI is running.

However, in the example, the author has been reading outside of the loop and before even the start task. What difference will it make?

    3. I have also attached my synchronized VI. I always put the wavegeneration and the DAQmxwrite in the loop. A bulging guard error saying about samples is not available and needs to a higher sampling rate or a longer wait time. What causes this?

I appreciate that these problems can be solved. Thanks to you all.

    (1) first you need start the task of acquiring, he'll wait for trigger here. And then you start the build task that provides this trigger. If acquisition could trigger and never start.

    (3) you must first write something in the buffer (writing DAQmx), then only you can generate it (Daqmx Start).

Check Cont Gen tension Wfm - Int Clk - no Regeneration.vi in the help-> examples for example.

  • V26, about the differences between Android and iOS

I asked a question yesterday about the Adobe ID number that we use to create multiple Folio and track stats for Android, iPhone & iPad downloads etc.  Now that v26 goes direct, it won't really be a difference between the display of our publication on Android or Apple device. We use about images and texts, really no videos used.

We used to create a good sharp vector folio for ipad, then reuse everything and put it all to "raster" and for Android devices. (we allowed just the device Android to the scale of our content)

    But I'm curious...

Now that v. 26 allows PDF on the Android articles... There is really no need to create another option of folio for us.

    But what about the cost?

If we just download the 1 folio to be viewed on both devices, how understand us what our publication is read on most of the platform?  The service determines DPS what folio will receive a user based on the device ID?

just curious to see how this is handled.

    Thank you.

Analytics is presented separately for each device. If you use SiteCatalyst, you can do various reports based on the type of device.

  • What is the difference between elements and cs6

What is the difference between Photoshop CS6 and elements?

    vitaltheatre wrote:

Photoshop Elements is NOT the same thing in Photoshop CS6.  Photoshop 6 is passed into the creative cloud (CC)

No, there are many versions of Photoshop, older versions don't fade. Photoshop is a program that evolves every evolution Gets a new name and a version number the version number is important when you develop code for Photoshop. If Photoshop 6 is version 6 which evolved to Photoshop 7 version 7 cs version 8 to version 9 of CS2 to CS3 version 10 to version CS4 11 CS 5 version 12-CS6 13 CC version 14-15 version CC2014 version. All this exists.  Version 15 is not backward compatible with any previous version of Photoshop functionality and support have been deleted and new features and added support.

CS6 however is a little weird for are different versions of the CS6 is the perpetual version and versions of the subscription and there, not the same thing not everyone has the same characteristics.  If you want to split hairs there are actually 5 cs6 version and if you want to count 32-bit and 64-bit modules there are 8.  There are only 3 version numbers but for CS6 wit all updates applied.  Mac version perpetual 13.0.6 perpetual version 13.0.1.3 Windows and Mac and PC version 13.1.2 subscription.  The perpetual versions can be standard or extended Photoshop wher the subscription version is Photoshop extended.

Similarly, there are several version of Photoshop Elements.  All versions of the item not a lot of features that Photoshop in general.  Its much cheaper and it has a lot less function then Photoshop.  For many elements has all of the features they want.  It is unless we learn and element has some hand holding the built-in feature for the novice user, which is something that Photoshop does not...

  • Question about the difference between the only creative cloud and complete sets / Photoshop

I am an Adobe Photoshop / CS / CC novice, so I apologize in advance however stupid it may meet.  If I buy Photoshop via the package "single application" will I get to use Creative due to its full potential (masking, layers, sharpness, etc) or should I buy the package "complete individual" which is more expensive?

I have no requirement for Adobe products beyond photo editing and I'm not familiar with other applications / products listed.

    Thank you

If you subscribe simply Photoshop CC, you get the full application (aka, masking, layers, sharpening) as well as the 20 GB of online storage. You will not get one of the other applications like Lightroom or good Illustrator. You get only Photoshop.

  • [JS CS5] difference between CS3 and 5 with paragraph.contents?

It drives me crazy. I'm updating of scripts which ran well in CS3 so that they work in CS5. I ran into a strange (for me) behavior.

After running the following in CS4:

    var myParagraph = myStory.paragraphs.item (myParagraphCounter);

    myParagraph.contents = "< LI >" + myParagraph.contents

myParagraph.contents returns 'paragraph < LI > the text of the original.

But after running the same lines in CS5:

myParagraph.contents returns only "the text of the original paragraph.

What happens here? This seems to be a real thing base... According to me, only missing me something obvious.

I don't know, but as it's the replacement content is dangerous.

I would do something like this:

    "myParagraph.insertionPoints [0] = .silence"

  • ";

    It works as expected?

  • Difference between getDBTransaction and getTransaction

    Hi all
I have a very basic question. What is the difference between getDBTransaction and getTransaction. Is this good to use them interchangeably? Google reminded me an old post on the forum. Unfortunately, the doc in the post has an invalid link.

    Thank you
    Bala

I'm assuming you are talking about ADF business components, because you mentioned the method getDBTransaction(), that a specific method of the ADF BC.

Both methods return the Transaction to the correspondent of the ADF BC ApplicationModule root object.

getTransaction() is a method that is implemented by the oracle.jbo.server.ApplicationModuleImpl class. The method is defined by the oracle.jbo.ApplicationModule interface, if it can be used in client applications ADF BC and components side BC ADF server.

getDBTransaction() is implemented in the oracle.jbo.server.ViewObjectImpl and oracle.jbo.server.EntityImpl classes. This method is not defined in the interface client-side oracle.jbo.ViewObject), so it can be used in the components side BC ADF server.

In fact, the Transaction interface is a superinterface of DBTransaction interface. If you use ADF BC local components (i.e. no remote ADF BC), then the two methods return the oracle.jbo.server.DBTransactionImpl AM root object. If you use remote ADF BC, then the ApplicationModule.getTransaction () method returns an object client that implements the interface of the Transaction and which acts as a proxy for the DBTransactionImpl side of the AM root server-side.
