  in the past, you would get some kind of a stock ticker with the windows product key in case that you want to format the computer or reinstall.

  apprantely now you do not have and I was told to contact dell on this subject.

  The product key is previously injected into the motherboard so as long as the motherboard is not changed, and in case you need to reinstall the operating system that you are using a Dell OEM cd or USB there is no need of the product key.

  Where the motherboard has changed via Dell then you will be provided with the DPK (Dell product key)

  I need to recover of Windows Volume control icon in the Systray.  I went to the control panel and click on sounds and audio devices.  I click the icon for volume control of space in the task bar and get the message of Windows program Volume control is missing.

  If the Internet in your entire House crashes because you have started a program, wouldn't you say that the program is the cause? That would be my first guess. You have 2 pair patch activated for World of Warcraft? This can cause some modems and routers to crash because of the number of sudden connections, it must manage. Any torrent application is the same way. Try to disable in the patch and see what happens. I really doubt that Win 7 * only * is causing your whole House to lose internet.

  You upgrade to Office 2010 or did you do a fresh install?

  KB982158 is an update of security for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007. As you have already installed Office 2010, you don't need this update.
  I suggest you remove all components of Office 2007 from the computer, including add-ins for Office 2007 from the control panel
  and see if that fixes the problem.

  Follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, then Control Panel.
  2. click on programs or features.
  From here you can remove office 2007 and its components.

  Whenever I try to get Windows updates my stalls of computers and the program is not responding.  There are other programs that I can't update as well, but the updates of Windows seem to be the cause of all this.
