  I just bought this TV and noticed on dark/poorly lit scenes either in a Blu - Ray player or even Netflix it fades and brightens.

  It becomes quite boring because on some scenes, he is very sensitive and darkens.

  I did some research and it seems that this problem is not unique and occurs on other Sony TVs. I tried the following:

  -turn off the light sensor

  -turn off the auto contract

  -turn off the dark setting (I forgot the exact name)

  -factory reset

  Despite all these solutions he still dims lights on dark scenes.

  Would be grateful if anyone has a work around for this problem?

  It turns out it was a bad tube. He comes back for another and off black and contrast (I forgot the names) and it goes dark and light during dark scenes.

  Thanks for the return of the response.  I've included the Dell Web site below for the latest drivers, firmware and BIOS updates.  I would like to confirm that you are the first on the updates.

  If you look in the support section, other users have reported this problem.  In some cases, replace the power supply cable has solved this problem and I show other update to the latest BIOS update and this has changed.

  Also, do you have the Dell Diagnostics on your computer?  This is usually installed by the manufacturer, but you can run a test to determine if there is a hardware problem.

  If this happens on two different screens that work fine on another computer, then it is probably a problem with your video card.

  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get the drivers (and you should definitely be for your video card and any other device you have time for - it can only help even if it is not helping to solve this particular problem), do leave the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   If it does not, then it is probably a hardware problem with the video card and you may need to take to a computer repair shop (NOT Geeek Squad or one of these centers of department store) or go back to the manufacturer for repair.  If it's a PC, you can be able to do the replacement yourself if it's a separate card and is not part of the motherboard.  If it's a laptop don't even try not to do it yourself, get professional help.  If you have a spare video card that you can put into the computer rather than the one we think is bad, you should try first to see if it solves the problem.  If the problem goes away, then you know for sure it's a faulty video card.

  You are right that the G16 requires version 8.2 of ACR (first link).

  This shows that your 11 items is too old to be updated to 8.2 or newer (9.3 now).

  So, if you're not updating to 14 items, your FREE option is to use the DNGconverter mentioned in this faq.

  This standalone program is used to batch convert a whole folder of your raw files to DNG format raw that your current version of PSE11 can read and modify.

  Could you please confirm the operating system you are using.

  You can see the status of the application of CC desktop download.

  The CC app desktop click the creative cloud icon located in the taskbar (Windows) or the Apple bar (Mac OS) menu, to open the creative cloud desktop application.

  You need to put your lights in the scene, export your comp in C4D project and then set up your shadows in C4D

  I have a Dimension 9200 bought around 2008. About 3 weeks, I started having issues getting started, until the computer wouldn't start. Lights said a bad video card, so I took out the card nvidia 260 and put the original video card in and the computer worked OK with the original video card. After another week or two, would not start the computer. I bought a used motherboard and succeeded him. When I turned on the computer, I had 2 short beeps and 1-2-3 on on the Panel.   Beep codes should be in groups of three, separated by a short break, for example, 1-pause-1-pause-1. So if you hear 2 beeps, who is not useful.

  According to the Manual, G-G-G-(off) means "another failure", and:

  The problem started when I upgraded my BIOS version A06 to A13 (running A14 now). Now, whenever I turned off my computer, the lights are still up and the fan runs. In order to stop completely, I have to press the "switch" button.

  My warranty expired a year ago.

  Anyone know how to fix this? I suspect there is something wrong with my motherboard, since I can't even get into the BIOS setup when I start my computer.

  Has anyone tried to replace the motherboard? What type of motherboard do need me? Is it possible to buy the "original" Alienware mobo?

  I hope someone is able to help. Comments or suggestions are welcome.
