A trial version installation and activating later?

Hi all

We will install vSphere v. 5 on our server here. VMware option was presented to us by the type of material which assembled yesterday our server. We watched the compatibility and everything is very well and we think it will be a good option for us.

However, we have a guy come in Monday to define a raid on the rise and mount the memory (I only am not much of a person of material so forgive me if I make a few mistakes here) and he needs to VMware, or an operating system that is installed on the machine to do, or so we were told. It will probably take Tuesday at the time have raised a purchase order and paid for the license, so we thought (rather than delay this coming guy) that download us the demo version and activate the next week. I was just curious to know if anyone knows is there all the features that have been limited in the trial version? or it's just the full version with a timer on this subject?

Also, we're going to go with the standard of vSphere kit, something that confuses me however is whenever I download a trial he takes me to this page https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/evalcenter?p=vmware-vsphere-ops which is vSphere with operations management product evaluation Center, which I think that according to this page Entitled VMware vSphere pricing Options is different than standard version. Is this correct? or will be fine for the standard free trial license?

Thanks in advance!

The evaluation contains vCenter Server, ESXi as well as operations management. Which of these components you later want/need of license, according to your needs. The binaries are always the same, regardless of which version register you. It is only the license key that locks / unlocks features.
