• Premiere Pro CC6 and CC7 will not video or still images to the timeline for editing.

  First Pro CC7 and nc6 don't add video or still images to the timeline for editing. It wil play the clip, but that's all.  I tried a lot of different vidoe, mov, avi files and others more, photo jpeg, but not matter what I do I can't move to the time line to edit. I have the 30 days trial version. I watched the tutorial, done the same thing, no luck.

  Ideas and help appreciated otherwise I'll just bin the whole program. I tried it on TOC Final 7 pro and there is no problem (it's on the mac, the first pro is on pc).

  Hi all

  I run a film lab and digitally, I scanner film 8mm one frame at a time in TIFF / BMP / JPEG... etc. I changed PC and CC in the last month and I am wontering how to make video files off even these sequences of images in any application in CC. I guess my best bet is ecoder Premiere Pro or media?

  On my mac I used to use Quick Time which was very simple and easy to do, but before you spend the money to get the full version of QT on my PC, I was wondering if there is anyway I can do it in CC?

  First Pro, After Effects and Media Encoder will recognize sequences of images in a video file as possible as long as they are named in sequential order.  For example, if you have a set of image files named "Test video Footage-# .jpeg. where # is replaced with the number of each image, then first and other image which will treat as a film element.  When you import images, there is a checkbox in the dialog box import indicating the sequence of images.  If this is not available, then first is not recognize the structure of naming as being contiguous. Media Encoder and After Effects have similar dialog boxes.

  You can keep it where you want. If you have other videos at home, it's probably logical to keep this one and the other, be it pictures or iTunes. Personally, I keep videos in iTunes to get a little easier for them on Apple TV.

  What you should not remove it directly from the iTunes media folder. Delete via the iTunes interface, or you may damage the database.

• How to add text on the video and still images?

  CS 5.5. I want to add text credits at the end of a clip on top a fixed image, but I don't know how to do it. I don't want to do some exploring, text just above the .jpg image. I tried to use the title of"to do, but for some reason any title using part of the video for do not return, it comes with a yellow instead of red like the rest of the video in the timeline. I searched the FAQ and google for help and all that shows is how to make a title using text.

• Total newbie trying to do animation from still images

  Hello

  I'm new to the forum.  I made animations in ask and am looking using 10 first elements to create my movies.  I downloaded the trial version.  I imported 120 images rendered in ask and try to run them as an animation at 24 fps.  I've been playing with this software for more than an hour but unfortunately still have no idea how to start even try this.  I did some research on google and the search on this forum, but have not been able to get advice, that I'm looking.  Would be grateful if someone could give me a helping hand with getting started on this.

  Oh I've got get it now.  I chose the option of HD projects because I'm opening a new project.  Not once in the project.  I just made a test HD vid and the diference of quality is very sensitive.  I think I'm a good enough point where I can start right now so I'll mark this question as answared but I'm sure I'll be back with another question.  You were all really helpful and I really apreciate it and if I were ever to see one of you at the Eagle and child (as unlikely because it is like don't don't live near this part of the country) I would ablige you with a drink.

  How to create a movie with Windows movie maker, it doesn't recognize a small video with the extension. My camera kodak MOV.  Windows Media will play sound only.   Quik time player shows video & sound, but it seems to change you must buy software Quik Time.  Is there something that recognizes. MOV and is free?

  If you convert the .mov file to .wmv format
  You should be able to open it in Movie Maker.

  There are many programs that can do conversions...
  The following freeware is an example...:

• Rotating still images in a video-help please!

  Hello, I have the Adobe Premiere Elements 10 mounting system, and I am currently working in a summer project. One of the things I want to do is to create a video from still images, but I'm having a problem, because the images I chose and increased their time line look too choppy, but I want more flow-ey look. What would be the speed or duration of each image? There are other effects that can help to achieve my photo video yet? Also, I'm ready to other suggestions, others have to make a smooth surface, still video image. Thank you!

  I wasn't sure of my schedule for later this evening, so I'll post an example scenario, assuming that you have first Elements 10 Windows 7 64 bit.

  1. place your 10 each to 3680 x 2760 pixels 4:3 pictures in the order of the sequences in a folder on the desktop. No need to resize them in advance ONLY if your Windows 7 is 64 bit and not 32 bit and your RAM installed is greater than 4 GB.

  2. open the first items 10 and set the project preset for

  NTSC

  DIGITAL SLR

  1080 p

  DSLR 1080 p 30 @ 29.97

  3. go to edit Menu/preferences/general and remove the check mark next to the option "default scale to frame size".

  4. then, use Get-Media/files and folder to your desktop folder in the field of the Organization/media. Then drag the whole folder not open early in the editing video track 1. When you do, your 10 photos will be on the Timeline in the order that you placed in the folder.

  5. click on Photo 1 to select. Then go to Properties Palette/Motion expanded Panel and the Scale property. Set the scale to 52.6%.

  6. go back to the Timeline and click 1 Photo to select it. In the Edition Menu, select copy. The other 9 pictures (all at the same time), and then select right

  Click anywhere in the selection, select and click Paste attributes.

  7. to give a time-lapse effect on your 10 photos, you will reduce the duration of each photo. You don't want to deal in seconds, rather the frames (frames 1 to 5 0.033 to 0.165 seconds in a 30 frames per second is set up).

  a. first we look at the effect with the length of 5 frames photo... Select all photos of 10 all at once... right click anywhere in the selection, and then select Timeline Stretch. In the Time Stretch dialog box, change duration of 00;... 00; 05; 00 (5 seconds) to 00. 00; 00; 05 (equivalent to 0,165 seconds 5 frames) Note the effect Timelapse which is performed after you restore the timeline content by pressing the Enter key to get the best possible overview of the chronology of the contents read in edit box monitor.

  b. If you are not satisfied with 'a', the repetition, but this time change the duration to 00. 00; 00 03 (3 images equivalent to 0.150 seconds)... Note the Timelapse

  effect that is performed after restore you the timeline by pressing the Enter key to get the best possible overview.

  c. If you are not satisfied with the 'b', then repeat, but this change of time in the lowest possible value 00. 00; 00; 01 (1 Executive equivalent to 0,033 seconds)... Note the effect of Timelapse obtained after restore you the timeline by pressing the key ot GET Enter the best possible overview.

  See what it looks like. For now, I would not bother with transitions. More than one placement of transition both can be done by selecting all the photos using Timeline Menu/Apply default Transition. But, with these pictures of short duration, I would need to think about changing the default transition duration.

  And I don't see in pans and zooms with short duration that are used.

  Notes: To select more than one clip at a time, you can hold the SHIFT key and click each photo. Or, you can use the trick of mouse cursor to draw a rectangle around the photos to select them.

  I have Photos 1.5 and iMovie 10.1.1

  How to make video from Photos in iMovie so I can include them in the films of projects/home theater?

  The menu shows library of pictures but none iMovie content, even if pictures has the video and still images,

  

  I see no photos to export to iMovie either.

  The only idea I can think of is to drag images of Photos on the desktop and then import it into iMovie.

  Surely, there must be a better way?

  You can simply cut the video and press the sign at the bottom right there will be the drop on the line or you can drag and drop where you want to on the timeline... hope this helps.

  Oh complex - I think I got this one...

  Click component flv and give it the instance name vid.
  Create your buttons onto the scene in place - give everyone an instance name. Fix them in invisible using actionscript.

  Use this code on the image containing the flv file - not to fix this code for the component. It must BE on THE FRAME, not on the component...
