  You must define a site in Dreamweaver and need to set up your FTP server. One for that, you can connect with the FTP server where your FrontPage is loaded and you can get the copy of the said locally.

  My way is (all comands translated from my German DW):

  1 insert an image

  2. click on the image

  3. menu for hotspot tools opens (see screenshot, where I used "Polygon")

  4. click on the image (see screenshot) > give an 'alt' for your image, if you want to.

  I guess there is something wrong in your code it is confusing DW.

  Make sure you work with valid code / clean by running the page through the validator at http://validator.w3.org/nu

  You can certainly change the XML file.  It's exactly what I did to change the colors of my code to a dark background theme.

  Save your old colors first of all, you can come back later.

  Make sure that hidden files/folders are displayed in your file manager.

  Mac:USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS6/en-US/Configuration/CodeColoring/Colors.xml

  Win:C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS6\en_US\Configuration\CodeColoring\Colors.xml

  I'm change forms depending on my needs but otherwise no change in David's instructions

  I'm at the stage where I build add it, manage, update, and delete forms and added different server behaviors. Everything works as it should on the test.

  Next step is to create edit and delete links.

  I select Edit on the page that lists all the records (manage_posts in the tutorial)

  Select URL in the box, select a file

  Click settings from file box

  Enter the name be_index (the primary key of the record)

  Dreamweaver lock completely upwards. You use the Task Manager to shut down and regain control.

  I tried to reinstall Dreamweaver and cache deletion as suggested elsewhere on this site, nothing helps. Database seems OK when examined with phpMyAdmin.

  Use the commands > apply Source format.  This formats your code as you have defined it in the preferences > Code formatting.

  Are you spotted with temporary files?  In Edition > Preferences > Preview in browser.

  I just tested the behavior of Dreamweaver CC open in browser window. It creates slightly different Dreamweaver CS6 code, but it works correctly. This is what is created in the HTML code:

  CC of Dreamweaver also adds the following code to theto the page:

  The MM_openBrWindow() function definition is necessary in thefor the code to work. But it really works OK.

  In regards to the _self and _blank not working do not, I find no problem with how Dreamweaver CC manages them.

  However, if you feel happier working with Dreamweaver CS6, you can download it from the following page:

  Open the menu drop-down slot "in this version" and select next Dreamweaver CS6, as shown in the screenshot:

  However, I now notice that updates applied to the model (updates in a non-editable region) are passed to only some of the pages.

  Hi, can someone tell me why my version of Dreamweaver CS6 has no text in groups of tabs?

  Text is not also apear in the menu drop down insert in the toolbar.

  Insert > text (and all its options) has been removed in the DW modernizing the process because it relies on outdated html features.

  Essentially, you are supposed to control your text via css attributes now in order to comply with the standards of the modern web, rather than html attributes obsolete.

  If I'm not mistaken, this was changed to DWCS6 12.1 Cloud and postponed to CBWMS.

  Is it practice to consider connect my DW CS6 trial to an existing wordpress site, pulling down a local copy of the site, edit in dreamweaver (add a page, a few images, legends) and tem loading to back up the web server where she once more like wordpress? I got to the extent of my limit of danger having pulled down a local copy that has just about everything I see up on the web server.

  However try opening the local site, I am besieged with advice that I need to "discover things, etc. I overestimated the ability to wait for DW? Thank you

  Lol WordPress is filled dynamically the content stored in the MySql database as well as a laundry list of side include files server.  In short, there is nothing to edit in Dreamweaver.   Once your WP site is deployed to the server, you MUST use the WordPress Admin Panel to edit and maintain the content.  Otherwise, you will break the site.

  Feel free to use Dreamweaver to create a new web site or to customize a new WordPress theme.

  I have the following error pop up on Javascript error (s) occurred.

  Adobe Dreamweaver CS6.0 starting after an update. Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 12.  2. I'm on Windows Vista Home edition.

  He suggested to line 17 of file "C:\ Program Files \Adobe Adobe Dreamweaver CS6\ Configuration------Shared\ BC-JS\ bc_ui_utils.js" Messrs. British Colombia has no property.
