Accept the EULA at each startup?

Ask yourself if what is happening to someone else?

Ubuntu 12.04, 64 bit.

Basically, whenever I start my computer, I need to accept the EULA.  This and he never remembers my previous VMs I had opened, as it did in previous versions.

Someone else?

Check the permissions and ownership of your ~/.vmware/preferences file. The acceptance of the EULA is stored in it, and if (for some reason any), it was created as root, and then your normal user would not be able to write to it.

I'm trying to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 because it started to malfunction without reason. I saw several sites similar to the following link: http://www.ehow.com/info_12217860_adobe-acrobat-pro-doesn ' t - remember - eula.html. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, repaired, added the missing information in the registry, and it still doesn't work. This brought our office almost activities to a halt. And I can't talk to anyone from Adobe on the phone about it because they provide is no longer phone support to do this, which is maddening. I ran Diagnostics on my computer and everything goes, but I'm about to reinstall my OS because I don't know what else to do. It will take hours to reconfigure my computer. I would appreciate help from someone in the know. Thank you, Sara

  • Cannot accept the EULA in Kubuntu 14

    Hello

I'm trying to install VMWare Workstation 10 (VMware-Workstation-Full - 10.0.3 - 1895310.x86_64.bundle) in Kubuntu. I can't accept the EULA. I tried to get into the 'yes' and 'y' and neither work. I get a response that I have to agree then the installation fails. I get the following errors in the log:

If someone has encountered this? Unfortunately, I have more a support contract, so I can't open a ticket. I also tried the command line option '--a accepted the EULA "but he replied that it was not a valid option. Funny since typing - aid that provides optional. I already had installed 10.0.2 version, but the 10.0.3 upgrade failed and watered the plant. I also can no longer re - install 10.0.2, so my vm is not accessible until I get this resolved. • Cannot open the PDF in Chrome, impossible to open the standalone player, cannot accept the EULA, etc..

    I use a Mac.

I try to open a PDF in Chrome - I open it fine in Adobe Reader if I download it. When I open it in Chrome, I get the message I have to accept the EULA and revive to open the PDF in Chrome.

I reinstalled Adobe, restarted Chrome and it works fine in Safari.

When I go to the applications folder and try to open Adobe Reader (which is different from opening a PDF file I recorded on my Mac). The menu bar appears but is not the "Adobe" "empty" file - nothing happens but the menu bar.

I searched all the stinking forums and nothing seems to work. It seems to be a persistent problem dealing with simple workarounds.

For example, I tried: Version of Adobe Reader X 10.1.3 - cannot open a PDF in the browser... - does not work

How can I get Reader to open on its own and accept the EULA?

    First remove the following files:

    (i) adobe Reader of / application

(II) in the folder/Library/Internet Plug - Ins:

    (1) AdobePDFViewer.plugin

    (2) AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

    (III) from ~/Library/Caches

    (1) com.adobe. *.

Now reinstall Adobe Reader. And launch the reader Application. Here come the EULA. Accept that and now you will be able to open PDFS in Safari.

Chrome is a browser not supported for Reader/Acrobat. You can check this in the Adobe release notes.

  • Just installed Configurator - how to accept the EULA?

    Hello

I just downloaded and installed the Configurator on my MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.6.3.

When Configurator starts, it displays a window with the end user license agreement. This window has two buttons "Quit", and click a greyed on 'Accept', which does not have a mouse. I did scroll all the text of the EULA to see if there was any suspicion but could find none.

How can I activate the button accept?

If I click the button leaving the Configurator on the EULA window closes (no big surprise).

    Grateful for any advice.

There is a check box, please select the box first, then the "I agree" button will be activated.

  • Problems with the Acrobat PDF acceptance of the EULA in Safari Viewer

We are currently having problems with our Acrobat PDF Viewer in Safari. When users open a pdf file in Safari, he is invited to the first open Acrobat Pro and accept the EULA. We tried a variety of different things, but we have been unable to remove it.

    Here's what we tried:

Adding a FeatureLockdown to the com.adobe.acrobat.pdfviewer.plist and the com.adobe.acrobat.pro.plist blocking EULA, EULAAcceptedForBrowser and bLaunched to true.

Repackaging Adobe Reader with the EULA accepted again.

Remove the Adobe PDF plugins (it had marginal success, but it defines an extract to the default pdf viewer outside of Safari as well.) It takes Acrobat to stay by default.)

I can provide the plist files edited if they are needed.

I managed to solve the problem by applying the following preferences for all user accounts (our deployment toolkit can do for new users and profiles set cache):

    / Users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/11.0/

    Exchange-ProMessages

    SharedDataEvents

    UserCache.bin

    / Users/username/Library/Preferences /.

    com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist

    com.apple.LaunchServices.plist

    / Users/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe /.

    .30142FB7F3A2

    / Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLCache/QUNDRVNTX0NIRUNL.slc

    / Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore/.230E4A0DF1DC

These profile settings user as well as the file plist in the folder/Library/Preferences/Adobe/have solved our problem.

    Hello

Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Put the computer in a clean boot state, then check if that helps you.

How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 2:

Run the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if there are any threats found.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: If no threat found check if the file is necessary or not, then delete it.

Also make sure that the popup is secure and then install if necessary. Windows updates are all secure and this is only the computer and Windows manufacturer. Optional updates are the manufacturer of the computer and the manufacturer of the application that you have installed. Important updates are Microsoft and it must be installed. I also suggest you try to install Service pack 2 on your computer and check if that helps.

Learn how to install Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2):

    Hope the information is useful.

  • How can I get rid of the EULA of Microsoft Office?

Recently I had the opportunity to reinstall Microsoft Office 2003 on Windows Vista. It works fine, except that every time I start Word or Excel or, I guess, another Office program I have to accept the EULA before I can move forward. • Is it possible under the EULA to have several virtual machines on a single physical hard disk while using the same OS license or do I need a separate license for each virtual computer?

I have several programs that are not compatible with my 64 bit Windows 7 operating system.  I would like to run each different software under another virtual machine of VMWare (5 packs of different software programs and 5 different virtual machines of Windows XP).  These would all be installed on your laptop.  I can use the same license of Windows XP for each virtual machine, or do I need a separate XP license for each (different XP in case 5 licenses)?

It is lifted directly from my EULA:

    1. GRANT OF LICENSE.
The manufacturer that you grant the following rights, provided that
comply you with all terms and conditions of this EULA:
1.1 installation and use.  You may install, use, access,
display and run one copy of the SOFTWARE on
THE COMPUTER.  The SOFTWARE may not be used
by more than two 2-processor both on the
COMPUTER, unless a greater number is
indicated on the certificate of authenticity.
    Then...
This means that as long as you are running two or more instances of XP at the same TIME, you agree? Or does this mean that, after you install once, you have reached your limit?
I imagine that most people (including those who are running Microsoft!) will say that the second interpretation is correct.
    However...
If this is the case, anyone their hard drive as a backup to clone strategy would violate the EULA!
