Access db based on login data
I tried all day to understand that and I'm about to go nuts. I have tried everything I can think, and nothing seems to work...I have successfully created a login page for a directory in my site. It works very well. :) I want to load the information of the db based on given connection information, which is a user name and a password (which is compared in minced form against his version of hash stored in the db). Once the user is logged on, it seems that I should be able to get information from the database based on the user name somehow. I thought that perhaps getAuthUser() might work, but I keep getting error messages telling me that the string is a name of invalid column :(
I also tried to use session variables, but, although I followed the form of directives to Ben Forta CFWACK almost to the letter (I had to adjust a bit since I'm using the hash() function) I got a lot of undefined variable errors and I finally gave up and returned to the use of cflogin and cfloginuser.
Users are principals at various schools - I want to be able to compare the user with other schoolID stored in the db and enter their information. (Sorry if I'm redundant but I'm going to will this on teens for hours now...)
The most recent is that now, Dreamweaver does not let me add to my docs recordsets - I mean, I can code in hand, but when I try to use the button I get no love, no nothing.
I'll try to post the code - maybe you can figure out what is the problem.
It is designed to retrieve and display the teaching information depending on whether the teacher is at the same school that the user logged on. I got the code works! I had to move the query outside the cfif... things have started to sink after that. Here's the code to work:

How to manually ADD the login data to my password manager?
I want to manually add a web site and my login data to the list of password manager. I can't use the recommended method because the site is trying to protect access to my account, a protection I didn't need my computer at home. You are using Internet Explorer Version 11, I was able to store my login data for the site, but I can not with Firefox. How to overcome this restriction with Firefox?
Try to click in the user name field, and then click the correct username of the offered suggestion; then the username and password should be completed automatically.

Creating primary key based on the Date
Hi all
I am trying to create a unique ID for each record, based on the date that the record is created. Example, if the folder is created today, I want to the key is 20101130XX where XX is a sequential list of numbers e.g. 01, 02, 03 etc... in the case where more than one person creates a record today.
If 3 people created record yesterday their unique ID would be
2010112900
2010112901
2010112902
and then comes the midnight and someone creates a new record, that it would be
2010113000
This is intended to give each record with a unique ID that will be used to reference the ticket.
We are already using the date format, but currently users have to manually enter the id and who can create errors such as 2011112900 when it should have been 2010112900 then instead of 2010 they put 2011
I'm not sure how to create a trigger to generate this type of unique identification number and would appreciate any help
Thanks in advance
WallyNever said it was perfect, but then again, it is a rather sticky issue... Reset sequence work would be scheduled to run @ some point... You entered in tables past 24/7? I would say that system could be locked for those 5 minutes sequence is updated, or the table is locked to allow no access while the process is...
To be honest, that is the question in the design of a key value that is dependent on outside data, as apposed to a surrogate key, which is generated System... Again, you could have at ONCE and have the surrogate for a key key REAL primary and date + sequence as a secondary key for the use of basic unit of carbon...

Error 1606 could not access work net location of data %/app %
Error 1606 could not access work net location of data %/app % when I tried to down load soft ware for the adobe acrobat reader software. has tried to download it again got new error message, this installation package could not be open, check the package exists and that you can access. It is a free software from adobe.
This problem occurs because there is incorrect entries in the Shell folder of the user who is logged on to Microsoft Windows. When Windows Installer goes to the sale of Shell folder of the user who is logged on to the computer, Windows Installer cannot locate the correct entry. The solution is inhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/886549.
The steps to correct this problem involve editing the Windows registry. Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk. I suggest that you first back up your registry as follows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Back-up-the-registry.
Here are the steps to fix it.
1. click on start, run, typeregedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. look for the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell dossiers\
3 remove the entries that show the path that is listed in the error message.
886549 KBhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/886549: Regedit open again. In the left pane, click User Shell Folders, point tonew, click expandable string value, type the value name that you want to restore (AppData) and then press ENTER. Right click on this value, clickchange, type the value in the value data for the value name box, and then clickOK. The value data must be: % USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming.
Step 8 KB 886549 suggests that you also check the values in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders. However, by fixing my problem, I had not to change values in the registry key. If this does not work, follow ALL the steps in the referenced article.
Good luck.

I had a Blackberry 9700 and I made a back-up via Blackberry Protect App. My Blackberry is stolen and I want to transfer all data (approx. 600 phone numbers) from the back-up to my PC or to my Samsung Galaxy SII that I can borrow temporarily from a friend. Bottom-line: I need access to my back-up data without using a Blackberry device. How does this work?
Hey Sourbag,
Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.
You will need a BlackBerry to access these backup information. There is no way around it in BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Find (weekly) missing date ranges based on the Date of submission
Nice day:
I have a table that contains the data with a date of presentation of the report column. If the requirements are that each employee must submit at least 1 weekly report beginning January 1, 2015, how can I find the weekly reports missing, based on the date of submission of reports.
The ideas that I had:
- Left join by partition by date (range between)
- Create a date dimension view?
Of course, I'm not sure how to approach this dilemma without creating a query of Monster. Sometimes the simplest queries mistake me...
Thank you, Aqua
Here are the DDL for the table with the information from the presentation report (example):

How to hide/show a field based on the data from more than 1 field?
Hello.
I'm trying to hide/show a based on the data of field2 and field3, Field1
in fact using dynamic measurements I can only hide/show Field1 Field2-based, but I need a combination, for example:
If field1 = 'A' and field2 = 'B', then see the field3, other hide field3
y at - it an easy way to do it.
I use Application Express 4.2.4.00.08
Thanks in advance
Dynamic action
On the changes
jQuery selector: #P1_ITEM_1, #P1_ITEM_2
Condition: JavaScript
$v ('P1_ITEM_1') == 'A' & $v ('P1_ITEM_2') == 'B '.
Real Action: show item 3
Action of false: hide item 3

How to plan the report filtered by dynamic date based on the date, the Agent is running
Hello
I have a question about account using OBIEE agent.
If I run an agent today to deliver A report, can I me A report based on the date of last Monday or any dynamic dates?
For example, say is today, December 18, 2013, and my agent is run according to how I put the calendar. Now the content of the delivery report one being delivered. Now A report has a date column, normally this column is filtered by the current date. But if it comes through the agents to different users, the data should be the previous Monday, so in this case, 9 December 2013. When this agent is run once again, declared December 27, 2013, then the report must be filtered by December 16, 2013, which is the previous Monday 27 dec.
Something like this is possible in OBIEE 11 G?
Thanks in advance.
Yala,
Not in a straightforward way
(1) let the report through Agent with filter current Date
(2) after he ran for the first time you can see IBOT name/last execution time (LAST_RUNTIME_TS) in S_NQ_JOB
Create a variable reference 'last_run_agent' to aid in sql to get max (LAST_RUNTIME_TS)
SELECT max (LAST_RUNTIME_TS) from s_nq_job, whose name = "AGENT_NAME;
Change analysis with current date filter report and amend accordingly the condition of filter to filter on repository variable, newly created
Thank you

Get the old value and the new value based on the date
Hello
I have a table called list created below with the rest of the insert statements.
CREATE TABLE ROSTER
(
NUMBER OF ROSTER_EMPLOYEE_DEF_ID
NUMBER OF EMPLOYE_ID
NUMBER OF DEFINITION_REGION_CODE
NUMBER OF DEFINITION_DISTRICT_CODE
NUMBER OF DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE
START_DATE DATE,
END_DATE DATE
)
INSERT IN THE LIST
(ROSTER_EMPLOYEE_DEF_ID, EMPLOYE_ID, DEFINITION_REGION_CODE, DEFINITION_DISTRICT_CODE, DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE, START_DATE, END_DATE)
VALUES
(1,299,222,333,444, 'JUNE 1, 2011', 30 JUNE 2011 "")
INSERT IN THE LIST
(ROSTER_EMPLOYEE_DEF_ID, EMPLOYE_ID, DEFINITION_REGION_CODE, DEFINITION_DISTRICT_CODE, DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE, START_DATE, END_DATE)
VALUES
(2,299,223,334,445, "1 JULY 2011', JULY 20, 2011" "")
INSERT IN THE LIST
(ROSTER_EMPLOYEE_DEF_ID, EMPLOYE_ID, DEFINITION_REGION_CODE, DEFINITION_DISTRICT_CODE, DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE, START_DATE, END_DATE)
VALUES
(3,299,224,335,446, 'AUGUST 1, 2011', AUGUST 30, 2011 "")
INSERT IN THE LIST
(ROSTER_EMPLOYEE_DEF_ID, EMPLOYE_ID, DEFINITION_REGION_CODE, DEFINITION_DISTRICT_CODE, DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE, START_DATE, END_DATE)
VALUES
(4,300,500,400,300, 'JUNE 1, 2011', JUNE 20, 2011 "")
INSERT IN THE LIST
(ROSTER_EMPLOYEE_DEF_ID, EMPLOYE_ID, DEFINITION_REGION_CODE, DEFINITION_DISTRICT_CODE, DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE, START_DATE, END_DATE)
VALUES
(5,300,501,401,301, "1 JULY 2011', JULY 20, 2011" "")
In the table above we have columns like
EMPLOYE_ID, DEFINITION_REGION_CODE, DEFINITION_DISTRICT_CODE, DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE, START_DATE, END_DATE
The result I'm looking for the table above is based on the employe_id OF start_date AND end_date
I need to get the OLD_DEFINITION_REGION_CODE and the NEW_DEFINITION_CODE
Similarly, OLD_DEFINITION_REGION_CODE and the NEW_DEFINITION_REGION_CODE
and OLD_DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE and the NEW_DEFINITION_TERRITORY_CODE
I need to get a row of data for each employee saying old value and the new value
for the employee 299 there are 3 records he puts the new record which is the latest date is to say beginning August 1, 2011 and end date of recordings old 30 August 2011
beginning July 1, 2011 and July 20, 2011
For the data in the table above, I need to get the data as below
EMPLOYE_ID OLD_DEFINITION_REGION_CODE NEW_DEFINITION_CODE OLD_DEFINITION_REGION_CODE NEW_DEFINITION_REGION_CODE START_DATE END_DATE
299 223 224 334 335 20 JULY 11 30 AUG 11
300 500 501 400 401 20 JUNE 11 JULY 20, 11
Please suggest me to get the result above, based on the data. Please let me know if my messages are not clear
Thank you

Can I bulk accumulate based on a date variable?
I want to use some sort of big collect to speed up this query inside a PL/SQL block (we-10 g). I've seen examples of using a FORALL statement, but I do not know how to account for the variable v_cal_date. My idea is to be able to run the script to update a portion of the table "tbl_status_jjs", based on a range of dates that I provided. tbl_status_jjs contains a list of dates per minute of the day for a whole year and a column empty to fill.
I have to use something like
... but that doesn't seem right, and I can't find a note of a bulk collect based on a date. How bulk harvest on a variable date? Can I use the date/time of a subset of records from the final table sort of cursor?FORALL v_cal_date in '01-apr-2009 00:00:00'..'01-jun-2009 00:00:00' -- somehow need to increment by minute!?
Thank you
Jason
-- loop through one day by minute of the day and update counts into table v_cal_date Date :=TO_DATE('01-apr-2005 00:00:00','dd-mm-yyyy hh24:mi:ss'); intX := 1; WHILE intX <= 1440 LOOP UPDATE tbl_status_jjs SET (cal_date, my_count) = (SELECT v_cal_date, NVL(SUM(CASE WHEN v_cal_date >= E.START_DT AND v_cal_date < E.END_DT THEN 1 END),0) AS my_count FROM tbl_data_jjs E ) WHERE cal_date = v_cal_date; v_cal_date := v_cal_date + (1/1440); intX := intX + 1; COMMIT; END LOOP;
Hi, Jason.
I know not if FUSION is faster, in itself, that update or INSERT, but a MERGE statement that changes 3 million lines will probably be faster that instructions UPDATE 3 million each query a table line 2.5 million and then change one line.

Cannot access page Plugin-based PDB (protein Data Base)
OS: MacOS Yosemite 10.10.3. Cannot access the http://www.callutheran.edu/Academic_P.../lzipmast.htm Web page that uses a plugin of the PDB. I don't know if there are plugins for this format (s?), in FireFox, or anything else besides. Safari reports that "the sype file not specified", so maybe there is a mistake in the Web page itself (humor: "these biologists are sloppy with their microscopes to $5 million and more, but they don't know much about computers..")
This page has not been modified since before that Firefox is a browser. There is probably a plugin for Internet Explorer v6 that will display that content. But you'll need a computer with Windows XP SP1 which is never updated Internet Explorer, and then find and install the plugin to make it work.
You can download the file directly, if you want to try to find a program that will open its doors this: http://www.callutheran.edu/Academic_Programs/Departments/BioDev/omm/lzipper/pdbs/lzipdna1.pdb

Hi all
How can we limit and end user of "droping a table."
For example: I created an array of login admin and gave access to "SQL workshop" for the end user. but after that I have created a table, the end user cannot access object browser shop and drop a table. one thing we can do does not have access to the SQL workshop. However, my requirement is the user needs to access the data workshop, which is located under the SQL workshop but they it should not access the tables.
Kindly let me know how we can do this?
Thank you

There is no way not to restrict access to individual tools in the workshop of SQL. Rather than give the developer-level end-users to access the SQL workshop, create applications containing data support Wizards, where end-user access can be controlled using the standard APEX authentication and authorization schemas.

dynamic columns selection based on login in BI answers
Hello
I have a dimension with manager level 1 to 10, based on the user login, I want to display the table with the column (level 1 or level n) dynamically (ex: If the user is in the n level manager, display the level n with other data column in the table). P.S. There are over 10000 + users, so I can not customize each user.
can you please let me know if this is possible and how?
Thank you very muchYou can use the function indexcol to that effect.
