access to the items inside tabcontrol passed as refnum

I'm passing a reference to a TabControl to a Subvi.

I am able to access each 'page' of the TabControl and each control on a page.

These controls are clusters, and there is 4 per page.

I'm stuck on how to access the "values" of these groups.

I've attached what I do so far.

Not sure what the variation of data is the right way to go about it.

This nugget can help. Not exactly your situation but it was written to answer the question "I have a reference, what can I do with it?

  • Windows cannot access the specified device path or file. may not permissions to access you the item.

    Hey guys,.

    I am running Vista on my laptop Toshiba P200D. Recently I was making an error whenever I try to open the files that I downloaded from the internet. The message I get is "windows cannot access the specified device path or file. you don't have the appropriate permissions to access the item "."

    I tried,

    • Safe mode (not to fix)
    • (No luck) system restore
    • check security options - I have full access to the file.

    I am running Vista 32 bit. I have avast antivirus running, but is not working and im unable to uninstall it.

    Any help will be accepted with gratitude,

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris.

    PS I'm the system administrator.

    I do not fashion without failure, I advised a SafeMode with networking for network access using a wired connection to download and install Anti-Malware programs.

    If this does not work:

    Download/save the removal of Avast on a friend's computer tool > transfer it using a Flash Player > uninstall the corrupt Avast.

    Which can be the source of the problem.

    As you can not turn it off:

    If under warranty, contact the manufacturer of your laptop.

    If this is not the case, take it to a reputable repair shop, computer room.

    The description of the problem, I see that you are unable to install World of Warcraft and error message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You can not have appropriate permission to access the item".»

    This problem may occur if you do not have permissions for the file or the location of the file, if the file is located on a site that is not accessible at the moment as a network location or an external drive that is not currently connected to the computer or your antivirus software may block the file.

    Don't worry; Let's try a few steps that will help you solve the problem.

  • Capture, click the item inside the list itemRenderer

    Hello!

    I have a list that opens a window when an item is selected.

    However, I also have an image of 'delete' in the upper right corner of the component of the itemRenderer that when you click on should do something else.

    How can I make sure that when the image is clicked the click does not select the list item, and when the user clicks anywhere else, it is by default in the selection of the item in the list.

    Thank you!

    You will not find a simple way to alter the events of the list control. You are better off simply switch to MouseDown.

  • Access to the button inside Movieclip/ScrollPane

    Hi all

    I'm trying to understand how to create a button inside a movieclip.  I have a model that has movieclips in movieclips, and when I create a button (while using AS2) the button works if I test the stage, but in the whole flash movie it does not work.  I have also a few buttons inside a ScrollPane who also do not call correctly.

    I use this code for my button:

    facebookbtn.on (release) {}

    getURL ("http://www.facebook.com/", "_blank", "GET");

    }

    ↑ This is placed on the button "facebookbtn". I also tried to use: _root.bgPages.pg1.facebookbtn.on (release), does not.

    For the one inside a ScrollPane I try to call a javascript function:

    {We (Release)}

    to import flash.external.ExternalInterface;

    ExternalInterface.call("saveglobalscore",score) ("GroupDelegate", "dayone1");

    }

    ↑ This does not work, with or without the name of the button before it (release).

    I put the FLA here so that if someone has the time, could help me with this problem quickly. Thank you!

    FLA: download FLA

    Different code depending on how you assign it. what you show seems to be mixing up both ways...

    If you place this code on the button, use:

    on (release) {}

    getURL ("http://www.facebook.com/", "_blank", "GET");

    }

    If you place this code in the script that contains the button, do not forget that you gave this name of the instance to the button (in the properties, not the library panel), and then copy the following code:

    facebookbtn.onRelease = function() {}

    getURL ("http://www.facebook.com/", "_blank", "GET");

    }

  • access to the original inside the proxy service message

    I have the proxy (serviceType = Web Service, WSDL) service that is available to the client endpoint and I want to record the incoming message to the file on the disk. However, I want to persist any incoming message exectly (at the byte level) as it was sent by the sender (so with the envelope).
    Inside of the proxy service I have access to variables such as header, body etc. However, they are not good for my purpose because they differ from the corresponding parts of the original message. For example xmlns:soapenv = namespace "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" in the original message
    defined only at the level of the envelope and not the header or body. But in the header and body available inside the proxy service variables they (namespaces) are visible. Mayby there are more differences, but this one is visible at a time.
    It is therefore possible to access (in order to save it) original message somehow? Any magical variable? Or mayby there is a way of saying the osb to be persisted (incoming query) in file? (it would be enough for me (of course I need file name).) I manage file by myself more far away).
    All advice appreciated

    If you choose the type of service that WSDL based or service of any SOAP, then OSB motor deconstruct the incoming SOAP envelope and complete parts of the envelope (header, body etc) to automatically correct context variables. This occurs before the flow of messages of proxy service is initiated, so you can't do anything. In the proxy service, you will receive the deconstructed only SOAP message.
    If you wish to record the exact message that has been received by the OSB, then change the type of service to (or create another proxy service in front of the existing proxy) type Messaging with text or binary content. Or you can also choose AnyXML service type, in which case the incoming SOAP envelope will be available inside variable $body in mail flow.

  • When I insert a CD of the application, I get the error message - 'windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have access to the item. I tried pretty much everything including a new CDROM and loading on safe mode.

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

    Hi Mefrombigd,

    1. it happens with all types of CD?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    3 when was the last time it was working fine?

    4. you receive the error message when you insert the CD into the CD drive?

    Method 1

    Check if you can access the contents of the CD using Windows Explorer application.

    (a) click the start menu, and then double-click computer.

    (b) make a right click on the CD drive, click Open.

    (c) check if you can access it.

    Method 2

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Reset the computer to start as usual

    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    I hope this helps!

    All the problems you describe are problems that could occur if the user that you are connected without administrator privileges.  The quick check of administrator privileges must right click on the button 'start '.  If "Open All Users" is one of the choices that appear, then you have administrator privilege.  Otherwise, you must connect to your machine like the built-in 'administrator' or a user in the group "Administrators".

    Assuming that you have administrator privileges, things get more complicated.  User rights can be granted or denied to any user - even administrators - by group policy.  If you are an administrator and you have XP Pro, then you might be able to check or change the user rights by using the Group Policy Editor (from-> Run-> "gpedit.msc").  Search in the:

    Computer configuration-> Windows settings-> security settings-> local policies-> user rights

    path.  One of these user rights is "Change the System Time".  If your XP Pro machine was never part of a domain, I would consider also running a program anti-malware on your system.

    If you have XP Home Edition, you don't have the Group Policy Editor.  You will need to check / adjust / modify your user rights by using the command line program "NTRights" provided with the Resource Kit.  Problems like that with XP Home would raise my suspicions that you have a malware infestation.
