access to Wnidows media player radio disappeared

What happened to access to the radio option in windows media player "media guide"?  He has been replaced by an advertisement for a paid service called 'something Groove. "  How can I access new free radio?  I have windows 7 professional 64 bit.

No problem, it's one that is very close.  Spotify is another service very similar to Groove, Apple Music, Google Music or even Pandora.  But iHeart looks more like a combo: music and radio stations.

  • Windows media player music disappears reappears does not recognize files

Can someone help me?  I have a problem with the recognition of music files (MP3, WMA, etc.) in Windows Media Player 12 (version 12.0.7601.17514).  I'm on Windows 7, 64-bit, on my computer tower to my main hard drive. I store my media (mainly), MS Office, PDF, and other various files on disc 2 of the secondary, internal size TB.  I have an external USB hard drive enclosure I can insert my player with internal 2 TB.  This allows me to take my multimedia files with me on vacation at home.  I can use this external box to read the media on other people's computers files, when I go on vacation.  When I put the internal drive in the external case in media players, the files appear, but do not work.  Their Player Windows Media displays a red "X" next to a lot of music album files and, when these red "Xs" appear, they appear in a cluster through the album of music together.  On my home computer, these Reds 'Xs' do not appear!  Another thing, some of the albums mysteriously disappear and reappear weeks later.  However, some of the files, when I play, his corrupt and static as in some places.  Sometimes the music files will play at Midway until it cuts and a red 'X' appears.  What happens here?

  • Problem VLC media player - option of the context menu "add to vlc media player playlist" disappear in the selection of multiple files.

OK, here's my problem. I installed VLC. It works very well. I have 'Add to playlist in vlc meadia player' on the pop-up menu file.

PROBLEM: If I select more than 16 files and then "Add to vlc meadia Player playlist" disappear from the file context menu.

ANNOYING: This stupid Windows Media Player is still there.

QUESTION: Why vlc disappear from the file context menu if I select more then 16 files but wmp doesn't?  Is M$ trying to force people to use WMP?

I also did my OWN program and he added in the context menu, and I discovered that my OWN program has also 16 files limit.

Why windows deletes non MS program context menu, if I select more than 16 files? How can I solve this problem? I want to have my custom context menu program, even if I select more than 16 files.

    How to fix this?

  • Windows Media Player is missing in Set Program Access and Computer Defaults

I recently discovered that when I wanted to install a default media player, Windows Media Player was absent from "Default programs". When I ran a search on this problem, I had the suggestion that I enable access to Windows Media Player with "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults." However, when I tried this, I found that Windows Media Player was also absent from "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults"! Now, what I want to know is, how to restore Windows Media Player in the list of Set Program Access and Computer Defaults?

Here's a hint: I do not have full access to Windows Media Player via the start menu.

    Hello, Brandon Taylor,.

We will try to reset the Windows Media Player by using the following steps:

Uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Media Player:
    Step 1.
    Uninstalling Windows Media Player:
    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. search for multimedia and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer

    Step 2.
    Reinstall Windows Media Player:
    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. find the multimedia functions and place a check mark in front of the Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer.

Now, go to default programs, Windows Media Player is displayed now?

If please reply back and let us know if this can help, or if you still need help.

  • Pavilion Notebook: Windows Media Player went

Somehow, my Windows Media Player has disappeared from my laptop. The HP-1000 refuses to play any DVD and no symbol. How to restore the media player?  When I search for apps, it indicates that the player has been charged on my PC. Confused; Help, please!

The solution does not solve my problem. My PC using Windows 8 can not download the free update for Windows 10, so I don't even havwe no DVD playback capability. Why not upgrade?

For info Windows 10 has more than WMP or DVD playback option which is a $15 app, you have to buy through MS Apps store to get this option again.
