  I see you are using the Time Stretch feature in the timeline.  It can be difficult to use: the point becomes the out-point, so cut ins & outs on layers extended time becomes a problem.

  It is not that much trickier to accomplish the same thing using a single layer more time-remapping, but it IS a different set of the delicate itms... above all, knowing when the significant layer time codes events occur and plug these values into the appropriate keyframes.

  I have a video of the source of long, 10 minutes (actually a series of film clips 16mm which were telecined to a single uncompressed .mov 10-bit with continuous timecode by a film laboratory) on my project timeline.  I need to be able to export a small section of the timeline for individual .mov files - and I need to be able to open the short .mov files in a logging of film application called F5.  Currently, I'm making these videos in H.264 .mov files, since it is a format that F5 can read.  Rendering/export selection "work area" of my project works very well, so it's no problem.

  The problem I have is that timecode of the resultant .mov H.264 files do not match the time code on the timeline of the project of my first - they always start at 00:00:00:00.  I don't want that.  If I made (for example) a section of 00:05:10:00 to 00:07:00:00 on my project timeline, I need time to start exported .mov file code 00:05:10:00 and the 00:07:00:00, does not restart at 00:00:00:00.  Is this possible?

  I'm in first Pro CS6.0.2 on a Mac OSX 10.8.2, all installed updates.

  There is no simple way and automated for this - basically, you talk about a workflow proxy roundabout. PR is not the best when it comes to these workflows, unfortunately.

  The simple but tedious is to drag a master HDV clips to the corresponding element of Cineform in a sequence, hold down the Alt + Shift and drop it on the original clip from Cineform. This will make a game framework (using timecode) replace edit.

  You can also replace each main element Cineform in the tray (a,); just right click on a Cineform clip in the tray, select replace sequences and navigate to the corresponding HDV clip. This shouldn't be too bad if your Cineform clips all use filenames HDV original; extensions, of course, be different.

  You can also hack the project file XML to replace all instances of-Cineform, but that can be a little hairy (although much faster). This means your HDV and files Cineform with same file names, however. If they are not, no more than the foregoing are your best course of action.

  PrPro and AfterEffects, there a timecode effect, that, when applied to a transparent video Clip will do exactly what you want. We can size and position (fixed effect > Motion > scale & Motion > Position), depending on the needs. The version in AfterEffects will also allow color and change fonts, as is required. 4 pre (my version) does not have the timecode effect, but I don't know about later versions.

  There is a plug-in, DVDate (there are actually two, but I am referring to the free Russian one), might be able to add timecode to your videos, but I've never used, as I PrPro and AE. You can explore DVDate, to see if it works for you.

  If not, contact me by PM (from your profile > personal Messages), and I can get the exact details, such as time, the approximate size, from point, etc. and can create a DV - AVI (or similar) of the transparent video with the added timecode effect. I'm not able to backup using time machine and bought an external hard drive PassPort but I find it pretty annoying having to plug it in to my MBP whenever I want to do a backup. I would like to use the most convenient airport on my MBP feature, however, it seems pointless unless I have connected to my Netgear router/Modem base station. If I have to buy a base station to make the backup of my MBP easier? I also use 6s and iPad Air iPhone. I would be able to save these features too? Thank you!
