Access window.resize function

Hello

I want to access a function of an event "window.resize" on the stage, and I need to access the function is in an element called "Tick" in the CreationCompleted of this clip (please excuse my English)

I tried without success that

SYM.$("graduation"). MadeGraduation();

and

sym.getComposition () .getStage () .getSymbol ("Graduation"). MadeGraduation();

and

sym.getComposition () .getStage (). $("Graduation"). MadeGraduation();

any idea?

Thank you

Hello

I understand you want to "call" a creationComplete function (symbol) to window.resize

==> A demo file can be downloaded here: https://app.box.com/s/xr35fqf9pogp84a1inw9

I apply edge API: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/edgeanimate/api/current/index.html#symbolinstance setVariable

creationComplete:

function MadeGraduation () {...};

sym.setVariable ("myGraduation", MadeGraduation);

Window.Resize:

sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getSymbol("Graduation").getVariable ("myGraduation") ();

  • VI - ShGetFolder security and Windows API functions

    Hello

    Let me explain what I'm doing.

    In order to ensure a program and ensure that it can be installed only on a single computer; I read the MAC address of the PC, manipulate the MAC address to produce an activation code.  The user give me their address MAC and I give them the activation code for them to enter.

    The question is where to store the activation code.  I use LV 8.0 and Vista, but the software could be deployed to computers using XP or 2000.  Previously, I had decided to use the Windows registry to store the activation code.  However, I have since discovered that when I write in the registry under Vista the entry is not found.  I can be read ok but can't find it.  Where is it in Vista?  A search in the registry will not locate.  I find in XP ok.

    I need a reliable place to put the activation code once users have entered.  I've seen suggestions of using the Windows API function ShGetKnownFolderPath (Vista) and ShGetFolder (XP, it works for the year 2000?).  These features would allow me to do what?

    How can I use the fnctions of Windows APIs such as ShGetFolder?  I have no idea.

    Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Continuation of the last post...

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER will probably work for you. It's a little difficult but when different Vista users use the application.

    Be careful with Mike's suggestion. By default, it is not possible to write to the Program Files folder (even once, unless you run the application as administrator or you grant full access to the folder/file to the user or the group "Authenticated users").

    The application data folder may also be a good place to store. To get the path, you must use the Windows API to return the path of the folder. Implementation of the present can be found on the LAVA (post #7).

    Hope this helps,

  • ListBox ScriptUi beyond window resize

    I know that it's not specifically about InDesign scripts, but it will be integrated in an InDesign script and InDesign scripting have a reputation for being the smartest!

    What I find is when a listbox is larger than the window, it extends beyond the window and is not accessible. If I apply a layout.resize () function to the event window onResize, fixed list box its self when I resize the window.

    var w = new Window('dialog', undefined, undefined, {
            resizeable: true
        });

        w.orientation = 'row';
        w.alignChildren = 'top';
        w.maximumSize.height = 400;

        var myList = w.add ('listbox');
        myList.alignment = ['fill', 'fill'];

        var item;
        for (var i = 0; i < 200; i ++) {
            item = myList.add('Item', i);
            item.checked = true;
        }

        w.onResizing = w.onResize = function() {
            this.layout.resize();
        }

    w.show ();

    Screenshot-2016-04-08-09.33.09.gif

    How can I do so that the listbox control is part of the window show?

    Also a second problem: I have a condition where the controls are not displayed when I scroll through them quickly. When I click on the element with the missing check marks, they appear suddenly. This seems to be a problem of refresh. Is there something I can do to solve this problem as well?

    For the first question, add an onShow event:

    w.onShow = w.onResizing = w.onResize = function() {}

    I am not able to reproduce the second question, however.

    May be a corrupt .plist.

    Make a backup, preferably 2 backups on 2 separate drives.

    Quit the application.

    Go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select the library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist.  Move the .plist on your desktop.

    Restart your computer, open the application and test. If it works fine, delete the plist for the office.

    If the application is the same, return the .plist where you got it, crushing the latest.

  • Cannot install Itunes: ER MSG: cannot access WIndows Installer

    My first installation of Itunes did not. Prob. tried to install the 32-bit version on a 64-bit computer.
    Now, all I get is error 'Can't access Windows install' message when I trey to update, reinstall or uninstall.
    Tried to follow KB support 315346 re-register msiexec for 32 and 64 bit - no idea if it worked but Itunes still generates the error message.

    Hello

    Please use the Windows Vista Forums.

    Start the Windows Installer service

    1. Click Start, type Services.msc and press {ENTER}

    2. double-click on Windows Installer

    3. set the Windows Installer to Manual startup type

    4. Click Start to start the service. Note the error message, if any.

    5. click on OK.

    Make sure that the Windows Installer is not disabled if group policy.

    a. Click Start, type gpedit.msc in the search box and press ENTER to open the Group Policy object editor.

    b. click on Computer Configuration, administrative templates, click Windows components and then click Windows Installer.

    c. double-click Disable Windows Installer on the right side.

    d. make sure that the configured or disabled option is selected.

    If this does not help, check that the location of the Msiexec.exe in the Windows registry file matches the location of the Msiexec.exe file on the hard drive. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    2. in the left pane, click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, click SYSTEM, click on CurrentControlSet, click Services, and then MSIServer.

    3. in the right pane, double-click ImagePath.

    4. in the dialog box change channels, make sure that the string in the value box contains the correct path of the Msiexec.exe file on the hard drive. This is the way that you saved in step a, a - c. For example, if the Msiexec.exe file is located in the drive: \Windows\System32 hard disk, the correct path of the Msiexec.exe in the zone data file of value is the following path:

    drive: \Windows\System32\Msiexec.exe/v

    Note in this path, drive is the drive where Windows is installed. The "/v" at the end of the path is a parameter required by Windows Installer. Do not delete it.

    5. If the value box does not contain the correct path, type the correct path in the box, and then click OK.

    Note Add "/v" until the end of the path, as shown in the previous step.

    6. close the registry.

    Reregister Windows install.

    a. Click Start, type %windir%\system32\msiexec / unregserver in the search box, then press ENTER.

    b. type %windir%\system32\msiexec/REGSERVER, and then press ENTER.

    If this does not help, run SFC/scannow to replace all system files missing or corrupt.

    This command will launch immediately the System File Checker to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replace all the files with which it detects a problem.

    1. click on start

    2. click on all programs

    3. click on accessories, then right-click on the command prompt.

    4. Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"

    5. click on command prompt

    Type SFC/scannow

    The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

    Hi 1FallenAngel,

    Firefox does not connect to the Microsoft update site. You must use internet explore for it.

    Please provide us with the error you are getting while trying to connect using internet explore. We would require the error code or error message for further investigation on the issue.

    In the meantime, you can try running internet explore in no add-on mode and try to access windows update.

    • Click theStart button, click principally made programs, on Accessories, click System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

    If disabling all add-ons solves the problem, you can use the add-on Manager to disable all add-ons and then turn on modules only as needed. This will allow you to figure out which add-on is causing the problem.

    In Internet Explorer 8, you can disable toolbars by clicking theX on the side of the toolbar. If there are additional modules associated with the toolbar, a dialog box will be displayed where you can keep or disable the Add-ons.

  • XP PRO SP3 - cannot access windows updates

    Currently, I have restored to the factory setting on a laptop computer windows XP Professional and was able to download and install service pack 3. I also downloaded Explorer 8 - he kept if overwrite then I uninstalled and am on Explorer 7. Now, I can not access windows updates. I get the site and the status says done but I have an empty window. I also have problems with other programs - it seem to not be able to access a file that is on my computer. I was hoping that longer running updates could fix my problem. Help, please

    I would recommend from square one again. This time, do exactly as follows:

    Personal data backup (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then format the HARD disk and do a clean install of Windows.  Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) will NOT fix it!

    HOW to do a clean install of Windows XP: see method 1 and http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html#steps in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/978307

    Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything on the next page before connecting the machine to the internet or a local network (i.e. other computers) and before using a USB or SD card that is not brand new, or has not been freshly formattedotherwise:
