access XML data outside the charger function

I want to load my XML, wait the full loading and then be placed to access the XML data loaded in the major part of my program. I do so because I want to load and process, such as XML or superior to 10 in this project... Its here the code that I wrote

Why did you declare c? Just use it inside processbase, instead of one, and you can use it elsewhere...

    I'd use the XMLGEN package. But the environment team says no mounted drives in the future with the arrival of the EXADATA.

    I need to use the REEL spool the resulting XML data of the SELECT query.

    SQL is a standard in my org, but I can do with a PL/SQL solution also to load data into a table (cannot use a COIL with PL/SQL)

    What I do is:

    1. a column of type CLOB to a xml_report of the loading of the above SELECT query table
    2. Then using SELECT * FROM xml_report to SPOOL the data to a file report.xml

    No need of XMLTYPE data behind. Xml data stream is fine for me.

    In addition, I need to validate the XML file, also using XSD.

    Problem is that the resulting lines of the select query are supposed to be from 15000 to 20000 bytes long.

    Oracle database version: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit Production

    A Suggestion or a solution to this problem would be appreciated.

    You use the right method.

    There is an implicit conversion from XMLType to the data type VARCHAR2 as expected by the function TO_CLOB, where the limitation, and the error.

    To serialize XMLType to CLOB, use the XMLSerialize function:

    For the rest of the requirement, I wish you good luck trying to spool the XML correctly.

    You may need to play around with the SET LONG and SET LONGCHUNKSIZE commands to operate.

    Of course, you'll want to change the types of data, etc. as needed.

    I assumed that the XML can contain several "" sections and that each section can contain several entries.

    Thus the XMLTABLE aliasing as 'x' gives information of XML, and supplies the data associated with the XMLTABLE with alias 'y' which gets the multiple authors, which itself section of the XMLTABLE with alias 'z' for each of the article_item.

    CDATA stuff are handled automatically by SQLX (XML functionality integrated into Oracle's SQL)

  • How to access a CFC outside the web root

    I need to access several of the CFCS that are sitting outside the web root, however, I can't seem to find the right way to call the component.  For example... My Flex project is located in a folder under the web root.  My CFC sit in a folder at the same level as the web root.

    To illustrate:

    The web root is c:\coldfusion8\wwwroot

    CFCS are in a folder c:\coldfusion8\com

    A CFC that I need to access is named fxCFC and is located at c:\coldfusion8\com\fxCFC.cfc

    The Flex project is named fxProject and is located at c:\coldfusion\wwwroot\fxProject

    The application is called main.mxml and resides in c:\coldfusion\wwwroot\fxProject\src\main.mxml

    I can't call the CFC using "com.fxCFC" as my compiled application cannot see the component.  I guess that since the CFC to sit above the root.  Is there a way I can access?

    Hi, I am currently working on a calendar of upcoming events. I have everything works fine, including the loading of an xml database based on the month and year in the temporary within the XML onLoad section tables, but my problem is obtaining data in a table that I can look in my DrawDays() function. Right now I'm pushing the content of the temporary table in loadXMLevent() in _root. Calendar.event_text_array and this table is filled up until I get into the DrawDays function. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I deleted the code associated with this email.

  • Reflecting changes in XML data in the file swf online

    Hi friends,

    I have access to an xml file that is in the server permanently with the intervals of distinct time of my swf in a page online.

    If I make any changes in the xml data it does not reflect my online page because it's access to the XML content offline.

    How to avoid this? I want my page be reflected immediately when I make a change in my xml file.

    Is there any wawy to clear the content offline in ActionScript or ASP?

    Just add a variable to change to the URL of the xml file:
    XML. Load ("Data.xml? foo =" + getTimer ());

    In this way, the URL is never the same, so the XML is loaded each time. You cannot test this film more locally, because it throws file not found errors, but with a server it works fine.

    Is there a way I can load some data from an XML file in the Oracle Tables, without going through the input file XML in a directory of the Oracle server. My XML file resides on the UNIX application server. And I need to load the data directly into database tables. Without load them into the database directory.


    Also, I'm looking for a solution that would not load my database much and affect other processes running. Can be done using SQL Loader?

    There I helped to learn a lot of options.

    But the easiest using UNIX server that worked for me was to use an XSLT transformation to convert the XML file to a delimited file. (Load the unix server, save the Oracle resources).

    UNIX 'xsltproc' feature was not a bad option.

    Then use SQL Loader to load into tables.
