• Fillable form data disappear after the backup

  I downloaded a form with fields to fill in, and it took more than an hour to complete.  After saving the file, when I reopen it, data Flash in the form fields, then disappears.  Where does go? And how do I get it back?  What can I change to prevent that from happening?  I really don't want to have to re - type everything that data again...

  I use Acrobat 9 Pro on a pc Win 7...

  EDIT... I changed my Acrobat CD player and got the same result.  Data flashes across the fields, and then disappears.  I also sent an email (form) to another computer with the same result in opening.

  The form is probably put in place so that the fields are reset to zero when it is open. You can try to disable JavaScript before opening the form and if it relies on JavaScript, turn it back on once the form is loaded.

  To disable JavaScript, select: Edit > Preferences > JavaScript > enable Acrobat JavaScript [deselect]

• Internet Adobe forms do not display the data in fields

  You must configure the browser to open PDF using Acrobat or Reader. You can see the top right button that will allow you to do. Firfox now has a built-in PDF reader, and it is not very good.

  The basic plan is to build forms in my application dynamically using a dictionary of data rather than their based on static tables and have statically coded forms to match. This would allow me to provide the ability for an administrator to add new fields if necessary (customer "requirements" are difficult to identify and can therefore change).
  
  I develop using CF8 (hoping it will come out very soon..).). Request will be structured using Fusebox 5.
  
  I tried to build the form elements (< cfinput > & etc.) off in the CFC, the result code of return in a variable content layout and its does not work.
  I have some other approaches to try, but it would be better.
  
  Anyone else tried this - and you have any advice to offer (or just crazy I try it because there is no way to work his will?)

  Fair enough, I suppose there are advantages to use cfform, although I'm not a big fan of flash forms...

  I noticed in another discussion on this topic HERE that ALEXANDER suggested to use a custom tag to achieve this functionality.

  I have not tried it myself, but it might be useful at a glance.

• Why is there not an option to print only the form data in Adobe XI?

  I created a form in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and saved.  So I want to open it in Adobe Reader, fill it in and then print only the data from the form, but it is not an option to print only the form data in Adobe Reader XI.  I don't know if it's in the way I created the form or something else.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

  Adobe is a software company, unless you are a builder.

  Player cannot directly print the form data.

  The ability to print the form data only exist in Acrobat Professional and Acrobat Standard. To purchase the full product provides more bang for the buck.

  Where can I find detailed information about the process of sending the pdf form data stored on the Web site of the sql database stored on the web server? Where I can find some samples, I could use to build my form and script related.

  If you want the form to communicate directly with the DB, you need to configure a DSN on each of the machines, which will take place in the form. Note that this wil only work on Windows machines. Also, the form must be started for the script runs (you mentioned the PDF has been stored on the web server). I have some examples that show how to deal with a DB, but attachments do not seem to work properly on the forum yet. If you cannot retrieve post them your email and I will send them to you directly.

  For what you are trying to do, it does not appear that the JavaScript code that gave you George is necessary. The script that he gave is rather simple with the added sapce between each item, but with the operator are simplified which each string and space at the end of the previous sValues (a type of operator, which is also in C / C++).

  However, at the point. What you want you can work to simply add a text field for each item and you want to display with the formatting you want (and), then just use a similar something like JavaScript

  getField("Text4").value = getField("Text1").valueAsString;

  to produce the field. Repeat this step for each of the fields to display. I don't know George or someone else will correct the script if I messed it up.

  You define the data of application correctly when creating on-demand via the API? There is also the correct attribute in all reference maps data? What about the attribute itself? It is in the form of parent or child?

  Just a dummy code, but it's the overall structure. Once you have submitted the request and commissioning successful, you should see the data in the form of process.

• Exporting data, export to the file but cannot save

  Hi all,
  
  I have a user goes into basic shapes, exports data to form itself. Gets the exported data, but not the dialog to save the file or open it.
  
  As a matter of fact when the exporter stands... a browser window opens, then disappears within 1-2 seconds.
  
  But if you press the 'Ctrl' key continuous export and we get the file save or open the box.

  I thought that this problem has been awarded for pop up blocker. But the pop blocker has been disabled by using Internet Explorer.

• Whenever I open a PDF document, I get a screen pop all few minutes cabbage Adobe.ARM says Windows cannot access the specified... maybe not permissions.  Otherwise, the document is correct.  How can I get rid of this message?

  Although PDF documents open and close normally otherwise, I get of an annoying pop-up message as follows box:

  Head: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0\AdobeARM.exe

  Message: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

  I just continued to closing the message only to reappear a few minutes later, if I close it up!  Is there a way to get rid of this?

• How to access the data in the row (text of children) in a pragmatic control tree?

  In LabVIEW 2010, I entered the data in row a tree with pragmatism control using the Add item and providing the child text table and the child tag for the line. When a row in the tree control is selected, I can get the line label in the Value property of the tree. But how do I access the data in the child text table when the line is selected? I can't seem to find a tree control property or method which will return data back.

  What I'm trying to do is: once a line in a tree is selected and a button is pressed, if the line tag is valid, I want to transfer all the data in row in another tree the same formatting. For this I need the data for the tree line and the line that was selected. I don't find a way to get access to these data of the line when it was composed in the tree.

  Can someone tell me how to access pragmatically the child text or row data in a tree control from a selected line in the tree? I have the label of the line, but how do I access data?

  Looking through numerous examples, I found how to do this using the properties ActiveItemRow and ActiveColNum, but I can't find these documented properties anywhere using LabVIEW. Even research through aid could not do anything about them.

  Where these important parameters are documented?

  Why they do not appear in the help?

  Are there other ways to access the data in the row (child text) form a selected line in a tree control?

• I installed everything recently last Adobe reader. I get the following error "this PDF document contains shapes. The filing of form fields is not supported. Open with different Viewer"Please advise.

  I am filling in the online form, but does not allow me.  It downloads the PDF, but I need the forms either online, so that I can complete and submit within the same window. Unfortunately do not know why he keeps giving me the error message.

  Player version: downloaded the latest

  Initially, I tried to access the pdf forms via Mozilla Firefox, but then I thought to try it on Internet Explorer. I then decided to stop go shopping and come back and try again.

  I came home and started my laptop computer, open Internet Explorer up-to-date options internet, site Web captured and viola I could access and view pdf online forms.  Managed to filled forms and all works fine now!

• Save PDF or Get XML of independent form data

  We are working on a project where we have a LiveCycle form that is bound to a schema.  We also have access to LiveCycle services ARE forms and COME out.

  When a LiveCycle form is accessible, we send our XML pending applications and the form in the service template ARE forms, to get our form of LiveCycle partially filled for the display of the end user.

  The user then fills all remaining information and of 'Saved' the form, how we extract the XML using XFA locally (with SaveXML()) to write all changes to the database.

  This is the issue that we have-

  We must be able to take a copy of the completed PDF file to save (all entries by the data user included) on a file share, so we have a complete record of the information of the form that has been filled.  Some of the fields on these forms are not related to our schema, because they could be fields that do not exist in our database, but still must be completed on the form and saved in PDF format.

  The SaveXML() only returns related to the schema fields, so if we call the output with the original model and our XML result service, we have not all unrelated areas.  In addition, our users use Acrobat Reader, that they may not be able to 'save forms with data '.

  Given the services we have, and the features of LiveCycle - what can do us 'Save the PDF file'... just if we can capture that any file PDF that has been filled by a user?
