Accidental deleted registry

I accidentally deleted programs I thought I didn't need. When I went to use my printer (HP) it no longer works. Since then, I reinstalled all my windows disk and still no program. Help

You will need to reinstall the programs. They are not on the Windows disc. If programs are preinstalled on your computer, since you have a HP you have the HP recovery discs - if you do - or can start the recovery process by pressing a key of function (such as F10) when the computer starts. There will be a message on the screen to start the computer that tells you which key to press. One of the options will be No destructive recovery to restore the drivers and applications. A destructive restore will restore your computer as long as the factory and you will lose all your data, so be careful.

If the programs (such as the printer) were those that you added yourself and was not pre-installed, you will need to reinstall them with installation of the program CDs or installers downloaded from the Internet. For example, for the printer, you would go to the printer mftr Web site. and get the right drivers for your system (Vista 32 or 64-bit), download them and install them then. No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
    are a few others.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external

Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

  • Accidentally deleted battmessage2 (or a similar name) in regedit... help!

Hi guys; I have a Thinkpad T61 with Windows XP.  I went into regedit to edit this registry key...

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\PWRMGR\Data\BalloonStayTime

.. .in the hope that this would eliminate the black exclamation point inside a triangle which has now popped up, which indicates that the battery installed is not a real battery Lenovo (side note: change BalloonStayTime do not get rid of the message).

In a gesture of bonehead classic, while in regedit, I accidentally deleted a different registry key, called something like: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\PWRMGR\Data\BattMessage2URL

What I deleted is the real link that go you if you double-click about to exclamation.

Yes, I know I should have saved my registry key before making changes, but I did not because I am what is called a fool.

I googled cela but can't find it so posting it here in the hope that someone can tell me the name of this key and URL that goes with.

If it's useful, he had a right to it (always there).

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\PWRMGR\Data\BattMessageURL

    that includes the URL www.lenovo.com/batteries.

Can someone else with Windows XP and a Thinkpad T series look at the location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\PWRMGR\Data and tell me the name of the key battmessage2 and the URL that I need to add in?

    Kind regards

    Hi all

I got a file from an old iPhone on my iMovie app and then accidentally deleted the application itself. How can I get the video?

He is not on any backup so I'll need to find it on my Mac.

    Thank you

The file itself should always be on the hard disk.

If you know the name of the file, try to use Spotlight to find it.

Click the magnifying glass icon top right of your screen type the file name.

If you can't find this file name, try a format iMovie such as DV, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MOV and M4V

  • I accidentally deleted my boot partition

I tried to install Windows 10 using Bootcamp but it failed and I had to start. I thought I had deleted the Bootcamp partition, but I accidentally deleted the main boot partition for Mac OS. When I try to start my Mac Apple logo appears for a while, then finally I do not see an entry sign.

In an attempt to solve this problem, I started my Mac upward into recovery mode and reinstalled Mac OS on the partition that I created for the thought of Windows, I would be able to access my files and pass them to the new facility. Mac OS installed fine, but I now have a 800 GB partition, I can't access. He appears in disk utility, but I can not unlock or fix it.

Question is, can I repair the boot partition and to come back to how I was before I screwed up?

Or, is it possible to unlock the main so partition that I can access it from the new installation, back up everything can start all over again?

What do you backup before you start this project?

    Hello

It is not possible to directly restore a deleted custom dial.

However, you can easily add a new color dial and then repeat the customizations:

    • When displaying the time on your watch: firmly on the face of the watch, swept to the left until you reach the new watch face option > press the new button '+' > highlight color (using the digital Crown) dial > press to select it.
