While cleaning my computer to try to speed it up, I accidentally deleted the audio driver and now it says me that the audio driver must be installed and my audio shortcut is zero.
I have tried everything I have to do?
Go to the official website of the manufacturer (example: toshiba.com) and go to the support section and pilots. Physically look at your computer or laptop for the model (example: Toshiba Satellite A300-ST4505). Search for it on the site, download and install the audio driver for Windows XP.

Accidentally deleted the audio driver and have more noise
I managed to delete my audio driver. I don't need an update. I tried. I went on the Device Manager, or what it's called and my speakers appear, but they are bright color. I guess what I need to know is to get a download of a driver. I am running windows xp pro. I've looked everywhere and all I find are updates and links to a possible purchase. I know that windows has free downloads, I just need to know where to get them. Please help me. Thank you.
Do re-post with your PC/laptop, name and reference number.
Or go to the manufacturers website and download the audio drivers XP-specific for your model.
If the re - install the drivers does not work, try this:
Right click on desktop > Open > in the menus at the top of the page tools > File Options > tab view (or view) > scroll up to 'Show hidden files' and check it out. > Apply/OK your way out of the small window.
Access the c:\windows\system32\Dllcache and locate the sndvol32.exe file > copy it it here: c\windows\system32 overwrite when asked. Re-start.
See you soon,.

I accidentally deleted my address bar/file/history/tools/etc line, the top of my screen - I did it all by removing the extra toolbars - I don't know where or how to get it back. I did a system restore, but that did not bring him back. I don't know what to do! I had no idea who could be deleted! I have little technical knowledge and did everything I can think of to find it or bring it back.
In Firefox 3.6 and later Windows, you can hide the "menu bar" by "view > toolbars" or through the context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily.
Go on "view > toolbars" or right-click the 'menu bar', or press Alt + V T to select the toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to switch from the State).

Can't recovery my HP laptop please help
Hi, I have an Hp laptop (model: G62-340US) that I bought in 2009. Finally, it crushed in 2012 and has conducted the test and repeated my system without a reboot disk features. He told me to press F11 to recover my system, but it does not work. I did not initially to create a backup recovery disk when I bought the system but in my defense, the new feature says that a disc would not need to restore the system. Nevertheless, I should created one when even my problem is when I start my computer, the HP logo starts but need me a screen where it tells me that his writing copy protected and that there no disc reboot please install reboot disk. I have tried F11 but nothing happends and I tried esc knock to get recovery screen where I can choose F1 through F11. I chose F11 but it'll still take me to the screen where it ask me to insert the disc to reboot. I hope that my hard drive is not fried and if all goes well at least pay for a disk to reboot. Y at - there a step I'm missing? I mean I can't even get into my operating system (Windows 7) to try to recover from this end. Please help... Thank you.
You should be able to install a 2.5 "drive hard 9.5 SATA2 mm, up to 1 TB, with no problems. The disc can be either 7200 rpm or 5400 RPM. A disc of 750 GB or 1 TB 7200 RPM may cause a slight decrease in the life of the battery. Other than that, they do not cause any problem and you won't need to replace / upgrade your battery or other components.
I hate sourcing of a hard drive on eBay and stick to an online retailer or a local store.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

I've lost my admin account on my windows 8 laptop please help
I went back to my old laptop because my other broke. When I come back, it seems that my old account of administration has disappeared. Please help me. I can't do anything without an administrator account. All users have been replaced by normal ones I think.
Hello Greyyson,
Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.
You are unable to do anything because you are not signed in with an administrative account, so I you suggest to activate the default Administrator account and then try to create a new administrator account.
Try the following steps to activate default Administrator and check if it helps.
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box, type lusrmgr.msc and click/click on OK.
- In the left pane, click on/tap on the users folder, and then in the pane, double-click on/tap on administrator. (see sceenshot below)
- Do step 4 or 5 below what you would want to do. (see sceenshot below)
- To activate the account administrator built-in in Windows 8
- Uncheck account is disabled , click/click on OKand proceed to step 6 below. (see screenshot below step 3)
- To disable the built-in in Windows 8 Administrator account
- Check the account is disabled , click/click on OKand proceed to step 6 below. (see screenshot below step 3)
- Close local users and groups window.
- The built-in administrator will now be available to select to connect to.
More information
You can also consult the suggestion provided in the following link and check if it helps.
Enable and disable the built-in Administrator account
Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
Thank you.

Download and install the latest audio drivers. You can find them in your PC manufacturer's Web site, in the first case, or, failing that, the manufacturer of the sound card / device *.
