  You can force to use nvidia by selecting some Panel nvidia control, but normally the desktop programs and applications word/excel/browser, you won't see any difference.

  4. do you intend to re - install Windows 8.1, so you can get the 'regular' Windows 10 consumer version which will be released July 29?

  5. If you are planning to get the regular version of Windows 10, be you re - install Windows8.1 get the version of regular consumers of 10 windows and then return to Windows Insider 10 versions?

  6 have you ever used the 'GET WINDOWS 10' icon, to see what were the results of the analysis of the system for compatibility while using Windows 8.1?

• Acer ES1 - 511 Touchpad stopped working after the update to the latest version of windows.

  I just updated my Acer laptop ES1-511 (8.1 Win x 64) and my touchpad no longer works after a reboot.

  Windows 7 drivers are not available for this phone, because it was delivered with Windows 8.1.

• Multitouch 511 Acer e5 does not work after update bio

  I've decided to update my BIOS on my laptop Acer E5 511 and afer that my touchpad lost the abilitiy to work on mutlitouch gestures.

  I can't scroll, zoom, or do the right-click by pressing with two fingers at the same time.

  I tried isntaling the touchpad on the official drivers, restarted my laptop a few times but nothing helped.

  If someone had the same problem and found the solution please share, I got to use for functions multitouch now I feel diseabled whenever I use the touchpad just for the cousor Thierry.

  Found the soltion targeting minutes after this announcement.

  You must go to your BIOS or UEFI py parameters pressing and holding you key F2 while the laptop is turned on.

  Here you find touchpad and select 'Advanced Mode', then simply save the changes, and after restarting the laptop the multitouch features will return.

• Aspire E5-511 screen black after 10 Windows Installer when you charge

  I noticed that when commissioning after the Win 10 updated my Acer E5 - 511 would be black until the forced feeding button a second cold start.

  When the charger has been disconnected the screen is is relit and worked very well until he was reconnnected, then went black again.

  Acer has today released drivers Win 10 for the Aspire R5-511.  Seems to solve the problem of screen brightness settings.

  You can do this, but it would be much easier and cheaper to get a DVD USB drive.

  I usually access SafeMode in this way. Go to made CMD.exe right click and run as administrator. Then type msconfig. When it opens, go to start at the top and then click safe mode. You might be able to do this if you are able to get an installation media for windows8. There is a command-line option when you go to fix your computer. You might be able to do it here because you cannot start windows.

  I can't connect to my desktop and everything works normally.  But when I leave my computer alone, if I run a game or not, and no one touches, it displays a blue screen with the error above.  Does anyone have a solution?

  OK, but a week later the same problem occurred.  This time I retried the search google for anything whatsoever.  I managed to find the message with a driver who has a problem of "overclocking".  I went to the Acer website and went to the drivers.  I thought I had them all, but I missed the chipset driver.  Now, I got the BSOD when I updated and since then, I have not had a crash.  I hope that this help anyone having the same problem.  And thank you to everyone who has helped too.
