Acrobat 9.2.0 Pro Extednded deffective print in PDF format

PC: Win7 Home Premium.

Recently have had no success with printing to PDF using Acrobat 9.2.0 Pro Extednded. After some infections of malware Acrobat 9.2.0 Pro Extednded stopped printing in PDF format. Clean malware, did a fresh reinstall of PDF 9.6.2 Pro Extended and always without success.

A "Uninstall" effectively remove all related previous Acrobat files, or are there leftovers lurk manual cleaning of this need?

Is there a fix to upgrade patch for Acrobat 9.2.0?

Hi GlitchMobile2,

The latest version of Acrobat 9 is 9.5.1.  I suggest to launch Acrobat (with without opening a PDF file) and by choosing Help > check for updates.  You will need to apply updates gradually.  You will find that you are asked to reboot after each update, however, you don't really need to restart until the end of the last (9.5.1) update.  You can see a complete list of updates to Acrobat 9 here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows

Once you have patched up Acrobat to 9.5.1 I would suggest to run a repair from Acrobat (help > fix the Installation of Acrobat) just to make sure that everything is in its place.

  • Acrobat 10 Pro 10.1.3 hangs printing in pdf format.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, MS Office 2010. The problem is essentially the same one I had with Acrobat 9 - the attempt to resolve by updating to Acrobat 10 pro + latest version (2,700 SEK price tag) was frustrated.

Printing from any pdf document of the results in a message "printing to pdf-port" or "port 05" after a printing invites to name the file that results and after that - a silent crash. ". Just nothing happens but other programs can be used as before.

Try to convert directly from EXCEL/Word also results in an accident, but with the message "Acrotray.exe is buisy - try later" (my rough translation from Finnish). Try to remove startup Acrotray does not solve the problem.

I found a similar problem in Adobes forums, where the user received notice of updating to 10.1.2 to 10.1.3. The cat-person asked me to call next week, but I can't believe that such a fundamental problem has occurred only once.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion and basic information! I have re-enabled AcroTray and other programs related to acrobat in msconfig to start and have now checked every opportunity of printing of pdf_printer which previously had led to an accident. Everything works fine, now. (Although I don't know exactly why - I didn't even have to resort to printing files, as suggested. Maybe I had failed in previous attempts to solve the problem)

  • Acrobat Distiller 5 error - unable to print in PDF format

I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro. At the start, and when I try to print to PDF, I get the following text in Acrobat Distiller window: "unable to create the temporary file. Error 5: access is denied. "What is it and how to fix it?

You must be on to something... I opened the folder Acrobat Distiller 10, click on new folder, a window appeared titled Destination folder access denied. Content said "you need to confirm this operation. Acrobat Distiller 10. "08/11/2013 15:17 creation date.

I clicked on continue and it allowed me to create the folder and delete it. Perhaps Distiller's blocked upward because of this. Would it not possible to remove this folder and create a new one?

  • Print in PDF format (but not open) in Acrobat 9 Std

Howdy all... new here.  I have been hunting around, but can't find an answer to this.  I have a user who prints several reports in PDF format using the printer PDF in Acrobat 9.  Once printing is complete, Acrobat opens the newly saved PDF file.  Is there a way to disable opening the PDF file once finished printing?  I can do this with a third-party virtual PDF printer, but it is rather partial Adobe which is fine.  I'd appreciate any help you can give.

    Thank you

  • Help!? High-resolution encrypted PDFs cannot be bidistillees and printed in PDF format.

Need help, large company uses Acrobat XI, recently, our manuals that are recorded in high resolution with an encryption and enabled printing throws an error when you try to save it in pdf format.  Manuals are available online, download or open the manual in a browser of our users.  They need to print to a PDF of a few pages of the manual, but in doing so they get the following error message:

    %% [ProductName: Distiller] %.

This PostScript file was created from an encrypted PDF file.

Re-distillation encrypted PDF is not allowed.

%% [Flushing: rest of job (end of file) will be ignored] %%.

%% [Warning: PostScript error.] No PDF file produced.] %%

If the file is saved in low resolution with the same encryption settings, it works very well.  He used to work in high resolution, but something has changed.  If I use Firefox to open the PDF Online and use the FF acrobat plugin to do the same thing, it works as supposed to on high resolution settings.  I hit a wall to try to solve this problem and it causes loss of production time.  Can anyone help?

I mean, the value low resolution and NOT to DEFINE the ENCRYPTION. Without doubt, you have some concerns to protect the high resolution content, the solution is to have files that do not have.

It will change? I don't know, Adobe never gives a clue on motives of security and never tell us what and when they set...

FireFox, like many apps, ignore the security settings. (Where the big WARNING when setting security).  That being said, you do a lot of trouble for yourself by affecting security which is widely ignored - but not by Adobe...

    Hi all!

I'm working on a remote server with r2 Windows Server 2012 and when I print the format PDF Adobe prompt me where I want to save my file the default location is drive c. server that I am connected.

Is there a way I can change the default location to a specific folder on the C drive of my local computer and not the server?

    Hi djvaldes21,

You can select a folder where default Acrobat will save all files when convert you to PDF using Adobe PDF printer.

To do this, open the printer Adobe PDF Preferences and change the location of the folder desired under the label 'from Adobe PDF output folder. Click Browse to add or change the output folder.

    Hope that helps.

  • Lines/undesirable traits around object when printing to PDF format

    Hi all

When I place a document in Adobe Indesign CS3 it seems perfect on the screen.

But when I print to PDF in the PDF file, most of the objects show the wrinkles around them.

Of course, I put the race to '0' and color 'None '. The traits do not arise in Indesign and not when printing to printer directly.

But when I save it as a PDF there are all of a sudden these traits in the PDF file.

The features appear on Indesign (example oval and text objects) objects, on inserted EPS, TIFF, PNG, and GIF.

Can someone tell me what what should I do to prevent these features around the display of the PDF object, printed Indesign?

Thank you in advance, I appreciate all help.

  • CS5 unable to print in PDF format, export to PDF works well?

I can't print to PDF without first using PS. Printing on PDF file is required for brochure printing and printing separations, among other things. It will not directly print to the document PDF without first producing a PS file. I then convert the PS file into pdf.  Printing to PDF works great in CS3. Someone has an answer to this?

Is not appear in the list of printers available in ID at all?

Earlier, I was able to create a new PDF printer using the add printer Windows Wizard. I used the same original Adobe PDF port when he asked (there was only one in the list that resembled a PDF port, so it was not hard to find.) When he asked for the info of the model to the next step, I clicked on diskette provided and navigated to C:\Program Files\...\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\Xtras\AdobePDF caught the AdobePDF.inf file at the top of the list, then used the first lisitng for conversion to AdobePDF from the list on the next screen. Text page identical to the version files Acrobat is installed, and it works in ID.

You should be able to add using the standard printer Add Wizard. Here's the 2nd option.

Click Start to access the menu of Win - X, and then click programs and features.

In the window programs and features, click Turn Windows features turn on or off.

In the Windows features dialog box, disable Microsoft Print to PDF and click OK.

Reopen the Windows features dialog box, and this time select the Microsoft Print to PDF check box, and then click OK

  • Column width set to 0 when printing to PDF format

    Oracle Application Express Version: 4.2.0.00.27

    Apex listener Version: 2.0

We have a classic report with 20 columns. Out of them, few are conditional.

We use attributes of the print to print the report in PDF format. The problem with the PDF and printed, it keeps the column width of all the columns in the PDF file, even if they are hidden. We put the column width for all columns of 20 in the print attributes section.

Can we set the column width to 0 in the PDF output for columns that have hidden due to the State?

HI - so what you are trying to accomplish? The conditional columns are not included in the PDF file. And the column width for the PDF file is set as a percentage of the available space. So I guess that what you need is for the remaining columns, i.e. those who are included, to fill the available space, but is not because even if the conditional columns are not displayed, they still use place. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to conditionally set the column width, or update the width of the columns according to the conditions. You can try your own custom report layout, or use the APIs of printing for export and under certain conditions using different presentations.

I'll take a good score to see if we can improve the logic using the layouts of integrated report to be a little smarter on the use of space when the columns are excluded under certain conditions.

    Kind regards
    Marc
