  You must disable the software on the old PC, then install the software on the new system and use the same license key that accompanies the software originally. Also check if Acrobat is compatible with Windows 10

  Adobe provides no more upgrade to Acrobat X or XI, the only available update is Acrobat DC that too many Acrobat X & IX only.

  You will not be able to update Acrobat 9 Pro Extended for DC.

  So in this case you will have to purchase the full application of Acrobat DC Plans and prices | Adobe Acrobat DC.

  Because you bought 11 Acrobat Pro upgrade, during installation the Setup program will try to find the previous version of qualification you OE and if it does not find one then you prompt to enter the old serial number.

  You must select Acrobat Pro 10 (as it is the product that you owned before) and enter the serial number.

  The installer must recognize and continue the installation process.

  After you have entered your serial number xi, Setup checks your computer for an earlier version.  lack of find an it should invite you to select your previous version (9 or X, for example) in a drop-down list.  After you select the previous version, you will be asked to enter the serial number of the previous version.

  Enter the correct number at the right time and proceed with the installation.
