Acrobat PDF XI missing maker files
Just installed XI. I run Win7 and 32-bit Office 2010. Ribbon of export PDF in word and you can create a pdf of it.
The problem arises if you use the right click 'create pdf '. More importantly, when you use the fusion of multiple PDFs function. In both cases, it works well with excel but fails on word (in the case of the merger of multiple files work all other types of file f to go in but the Word file fails)
I get he message "PDF maker files missing. He suggests a repair that I tried, but it does not help.
I checked the COM add in is not disabled. It is not the case.
Just can't get this to work. Help!
Thanks for your reply, my company IT has now fixed. It did work directly from word, but not on a right click or drag and drop. Apparently it was some kind of conflict with an other word add-in.
Thank you

Hi, until an hour ago, I had no problem opening documents adobe, or word documents, however, when I try to open a pdf document is opened correctly, I have to save it, and then open with adobe, when I try to open the Word document of display of the error message - file conversion, select the encoding that makes your document readable? help please how to do everything back to normal? I think I caused the problem when I tried to open a Word / PDF of my removable flash drive, can someone please tell me how to solve this problem, without a questionable download?
Can I save as and then open with - and pdf opens the file - but before that I didn't have to do it just opened automatically
Thank you.

I just stumbled upon this problem there is, it's an easy solution to calm. If it's a .pdf to locate the file right click and select open with, then choose program select by default, choose the adobe reader software. What it does for each .pdf file it will use adobe reader instead of trying to use the wrong program to open the file. Same thing with .doc and .docx files only instead of adobe reader choose microsoft word

Create PDFs in Word 2013 gives, the error "Server Acrobat PDF Maker could not be loaded"
Cannot create/save a PDF in Word because of the error.
Acrobat PDF Maker Server could not be loaded
You want to run the installer in repair mode?
I tried following the instructions to run the installer in repair mode, but it did not help.
It's Office 2010 installed locally. I'm not a PC so I can't check the exact version of Acrobat, except to say that it is a newly installed domain controller Acrobat.
However, we have solved the problem to our satisfaction.
The problem was with conversion/recording with the builtin pdf Converter in Word Help.
Conversion using the addin Acrobat worked.

After you have installed Windows 10, I can no longer create a PDF of my program Pagemaker 7.0.1. Purchased Acrobat DC, but still no joy. Apparently, Acrobat PDF maker does not recognize the .pmd extension. I get errors and various suggestions, but nothing works. WHAT?
Print to Adobe PDF? Why the * & ^ * & ^ V_ $ didn't pay a lot more money to Adobe for an Adobe program that does not work with another Adobe program? Oh, right--they want to move me up (buy) the new Adobe graphics programs. I'll keep sweating this point and will no doubt wind up forking over a thousand$ $$ or so for 'new' stuff I don't need.

I can't seem to edit PDF files in Adobe Acrobat, as it says the files are protected and I need to enter a password of Permissions?
If the files have a permissions password, you must know it and delete security, before you can edit the files. That is right.

I had the same problem with Office 365.
According to your network group policies, unauthorized supplements can be disabled in your desktop environment. Go have a conversation with your network administrator (he or she already knows you very well like the one of-those-Adobe-user requiring administrator rights very advanced in order to install CC and make it work properly).

Acrobat PDF Addin.dll Filemaker does not load at startup upward
Filemaker Addin PDF will not meet the reactive in word 2007 running on Vista. I find the winword.exe and open as administrator and checked the Acrobat PDF addin, but this action does not resolve the problem. This issue applies only in word. PDF filemaker works in Outlook and Excel fine.
When I try to correct the problem through Word, Options, Addin, locate the add-in disabled, highlight and use Comm Addins, I continually get a messahe for error that says add it's loaded and available, but are only accessible by the administrator. My journal is as administrator, so I guess I have a little problem of system somewhere. The PDF Maker/Office/PDFMofficeaddin.dll file was located in the 'C' drive in the folder program files for office. Please repost your question in the Forum program: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistaprograms/threads where people who specialize in obtaining other than Vista and IE to work programs will be more than happy to help you with your problem.
If they cannot help you, try posting in the Discussion of the Office group at: http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.word.docmanagement&lang=en&cr=US where the people who specialize in Microsoft Word may be able to help, even if the problem is with Filemaker PDF (since it is a complement and works closely with other office products).
I hope this helps.

I'm having a problem where I can't right click on a .docx file and "convert to PDF". The .docx opens in Word and a dialog box Adobe error occurs saying "missing PDFMaker files. You want to run the installer in repair mode? "I checked the Word COM add-ins and the 'Adobe PDFMaker Office COM Addin" is listed as an Add-in Application Active. Don't know where to go from here.
I tried the following which have all failed to solve the problem:
Click 'Yes' to start the installer in repair mode
Windows and Office up-to-date
Uninstalled Acrobat, rebooted, reinstalled Acrobat
Word, I can print to the 'Adobe PDF' format... that's fine, so there is a work around, but I would like to be able to open files in Adobe Acrobat and convert several files in a single pdf file. This function returns the same error as described above. Does anyone have a solution? My versions of the application are listed below:
Windows Pro 10
Microsoft Word 2016 MSO (16.0.6729.1012) 32-bit
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 205 free (continuous). 2015.010.20056
I do not use it so did not save the auto-lien (s), but I read that MS Office 2016 has a 'problem' with Acrobat, and Adobe or Microsoft is working on a fix
