Acrobat Pro XI does not open
for some reason any on my computer laptop acrobat pro will not open. drive works fine. I have windows 7 on my computer. I read a lot of articles about it but nothing works. I removed my computer and reinstalled but it wont even load completely. It works fine on my other computer. I don't know what the problem is, I have nothing special on my computer to block or something. and the only error I get is "unable to connect to a DDE server Acrobat.

Acrobat Pro XI does not open. Cannot turn off. Help, please.
I use Acrobat Pro XI on PC Windows 8.1 since January 2014 with no problems. Now suddenly Acrobat Pro XI open at all! For some reason any reader XI has also been installed and would open a PDF if specifically asked when this become a problem, so I uninstalled the drive where he was being stupid. Now I can't open any PDF file at all.
Acrobat Pro XI was purchased outright, as a stand-alone license (vs part CS6 etc. and not as a subscription service) and I can't open the program, I can't disable the license and uninstall/reinstall. And of course I can't do it via another program I don't have CS6.
I have CS6 on my Mac as a subscription service, but the Mac and Windows versions were coexist on my account since January so I see no reason why there is a conflict now.
The typical solution is to run repair from the control panel > programs & features. You could also try to download the updates and see if updates fixes the problem. Try first the repair (if you tried to drive). The updates are at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows. With XI, they began to make the cumulative updates, so 11.0.10 should do the job. I know that you can install 11.0.09 and then update to 10, if necessary. When you do the repairs and updates, disable the anti-virus if possible (not sure how to do this with the Defender).

Acrobat Pro XI does not start!
Acrobat Pro XI does not start when I double click on it.
When I check the process in windows tab, it is not yet here.
This question is about my two PC, with Windows 8 installed.
I tried to fix it via Control Panel and no luck.

Bill@VT, I tried to open Acrobat from the desktop and the subway without success.
After some "trial and error", I understood the problem.
I uninstalled Acrobat and installed again and it worked fine. Then I went to update to Acrobat, and that's where the problem happens again - I was unable to open Acrobat.
So, I uninstalled again installed back and disabled the update (no updates). Now my problems are solved. I guess the previous update is may be damaged, and that's what creates the problem - that prevent me to open Acrobat. I hope that Adobe solves this problem, as I want to update Acrobat in the future.
To disable the update: open Acrobat, click editing, and then Preferences, scroll to the Updater and disable the updates.

I created a Javascript script that adds a watermark on the document action "paper print". This works in Acrobat Pro, but does not work in the drive. I am a novice using Javascript, so what am I doing wrong?
Cannot use either addWatermarkFromFile or addWatermarkFromText methods of document with player as shown in the documentation. You can hide/display the form fields and the existing layers, so consider this approach.

Why Acrobat Pro DC does not freeze when highlighting?
I have the most recent version (2015.009.20071) of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I often use the tool to highlight for taking notes. However, I noticed that, in this version, there is a pause after the syntax and application hangs for about 5-10 seconds until I can do something new. This can be annoying if I have to scroll just after my strong point. This has never been a problem before. Note that the application crashes not at all, just freezes for a few seconds.

Seems to be a specific problem of the file, try to re-create the file & then reproduce the problem.
In addition, open Acrobat, go to the Help menu & "repair installation".

the reason for not showing the Acrobat pro XI icon and other software on the small window of the adobe application manager is that the requirements is not met, only those programs that are compatible on your machine appears in the adobe Application Manager. You can check the technical specifications for software particaular on www.adobe.com. Hoe it will be useful.

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC does not print after update

I have a client who is tried Acrobat Pro DC, before buying and recently installed an update of Adobe. After that, she can no longer print to Acrobat Pro DC on a network print server printer. She clicks print in the print applet and nothing happens. It is not the coil in AcroPro, is not be wrapped up in the service of the coil, and it prints on the printer. No errors come at all. Already have tried all solutions in print troubleshoot PDF in Adobe Acrobat and Reader and none of them were working a repair to AcroPro and temporarily disable the anti-virus. Other applications, including the AcroReader DC can print fine on the printers on the print server. AcroPro DC will print on a local printer on a network running the same driver as the print server. Operating system is Windows 10 is 64-bit, OS Server R2 Print Server 2012. Solutions or insight would be helpful.

Please follow this thread to reset the Acrobat preferences:- How to reset preference settings in format Acrobat.
Would please check after you disable you the safe_mode in Acrobat program ask: -.
Acrobat > edit > Preferences > (enhanced) protection > uncheck "Enable Mode protected at startup" & "Enable Enhanced security."
Then in this same option, on the bottom there is an option to "Add host" where you can put the name of the server & then OK.
Relaunch the application and check for the same thing.
If the problem persists, please check with the different user account to reproduce the problem.

First Pro Trial does not open. Error 0sc0000142. Windows 10
The first trial Pro will not open. I demolished and downloaded 3 times for windows 10 PC. Cannot find solution. It downloads fine and appears as a listed program. Click icon and I get the error code: 0sc0000142. I searched what it is and can't find it.

Acrobat Pro XI does not install
I bought Acrobat Pro XI at Amazon. Downloads without error, it will not be installed. I enter the serial number provided, and accept the default install. He finished copying the files, gets most of the way through the installation (8 seconds remaining) and then restores the installation with a message "interrupted installation". I tried to download again and restart the machine, all with the same result. I run on a new Dell XPS 15 8.1 Windows running. What should I do to complete the installation?

New premiere pro version does not open a project because "it was recorded on a newer version.
I was cutting on my laptop - using the updated version first pro creative cloud. Laptop too slow - so rented an office until I finished this concert. I downloaded the last aps creative cloud on the desktop, including the latest creation of cc pro.
