• Blank screen after an interaction drag-and - drop

  Hey, I'm back.

  I have a small question about a drag and drop interaction in Captivate 8. Right now, it's together to continue to the next slide after three failures (with a failure caption) or to display a success message about success, then move to the next slide. However, when I publish it, it goes to a white screen for a few seconds after I finish the drag and drop interaction and moves to the next slide. The rest of the slides have text entry areas, and none of them have the blank screen between them.

  No one knows what might happen? I feel like there is a setting I'm missing or something. I've attached screenshots of the slide settings and drag and drop settings. Please let me know if you need more information.

  

  Why have you changed the suspension point to such a very short 0.1 seconds, what is the idea behind this? Yesterday, I already warned another user that such short duration is not at all recommended. D & D slides have a lot of code built in, and you add an action on enter to hide the playback bar. How long lasts this slide altogether? The point of suspension is not visible on the timeline, but your change will cause this situation:

  • an active slide part is 0.1sec
  • the inactive part of the slide is the slide duration less 0.1 sec; If you have kept the slide to 3 seconds duration, which means, 2.9 seconds
  • When you click on the submit button and exhaustion of attempts are executed measures OnSuccess or OnFailure: both go out of reading in your case, and the playhead must continue on the timeline for 2.9secs
  • If your items are not timed for the rest of the slide but end before this end, at some point you will indeed see a slide "blank."

• Can't send emails... There is no action after pressing the Send button!

  When I press the button "Send" or "Send now" button directly from the upper left corner or even through the 'File' tab, the email does not get sent. In fact, there is no action at all. There are has no pop ups showing message of progress or error messages. Its just empty!

  If I try to save the e-mail, it is saved correctly but nothing happens when I press send.

  I'm not familiar with "check and send".

  Have you tried Thunderbird running in its safe mode? This would tell us if an add-on is causing your trouble.

• Serial number after the interactive report filtering

  I have an interactive report. In the report, I have column named serial number which is generated using "row_number over (order by id). When I filter certain data of the serial number is the line number sequence, but I want to put the sequence based on number after filtering like when name rownum-100-samia, after the filter by samia serial number must be 1. Is this possible? I'm sorry if I can not write properly!

• Where are my Actions after installed DC?

  The installation of Acrobat DC has retired all my plug-ins, which is annoying, but not insurmountable. I can always update and re - install a plug-in.

• Cannot call a dynamic report link action after dynamic refresh

  I have a shopping car, that I'm trying.  (apex 4.2 database 11 g 2)

  In the basket, I have a link change which performs the dynamic action to open the modal page plugin.   I also have a button on the region to do a region of dynamic action refresh if you modify the cart in modal region.  After the updating of the region, I can no longer click on the link Edit (nothing happens)

  the link is defined as class = "lines" onclick = "return false".

  and lines is a dynamic action of jquery to call the page target in the link for the modal skills builders page.

  I checked the JS console and I saw no errors... any suggestions?

  When the page is loaded, Jquery listen event trigger on document.ready

  But in your case, when you refreshed your region, the values on the screen are from this point while it was loaded before.

  Go to your dynamic action

  I want to use a 'certificate of completion' interaction in my training project. Most of them include a variable name. I have no idea how to get this to fill properly. Help!

  Normally it will take the name of the value stored in the cpQuizInfoStudentName (already created) variable user. If you make a statement to an LMS, it should get the name of the LMS (not sure it works for every LMS). If this isn't the case, you can use a text entry box to enter the name and store it in this variable.

• Call for dynamic action of an interactive report

  I'm on APEX 4.1, 11 GR 2, Windows 7 and the latest version of Firefox.
  I have an interactive report. I want the end user to have the ability to click on a link to line level and launch a modal pop up on another page. Ideally, I would like to be able to use the Skillbuilders plug-in. I can make it work if I just go the road full page but I can't find a way to make it work like a modal pop up.
  I have tried different methods, which work, but I think that I should follow that is using a page-level dynamic action that fires when a found JQuery element selector is selected.
  The problem I have is that I can't find the proper JQuery selector syntax for the column. My report has a static ID of the IDN and my column a header of PARTS.
  The best I can manage is not to see something happen as a page refresh (if the link is on the same page). I don't see no errors in console and firebug.
  
  I replaced the dynamic action modal page appeal by an alert, which is not displayed, to make sure that it is not the configuration of the plug-in which is the cause of the problem.
  
  Someone would be kind to give me an idea of what I should be completed in the JQuery selector field of the DA and what should be the attributes of link? Because I want to redirect from page 1 to page 2, what should I put in the other fields in link?
  I've been chasing my tail with this for hours and read all the posts in this area, I could find, but I can't make it work. Any help would be much appreciated.

  That's what I did on my column link of an international registration:

  Link icon: (choose something)
  Link attributes: class = "btndetails" onclick = "return false;"

  (the onclick is vital, it prevents the default anchoring action does not happen)
  Implement the details of the target page that you want in your popup modal

  Create a dynamic action

  Event: click on
  Selection type: jQuery Selector
  jQuery Selector: .btndetails

  Advanced > scope of the event: live

  Real action:

  Modal Skillbuilders page:
  Location of the URL: attribute of the triggering element
  Attribute name: href

  Who should appear in the page without problem. The onclick is the key here, and probably why you were chasing your tail so far.

• Problem with button in Interaction training

  I created a Flash file with 4 questions 'Virgin field' (training within Flash CS3 Interactions) in the end I then use the SWF in two different ways. A way simply load the SWF in a 'stand-alone' page on my site and it works perfectly.

  The other way I want to use it is integrated in a more complex site, where I have a Flash file in which swf files are loaded when needed. In this version don't change not the button 'control' to 'Check the answer' and 'Reset' as it should and does not work the whole issue.

• Firefox can not be updated and do not be installed (no action after unpacking the file or the program update)

  Hi all

  I was unable to update Firefox since Version 17.0, each update attempt failed. The automatic update feature still reported that the update has been without success/failure, then download the new version of Firefox and then try to install it simply leads to inaction after unpacking (running the file). Now, I tried to address this problem by uninstalling firefox and then install the new browser. However, I'm back to where I was decompresses the file and then nothing happens. I am very frustrated as I like the browser and I can't use it anymore. Before, Version 17.0 worked well for me, I simply couldn't be updated. I checked my firewall (windows) and my anti-virus (avast free) program and the program is not blocked, so I simply do not know why I can not update and (re-) install. I would appreciate any solution

  Disconnect for security. Use the SafeMode clean Windows, but from the F8 key. See if you can install Firefox.

  I wonder if somehow, security software is always blocking the installation. Consider temporarily uninstall if necessary security software. No doubt other .exe files run (or I doubt you could do a lot with the computer) and this isn't a problem with file associations have been corrupted.

  I have an APEX 5 screen, that has 4 fields of entry of text and under this one IR that has these 4 parameters in its SQL where clauses.

  Now if I create a button that submits page or redirects to this page my report can be updated with the values of user entered without problem, basic stuff.  If I create the settings section as a dialog box model once again that I can get the update report as this dialogue submits the page as well as the report can refresh according to closed dialog option.

  What I struggle to reach is to allow the user to enter values in the text fields click on a button called 'submit' and there all stages of implementing dynamic action without page reloading.  I want user to P1_A, P1_B, P1_C, P1_D press on "submit" input, dynamic action that links the values entered into the fields, then fire another dynamic action that updates the State when the button is clicked / modified values what works the best.

  I am struggling to get this to work and I even tried to copy these settings and do them as hidden for example bind input P1_A to P1_A_Hidden by a dynamic action and have the report where clause =: P1_A_HIDDEN, but have not managed to get this working.

  It's possible?  I know its easy to simply send the page and make it work, but I want the experience to be quite uniform for the user and act as you never leave the page.

  I saw on the packages of the app in the chart example.  The bubble chart has a list selector (salary) and the table updates dynamically, it seems so that the process can occur, but I need the user to enter text and not use selection lists.

  The button simply trigger a unique dynamic action of refreshment on the IR region. Session state for page elements must be processed automatically by specifying them in the property Page to submit Items of the IR region.

  Hi bdamian, when provionsing machines you can use the MachineProvisioned workflow step. Here, you can do this either synchronously or asynchronously. In this case you would probably start an another WF of this step and have a logic of waiting instead of query the status of the machine. How to do this depend on the type of facility and if you have external deployment systems (such as SCCM, puppets) do sth in the background. So you may have to synchronize with these systems to know when a machine is really _ready_ instead of just turned on and running. Best regards, Ronald
