Automatic synchronization of blackBerry 10 BB10 works does not in roaming in the United States

Our Canadian users with Blackberry Z10 devices have reported that when they travel to the United States activesync does not work automatically. They must go in the settings of e-mail, stop pushing and then turn it on again manually synchronize their devices. It is the same for users connected through COMICS or directly via ActiveSync.

Have already checked political active Exchange is set to false for "RequireManualSyncWhileRoaming." Users have downloaded the latest software updates on their devices. We have no problems with iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile devices. Auto-Sync works absolutely fine on a trip with these devices in the United States.

Have reported this problem to the Support of Blackberry and got one of the user to generate and sent diagnostic Unit reports while he was in the United States. While we're waiting for Blackberry diagnose these reports want to know if someone has encountered similar problems and if they managed to solve it.

Any help or comments in this regard will be highly appreciated.

We were able to solve this problem by making a security wipe and reconfiguring email activesync on the device of the Z10. The device updates released a few weeks back probably solved the problem on the device, but it was not effective until it has been cleared and reconfigured.

    When you try to access the Administration > BI Publisher > Manager BI Publisher we get the following error.

    Error 404 - not found

    If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (refused) can be used instead.     I tried to change the xmlp-server - config.xml in to analytics.ws and bounced the server, but still facing the same issue.

    This problem has been solved once once the config.xml xmpl-server-file has been manually under the leadership and analytical endpoint was changed to analytics.ws. Bipublisher.ear on WLS console application restart.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones camera works does not suddenly

    Hi all

    I tried to take a picture yesterday to find that when I select the camera on my phone, I have just a white screen and the camera icon is gray shaded and cannot be hired?

    I always get the flash and geo tagging icon / scene mode icons and I am able to use them simply not capture icon.

    I had a range of different messages arrived saying that another application is using the camera etc and when I select video camera I get the message "the camera is use by another application, cannot start the video camera viewfinder."

    I ran the self test (which was a bit pointless) and he has just confirmed that the camera was not working.

    I tried to pull the battery with the phone on, but that does not solve anything.

    At my phone plugged on charge last night and when I woke up this morning and turned on I checked the camera again and it seems to work!

    I could take a picture and then I just got the blank screen again and were not able to make it work again since.

    I have not recently added all the apps or made any changes to the phone and it seems to have happened completely at random, as I did nothing extraordinary.

    I would really like to solve this problem without having to delete and re install the OS if possible but its is not in good shape.

    Thanks for the tips, but for some reason any 9th / 10th (I lost count) battery pull I've done seems to have done the trick.
    Left the battery for an hour and the camera has been authorized since!

    That pretty much sums up it. Since yesterday, with the most recent update, firefox does not display correctly these sites. Someone else posted a question similar to this topic. It has been marked as resolved, but there is no solution posted. Here's his question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/963125 I have the same problem as him with fb. In addition to the problem with fb, Gmail doesn't end loading. And MétéoMédia do not display the weather forecast. I'm sure that many other sites are affected as well.

    All sites work properly in Seamonkey, which I use once again, now. I went to oldapps download v. 22 of ff, but whatever the most recent update changed only came when I installed v.22. The problem persists. I could uninstall it completely and then new installation v.22, I guess, but I'm afraid that my browsing history, sessions, passwords, etc., would be affected, and I don't want to find all the files and support first. It's a hassle. Since the sites work in Seamonkey, I'm guessing that's not the fact that I have updated flash at the same time. I don't know how much these sites use flash, either. But if it's a problem of flash, I tell myself I should have the same problem in Seamonkey, and I did not.

    I wish that you guys would have an easy option to restore your updates because it's pretty darn annoying when they cause problems. Usually, they are not lethal problems, however, and the browser still works. Now ff does not work for some sites I use most often.

You do not have the appropriate permissions to access the item (I am an administrator with full control).  When I RC on the reader a list of options come & I play the disk after a long wait. but it is very choppy can you please help. I also tested for all the bad guys, but I seem to be clean.

    • What is the exact error message you receive on repair disk?
    • Since when are you facing this problem?
    • You did changes to the computer before this problem started?
    • Are you able to boot to the desktop?
    • You have a Windows Vista installation DVD?

  • Using blackBerry Smartphones, redirector works does not, the grayed out E-mail settings

    It worked. I had everything set up, and then I can only assume the last weekend when I installed and updated in MS it canceled everything.

    Now when I open the Desktop Manager, my email settings are dimmed, I can't synchronize my messages or calendar. When I click on it, it is said, "the e-mail settings are not available without an online connection to your e-mail system." When I go to sync and try to set it up, there is no Outlook profile to the choice. I've added another user profile in outlook and tried again, but there is still no profile, choose in the menu dropdown.

    Also, when I open the redirector, I get the message. ' Bot can the redirector: connecting to your e-mail system could not be initialized.

    I know that they are both related, there's something I forget. I have gone through the forums and tried several things that seem to be the same, but none have worked. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    I don't know it's important, but I have a "BOLD" and using Outlook 2007.

    OK, I got this problem. The redirector works now, besides I'm able to synchronize my device with Outlook. What I did uninstall Outlook and then reinstall it. Which corrects the problem. Questions in a trouble... wish that I would have thought of this earlier. Thanks to all who tried to help.

    I wiped it it clean and improved the operating system to 7.01

    I noticed that the previous service logo remains still (Rogers) during boot-up/shutdown, hmm, OK whatever he is working with Koodo.

    I called Koodo to allow data, but nothing works. I called them and they told me to enter "bb.koodo.com" in the APN field with no username and password. Then to save the host Routing Table (he told me that he registered very well) but I did not receive a message. Also, we have removed battery and tried everything again. It still does not.

    It is H + at the top right of the screen, but who has always been there.

    She said that maybe the phone was restriction IP since I bought it used, and maybe BB Swiss Army tool could help me get off, but she didn't know how. So I downloaded and pushed some buttons (more precisely remove COD) and really messed up my phone... lol

    Just reinstalled OS7.01 once again and fortunately had a fairly recent backup.

BBs are still originally designed for a specific carrier... and some of these contractual carriers with BB to place a splash screen of starting the device ROM, that can never be changed. But, it does nothing other that that unit was built for this carrier... but as long as all other things correctly, it is not serious at all.

    But, to be clear, when you say "it works on Koodo", I guess that's your voice services? And are all now, you must operate your data services? If telephone services do not work correctly on Koodo, then it is useless trying to get data services going.

    Never good to a few buttons when you don't know what you do... I don't remember if BBSAK is able to remove political or not, but it can do a very good cleaning.

    And that could be part of your problems. If, for example, the device has one IT political edge, while part of a full process... which means that even if you happen to clean off, a complete restoration simply will return to the instrument, turning to your right back to where you started backup/restore. Instead, to do only a partial backup or restore, and more precisely to avoid data bases that have to do with THIS, political, business or something similar... the conservative approach is to only to backup/restore of critical databases you need (for example, contacts, calendar) and manually reconfigure the rest.     I think you have enough to start on top. Another question about whether Koodo, however, is if their network is configured to auto-fill your specific with entries HRT device model and service book. If their network is not, while actually explains everything. No carriers configure their network to support all models of BB... each one chooses a subset of the model numbers of BB and configure their network accordingly. But trying to use a model number BB on a carrier network that is NOT configured for this model results in number exactly what you live... their network will not automatically grow some HRT and SB entries on your device because their network does not recognize your device as a model BB number taken in charge.

    Looking at a reference that I can find, it seems that Koodo is configured for the 9360, 9300, 8530 and 9790. But not for the 9900. Now, is that with a proverbial grain of salt... that reference does not necessarily mean that the network of Koodo is not configured for the 9900, it's just an indicator that is not. Koodo can only tell you that answer for you.
