Action Dynamics show/Hide article (s) or buttons on the box check

Hi all

I use Apex 4.1 and I created a dynamic action, so when the box is checked, an item might be hidden.
And when the checkbox is unchecked the item would have shown once again.
There are only several necessary steps otherwise only following the steps in the wizard action. I don't know much about the java script, then this dynamic action
seems to be a good solution if only it would work.
I use a simple box that returns Y on N off and active.
Oh and fire on the page loading is disabled and that the scope of the event is set to live.
Still doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone help?

Kind regards
Cleo

You must also add a process inside your dynamic action that updates the region of your article.

Everything that you put in the elements inside the APEX is known inside validations, only when it is calculated by the server.

The idea of dynamic action is:

1 value sent on the server (you can do this with an empty plsql process inside your dynamic action that publish your checkbox values)
2 update the regions with the new value for the server (there is a update within the dynamics of the action process)

Open your created dynamic action in the APEX and explore options. You'll find ;)

• The mouse pointer does not hide when you type, even with the box checked.

Hello everyone. I turned on the check mark in the properties of the mouse "hide the pointer during the strike". However, the mouse pointer does not hide when typing, but instead remains visible all the time.

No one knows why this happens? In previous versions of Windows, the pointer should simply disappear when keystrokes are typed, and then reappear when the mouse is moved. Is not the case here!

Thanks for any information!

System details:

Windows Vista Ultimate x 64 SP1, 4 GB ram
Intel Core2 3.16 GHz cpu

Hello

Welcome to the community of Windows Vista.

1. what application you are working on when you encountered this problem?

Hide the mouse pointer option allows you only to remove the mouse curzor of
the focus in the working window so that the cursor does not cover the text or the pitcure you see.

Make sure that the curzor of the mouse is placed inside the app as you type, as it does not hide the mouse, if it is outside of the application.

• simple ' show / hide ' script using option buttons, need a bit of help

Hello;

I have a place in my form I need to swap out what type of form you need to fill in an area. If I don't do it, it makes the page look over crowded, and if I go off to a process 2 or 3 steps, it doesn't have enough information in each section to be worth. It is one or the other.

At the present time, this code works well. Click on a radio button, and the form section appears and disappears. What I'm trying to do when the page loads, one of the radio buttons is selected and one of the sections of the form is visible. Then if you click the other radio button, it inverts the.

can someone help me tweek this code if one of the buttons is selected all the time?

Here is my script.

< style type = "text/css" >

< div id = "sub3" class = "showHide" > selection 1 content < / div >

< div id = "sub4" class = "showHide" > selection 2 content < / div >

< / make >

That's the short of it with tons of other codes on anyone of dumping.

Thank you

You took the class attributes of option buttons that corresponding with the functions of jquery... very simple fix. I have re-uploaded the sample page with your code and the class number fixed. Seems to work well. If you have other questions give me a shout. New page updated.

• Show/hide area using a button

Hello

I have a page with a region with fields of tblparticipant and then I have another region with the rest of the fields of tblparticipant. The page shows region 1 but then I want to push a button 'Continue' and region 2 shows in region 1.

Hope it makes sense.

It depends on your type of button, if you have a branch on the page which is conditional on the button then you can change the direction and put the value of the request in there, or you could change the button and use the 'URL Redirect Option' setting to redirect to the same page, and set the value of the request it.

• Dynamic action to show skillbuilders popup doesn't work when the page refreshes

Hello!.
I have a relationship with a column of link:

"" < a href = "f?... class = show_popup '...

I have a dynamic action defined like this:

Event: click.
type: jquery selector
selector: a.show_popup
no condition.

Action: skillbuildersmodalpage 2.0.0
URL: attribute of the triggering element.

It works fine, but after that the popup is shown and closed, the link does not work until the page is completely refreshed again.

After the closure of the pop-up window, I only update the report with $a_report (in another dynamic action on the 'auto skillbuolders close' event), I don't want to send the entire page...
the partial update works fine too, but not the link, it works again by refreshing or submit that all page

• RADIO BUTTON TALLY - Auto County & display the boxes checked/selected

Hi, feels like it should be simple and straightforward, but it is obvious to me.

I have a Questionnaire with say twenty answers YES or NO.

I used radio buttons grouped as fields in order to choose one or the other.

I have a field read "YES Tally" alone at the bottom of the questionnaire text, formatted as 'number '.

I want the form automatically calculate and display the number of YES responses (radio buttons) selected or checked.

How can I achieve this?

ZB.

If you have your export value for the set buttons to '1', then you must use the option of calculation ' field is the sum of: "option of calculation, or you can use the" simplified field "to add the names of the fields." If you use a value other than the value of exports, so you need to write a custom script and either test for the value of exports of the button 'Yes' or for the value of exports not be 'Off '.

• Show/hide multiple Button controls increment/decrement is AWOL

As far as I can see (LV 2013), there is a missing feature in LabVIEW, whereby, when you select multiple digital controls, you can't show/hide their increment/decrement buttons:

Here, I have 3 DBL, 1 I32 and 1 enum, but that goes for any combination of numeric values. If I right click on one of the selected controls, I have access to only two points in the title of the "visible Points":

-Label

-Legend

Where is ' Increment/decrement' part, whereas it is common to all these controls?

BUG? I couldn't find it mentioned elsewhere, but I would not be surprised to be the first to have noticed.

• Show/hide menu based on the logged in user

Hello

12.1.3 Jdev

I want to show/hide some menu items based on the logged in user.

I will explain the current design:

In my application, I created a menu as below. (It is created using 'Create or Update ADF Menu' file adfc_config).

ibis_menu. XML

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
<menu xmlns="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/menu">
<itemNode id="itemNode_home" label="Home" action="goHome" focusViewId="/home"/>
<itemNode id="itemNode_transaction" label="Transaction" action="goTransaction" focusViewId="/transaction"/>
<itemNode id="itemNode_customer" label="Customer" action="goCustomer" focusViewId="/customer"/>
<itemNode id="itemNode_upload" label="Upload" action="goUpload" focusViewId="/upload"/>
<itemNode id="itemNode_profile" label="Profile" action="goProfile" focusViewId="/profile"/>
<itemNode id="itemNode_serviceRequest" label="Service Request" action="goServiceRequest"
focusViewId="/serviceRequest"/>
<itemNode id="itemNode_report" label="Report" action="goReport" focusViewId="/report"/>
</menu>

I have a navigation pane in my Pages that use this menu as below:

<af:navigationPane hint="bar" id="np1" value="#{ibis_menu}" var="menuInfo">
<f:facet name="nodeStamp">
<af:commandNavigationItem id="ni1" text="#{menuInfo.label}"
destination="#{menuInfo.destination}"
action="#{menuInfo.doAction}"/>
</f:facet>
</af:navigationPane>

Now, I want to hide some items on the menu, depending on the Type of user loggedIn. I have the userType stored in the managed bean.

How can I get this feature.

An approach which I think is as below:

Define a variable for each itemNode in a managedbean(session scope) and who associate with the property ' visible ' / ' rendering ' of the itemNode in the Menu xml.

Please let me know is a good way to do it or is there another solution better?

• Remove "show/hide TOC" in iframes

I use RH9 to generate webhelp and uses iframes on almost every page of my project and thus I need to divide the pages in coloumned tables.

My problems:

one) I want users to have access to the table of contents and glossary, I created, but the mess of navigation page to the top of my alignment of the table. The obvious solution is to hide the table of contents by default at startup, but none of the tips I found (including Peter Grainge) to modify the js files to make this work for me. The best I could do is settings use webhelp HR integrate the show/hide text at the top of each page.

(b) Unfortunately, the text to show/hide appears in each topic in the IFRAME, as well as on the pages of the main topic. Users who click on these links in an iframe lose the window of the main topic.

Then, I can hide the default navigation getting started page and can I selectively incorporate a text to hide/show on the pages, except those iframes? I don't mind doing so manually if necessary. I understand that I could place the subjects I want to display in outdoor iframes to the project, but I would rather not since that affects the portability from one server to another.

Thanks for any help. John

Hi John,.

To hide the navigation page, follow these steps:

(1) before generating the output of WebHelp, exploring to the! SkinSubFolder! folder in your project folder and open the skn (to be used in the output) file in a text editor and modify it to , as shown in the screenshot below:

(2) the output and observe that this navigation page must be hidden by default.

If you want to insert to show/hide only selected topics, I'm afraid you must do it manually.

For letting us have the best overview of your condition, you can also share a sample project with the necessary details such as your desired output.

Please perform the following steps to share the project-

1. click the button register to sign up for a free account at http://acrobat.com.
2. Once you log on to your account, download the project.
3. once the project is transferred, please share with us.
(File sharing option is available in the lower left corner of the page as an option for specific files).

I hope this helps.

• Has anyone seen this error of conditional text: show/hide is incompatible?

When I generate my book file, I get the following error in the log:

Show/hide hidden is incompatible.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and resolve this problem?

Thank you

Janie Gulley

FrameMaker assumes that when you export a book, you would like conditional text to shown the same way across all documents in the book. It warns you if it is not so.

"Show/hide hidden is incompatible" means that the hidden state is not configured the same throughout your book. For example, it can be displayed in some documents but hidden in others, or an indicator of Condition red in some texts, but blue in others.

To resolve this problem:

1. Select a document in your book where the conditional text settings are correct and open.
2. Click on the book and type Ctrl + A to select all the documents in it.
3. Choose file > import > Formats. Import the Formats dialog box appears:
1. Click deselect all.
2. Check the conditional text settings .
3. Click import.

All the documents in your book have now the same conditional text as your chosen document settings.

• Show hide behavior

I am trying to assign a behavior to hide to see the to my portfolio. I already have a reversal of the image in place on 15 individual images in a grid, essentially a brighter version of the thumbnail when hovering.

What I also want to do, is to assign a show/hide behavior to each individual tile as well as the working capital which will show a paragraph on every piece of work when you move the thumbnail. I can implement substitution easily enough, but when the mask is added to the div, I'm trying to show just flashes briefly hovering and then disappears...

Any info would be get greatly appreciated?

Heggie

I already have a reversal of the image in place on 15 individual images in a grid, essentially a brighter version of the thumbnail when hovering.

FYI: You could do this with much less code and one set of images use a CSS opacity.

CSS:

#thumbnail img {opacity: 0.5}

#thumbnail img:hover {opacity: 1.0}

HTML:

Anyway, to answer your original question. Show/hide behavior IMO work best with the onClick event triggers. onMouseover triggers are succeed especially for devices touch screen.

• Button in a box

Hi all

Are there opportunities to have a button in the box type "query Data Explorer - multiple SQL"?

Pls help me.

• Show/Hide - advanced action buttons and images

So, I thought I had a handle on usage shares advanced to show/hide, but apparently not.

Here's the scenario:

-Screen where the user must select one of the 6 options

-When the user clicks on one of the 'boxes' of the option a check should appear and audio should play

-All other "cases" should be disabled to avoid audio duplication

Here's what I did to try to get this working:

-' Boxes' are buttons, click on success:

* Success box contains audio that plays (this works)

Success of the button execute advanced action:

> hide all other buttons on the slide (it does not)

> display an image of a check mark in the "checkbox" which has been clicked (does not work)

> go to the next slide (works, audio from the success box once completed)

Thoughts? Help! Thanks in advance!

Hello, unknown fan

Overlay buttons will not work, so let this idea alone.

I really want to finish this blog post on audio and widgets. Just an idea and will try to be at the time where I found the time to try something. Why don't you attach audio to an initially invisible object that you show with the same advanced action? This object can be a shape with no stroke and a fill alpha of 0% so that it is invisible to the user. You will have time before the sound can play completely before going to the next slide.
