Action of browser ContentHandler

Hello

I recorded a Manager mime to run my application when a specific mime type is used.  It works very well and start my app when I click on a link in the browser that points to a local file of the type that I registered.  But when I click on a url pointing to the same file on a server (the server returns the correct mime type), he calls "save file...". "Save / Cancel.  He knows the mime type since if I don't register my app, it will ask "the selected item cannot be displayed...". ».

So my question is how I do that instead of asking to save the file, it works directly similar app when it's a local file?  Should I introduce a certain action?  ACTION_OPEN is set for the opening of a local file.  I tried several other actions (run, install, new, save, select this option, send), but none seem to do the job.

Thanks for your help,

shabl

The user must save the file before opening it in your application. There is no way around this prompt when using CHAP.

  • VCOPS + re-installation vCenter

    Hi all

    I have a question 'bit '... I would spend my vCenter from physical to virtual, but I do not want to reinstall vCOPS, Infr'action. Browser and rebilling.

    The new vCenter will have the same settings of the former vCenter (certificates, IP, ecc.) and will connect to the DB even.

    It is possible to migrate in these terms without problems?

    Thank you all!

    Matrix

    If you run the migration steps, you will use the same DB and SSL keys, so it wouldn't matter to the other components of VMW. You will implement the new vCenter and also your organizational structure will be preserved. Fortunately, you can test it again and again with a food safe... e.g. the old server.

  • Issue of EO

    I have currently a VO, which is filled from a view, not a table, and there is no related to the VO EO. I also have an OS that will be used for insert, update and delete a table. The values that will be passed to the EO will come from a record that is selected on the screen, the view object. My question is, how programmatically pass these values to the EO and perform the necessary action while browsing the VO?

    If you have a from VO EO, what you need is to set the values in the attribute VO and OFA pass it EO. There is no way to access the area of occurrence in your AM.

  • Action scripts when the PDF opens in the browser

    I may be in the wrong forum or can answer this question already

    I think that the answer will be no. but thought I would ask

    I use Adobe Pro and our institution as a whole has a license for Adobe Pro

    I wrote a script of Action that retrieves certain pages of a document package, some of them emails, records some of them and destroy them before that parts of the package that need signed are printed

    Here's my number

    We have Adobe Pro xi

    Windows 7

    THAT IS TO SAY 10

    The formula in question is generated from a browser application. All employees have the ability to go into tools - manage add-ons - and enable or disable Adobe Reader

    Mine is always disabled

    Several members of the staff have it turned on and open the document in the browser

    -so far all document javascripts I have written have worked anyway

    Action script though - I can't call when I go and activate Adobe Reader as the only elements that show to the staff's signature and comments form. The 'Tools' option is not there, and this is where my action script.

    I could force the staff to open in PDF format - but they won't be happy if I force this option

    is far from having the tools - and so my action script work if they open the PDF file in the browser?

    I guess I could try to do all the action script code in a JSButton if this is not possible, but action script allowed me to break the code into the section

    Thank you

    Acrobat/Reader install a limited Player plug-in and allows only some features that allow to interact with the file PDF is displayed in the browser for playback and recording. It does not features.

    If you need this plug-in, save the PDF file on the local system, and then open the saved PDF file.

  • Open the main window of the browser changes also Action

    I use the action open a browser window on an < a > tag (href) and not only it opens a new browser window, it also changes the content of my main window to the linked page. I can't understand how to do stop doing that! Any help? (FYI - I am a rookie HTML, so be nice)

    Thank you!

    Without seeing the code, it is more difficult to explain.  But basically, if you look at the code just change the href attribute on ' # ' instead of the linked page.  The problem should be solved.

  • Can you have a different action when you open your browser when you click the home button in the browser?

    I have two specific pages set as my home page (s) for when I open Firefox; one is a Digital Radio streaming page, and the other is Google. With the browser open, I would like to be able to click on the home and JUST go to Google, not to reopen the two pages. Is this possible?

    You can change your shortcut on the desktop Firefox with two starting URLS. To try:

    • Shortcut on the desktop: right-click on the icon, choose Properties
    • Icon taskbar pinned: clic click right on the icon, right click in Mozilla Firefox, click on properties

    Windows normally selects the shortcut tab. If this is not the case, go ahead and click on the shortcut tab.

    You will see the target highlighted. On 64-bit Windows, which is usually either not less the following:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

    For the specific shortcut launch pages, you can add them to the end, for example:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -url "http://www.dilbert.com/" -url "http://www.gocomics.com/pearlsbeforeswine"

    After OK'ing the Properties dialog box, you can test everything right now to confirm that Firefox is now launching a window with tabs. Either:

    • Double-click the shortcut on the desktop
    • right click on taskbar icon pinned, click Mozilla Firefox

    Who do you want?

  • How to allow the clean-up actions to be taken by a reentrant clone before he is killed, seen through the web server, through a narrow browser?

    Here's a question I'll get lucky with.  I have a VI, set to be reentrant, broadcast via the web server.  The main instance of the VI is never worked with: it's a clone whenever someone accesses the correct URL, and the user interacts with the newly created clone (never the main forum).  A clone is able to configure and calling instrument VI when good IDs are entered, which translates to browser popups that are controllable on the end of the user (even if only one user ever does both. To clarify, many clones can be opened simultaneously for connection purposes, but that a user never interacts with the instruments that are not themselves reentrant).

    If the user clicks on my Logout button in their browser, it is trivial to close these instruments other, independent and properly clean.  But if the user simply click on the red X in their browser, it is non-stop and the instruments that the clone called stay open on the server, when they close.

    My experience so far:

    No close panel? event seems to be triggered in the clone.  The clone simply cease to be.

    The remote_panel_connections property doesn't seem to work properly in this case (I have not had luck so far), since it is possible that more than a clone to be active and that the main parent who is spawning clones stays running, but is not interacted with in some way.

    What I need:

    One way for the clone of VI recognize that the user has closed his browser and communicate that it closes all the assets of VI before ending.

    --------------

    I would like to avoid forcing the instruments that the clone call to constantly query to see if the VI clone is present on the network.  If there is no other solution, but this, I would appreciate a suggestion as to the intensive way less code and resources to implement this type of interrogation, as the instruments are really designed to be totally independent after they are called, rather than under vi.

    Thanks for all comments, let me know if you need more information.

    MTdev wrote:

    When a VI stops running, any reference as a queue is also cancelled.  You can make use of this fact.  If your original clone VI could launch a second reentrant VI, which remains active, you could channel all communications to the instruments via VI second using a queue created in the first.  When the first VI disappears, it will trigger an error waiting waiting VI in the second (no vote office is involved).  The second VI can take all the necessary measures.

  • some actions does not not in the browser

    Hello.

    I have a swf file which works fine on my local drive but does not completely on Safari (or know).

    I have 7 buttons on the stage. When one is on, he plays a mc. That mc that is his last picture, all the other buttons on the disappearing from the scene (have the value alpha = 0). When you press button reverse, reverse images and all the buttons reappear.

    However, when I download the swf file on my server, everything works well, but these buttons do not disappear as they did on my local disk. No idea why?

    Here is the code on each mc to the buttons on the scene disappear.

    _level0.pocket_btn._alpha = 0; {

    _level0.plush_btn._alpha = 0; {

    _level0.highchair_btn._alpha = 0; {

    _level0.messenger_bag_btn._alpha = 0; {

    _level0.washable_btn._alpha = 0; {

    _level0.expandable_btn._alpha = 0; {

    _level0.loops_btn._alpha = 0; {

    }

    }

    }

    }

    }

    }

    }

  • Action links via the browser to invoke script are not passage of parameter

    Hello

    I followed below Rittman blog for this exercise:

    http://www.rittmanmead.com/2012/07/navigating-to-BI-content-in-obiee11g-and-passing-multiple-parameters/

    But for some reason when I passes the name of the column the column parameter and the value fo the column to the setting it does not pass to the dashboard page. The link goes to the page mentioned dashboard, but it is not the setting of the underlying page.

    I did not indicate the correct setting. Referred to this blog and it helped.

    I had to restore my hard drive for a date two weeks earlier to eliminate a problem that I had. For some reason, this fuck my Firefox browser. I uninstalled and then reinstalled (several times now). It seems that the resettlement is successful; However, when I open Firefox, a pop-up appears in the center of my home page. He is white, except for a small box that I can check and uncheck the box and a bar gray in the center that does not seem to do much. There is no copy in the pop-up window. It doesn't seem to be any sort of close and it keeps me from taking any other action, including closing the page. No idea what this pop-up and how can I eliminate it? It does not appear with another of my browsers.

  • My browser is hijacked

    Firefox is my default browser on my XP - Pro SP3. Yesterday, my Windows 7 wouldn't start. To try to solve this problem, I used this XP to try to make a boot floppy. The file I downloaded was so full of malware that, after the two rounds of eScan, later running of Baidu Antivirus, Malwarebytes' AntiMalware and SuperAntiSpyware, I get always the popups and advertising in websites that normally do not have their. My Windows 7 is still down; but now, although I would be grateful, that I have a XP computer, my default browser from Firefox is infected with this malware causing popups so annoying that I can't use the Internet effectively. In fact, I think that the diversion is so effective that I had trouble with the acceptance of the password.

    The site I used is pcpitstop.com, where they offer many utilities, some are free while others are for payment. After resetting the browsers and backup of bookmarks, scans, I ran were AdwCleaner and Junkware Removal Tool. With AdwCleaner, we must review a log of the actions proposed after an initial analysis to avoid to remove something legitimate.
